Cuban sandwich with sweet potato fries
    Maya C.

Good food at a sports bar in San Marco? Ok. So my booster club decided to add this place into our rotation of restaurants to have our meetings at and I'm very glad that we are changing it up. I've been to Toscana in this little shopping center but not Players Grille. Walking into this place, wow it screams sports bar. They have a little meeting space away back in the back portion of the bar, hidden away from the front and quiet enough so that everyone can be heard. It seems like it was a makeshift back room with a long table and chairs but it served it's purpose. I sat down with the other members and looked over the menu. They all highly recommended the Monday night specials of 10 wings, spaghetti or a 1/2 burger for $7.99. I just settled for a Cuban Sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries with an Angry Orchard. The sandwich was pretty decent. I read that it was on a "pressed roll" but it wasn't pressed like a pita. Not a traditional Cuban but it worked for me. They were heavy on the pickles but I like them so that was fine. The sweet potato fries are good and served with the Country Crock cinnamon butter and because I like variety, I ate some with the butter and some with ketchup. One wasn't better than the other. I hope we can continue to meet here so I can try other items.

A great neighborhood bar and restaurant with a cool atmosphere. Lots of TV'S for sports and a ton of memorabilia on the walls. The menu offers a great variety, but their BBQ selection is the best. Daily specials and drink specials round out this offering. Food is second to none and the drinks are good. Service is always fast and friendly.

String Sports Brewery is, at first glance, a brewery. But spend a few minutes inside and you'll…read morerealize it's also a quiet tribute to basketball culture, local loyalty, and unexpectedly onion ring excellence. I arrived unaware of its history, but the owner's love for basketball is unmistakable, and the locals reflect that same devotion... not just to the sport, but to the space itself. There's an ease here, a sense that people aren't just passing through. I took a seat at the bar, did what one does in such environments, and ordered an IPA. It was solid... confident, balanced, exactly what you'd hope for. But then came the onion rings, which I ordered based on a subtle but unmistakable social cue: everyone else seemed to be eating them. Reader, they were correct. These were not mere onion rings. These were structurally sound, texturally precise, and philosophically complete. Large, fully cooked onions, no trace of that unpleasant raw bite, encased in a crisp, golden coating that somehow maintained its integrity from first bite to last. Crunchy, consistent, and deeply satisfying. Naturally, I paired them with blue cheese dressing because I'm from upstate New York, and that is not a preference, it is doctrine.

Went to watch the jags game today and the experience today was much improved from my last visit!…read more I had a Bullet Bob IPA that was pretty good! Would totally have it again. I arrived a little bit later than the rest of my group and they had already ordered several apps for the table. I did not come hungry this trip, so I just munched on the boiled peanuts. They were spectacular. The service was wonderful! The employees were all very engaged with the customers. And what a great place to watch the game! An abundance of TVs and what's better than hanging out with fellow jags fans?! Plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor options. And just a fun place to be. I'm officially a fan now and will for sure check this out on a more regular basis. No pics because I was too busy being blown away by the Jags performance today! Duuuuuvallllll

Our son had a lot of fun trying out all the games. It's not just golf! We tried soccer, baseball, carnival games, and even zombie dodgeball. The food was really yummy. They have a great beer cheese dip that goes perfectly with their giant pretzel. We also tried the beer battered onion rings, and chicken tenders. There wasn't a kids menu, but at least there were chicken tenders! The drinks were pretty impressive! I had looked at the menu online ahead of time and picked out a drink, but when we got there, they said that was an old menu. But they asked what was in it and made me a new drink that I really liked. And my husband ordered a drink that came lit on fire. It was delicious, but I forgot the name. Overall, it was a fun evening out for the whole family.

Outdoor seating is a great option with this great weather! The "Welcome Drink": Manifest Craft Distillery Classic Daiquiri is a good start...not strong, a bit low key and nearly 6% alcohol volume. The Good Pat packs a punch with the bourbon and blueberry simple...good combination! The Margherita flatbread was okay...pretty run of the mill flavor. The DJ, though!
