Absolutely loved this pizza. Wasn't even hungry and had three slices because of how good it was. Service was good and people were friendly.

We ordered over the phone, and she read the menu because it was my first time. Maci was very friendly and clear. Walking in made me feel welcome and hungry with the great smell from the oven. We waited less than 10 minutes to get the order. We ordered a large half combination and half Hawaiian with two sides of the sweet wings and jalapeno & cheese fries. The price is reasonable. First off the pizza is not bad at all. As for my rant on the one star- We ordered our pizza for delivery at 1230. At 2pm we called to see where our order was as they said it would be ready in an hour. At that point they said they got busy and those orders to priority over ours because they were in house. Horrible customer service in my opinion. No call to even tell us it would be later. At that point we said we would come down to pick up our order as it had been 45 minutes further beyond our 1and a half hour wait. The customer service was great. The vibe was comfortable and the decor charming. We ordered a pepperoni, a chicken pesto pizza, and wings. Everything was good. The wings were cooked well and tasty. This was the worst pizza we have ever had. First of all they brought me someone else's pizza. Not even LOVE YOU to the on. Ordered. I called to have it fixed. They told me it was my fault because I ordered the pizza. I know how I order pizza, same way EVERYTIME . the manager said they could only bring me the corrected pizza if I gave them the wrong ones so,they could deliver those pizzas to someone else. Where do I begin on this one!!!??... Okay I'll start with the first phone call to Players Pizza tonight. Literally called to reorder my same order me and my boyfriend have every time we go there and it's on file and phone call never takes more than 2-3 mins tops. But tonight was a whole different story I called and got put on hold for 5 mins me being frustrated ( I work at a burger joint and orders never take more than 4 mins) so I hung up and called right back about 2 mins later. ( Keep In mind it's already been 7 mins at this point) When I called back she asked to put me back on hold I said ugh.... I have a question real quick how much longer is the wait I've been waiting on hold she said I don't know and put me on hold didn't say another word. Total time for this phone call was 3 minutes prior to me hanging up because once again i was frustrated. Third time I called she finally placed my order and like I said less than 3 mins my order was placed. When I arrived to pick up my pizza she was very rude already. I paid for my order and also requested to speak to a manager about an employee. She had asked which employee and I told her the name the lady gave me over the phone. She said that is I and asked what the complaint was. I told her it was very disrespectful on how she answered the phone and continued to cut me off when ever I tried speaking. About 5 mins later things went south and words were exchanged between the both of us. She finally said get your stuff and leave you aren't allowed to order from here. So not only was I treated with disrespect from a place where both me and my boyfriend have put our money into multiple times but I basically got in trouble for standing up for myself. I get it if you're busy just let the customer know keep them updated over the phone. And to top it all off once we finally go to eat the pizza the cheese in the stuffed crust is still completely unmelted and still shredded like it just came out the bag. They have went downhill lately. Stuffed cheese is still shredded and not even melted and lady at counter at night was rude to my girlfriend and claimed she was the manager when my girlfriend brought up that she was rude on the phone when placing the order and left her on hold for 20 minutes and hung and told us (since she complained about it) to never come here again and we were no longer welcomed. We decided it was time to try this place. We usually stick closer to home for carry out, but really didnt want to sit on the phone to call in an order, and hey, online ordering. When we got there, I wasnt sure what to expect. Walking in, looks decent enough, wasnt super busy, but seemed clean. Waited my turn at the counter, and after a few min of one girl helping the guy in front of me, the other acknowledged me and let me know shed be right with me. Two girls working the counter/drinks/serving/phones, so it did take a little while longer than Im used to at other places. The girl that helped me was quick to get my order and get us back on the road. Pizza itself was the best Ive had in town so far. Even my 3yo ate two slices, which says a lot for the kid that usually only picks off toppings. Crust, cheese, and toppings were all a good ratio. The test was the deive home as we live about 35min away. Got home, it wasnt soggy from grease. Flavor was great. Hubby also got the Italian wings. He said though he would have liked them rendered a little more, they were still not super chewy, and the flavor was really good. He said the ranch didnt taste store bought, seemed made in house. 5 couples went together for dinner at 5PM. First received dinner 30 minutes after order, went to check on a simple cheeseburger, which came at 45 minutes, went to check on a small pizza and was told it would be right up. Checked tge pizza oven and NOT 1 pizza in the oven. Received last order 1 hourcandc15 minutes after the first. Highly rude and confrontational manager is making us give up this place for good. We brought in outside food for our party's two picky kids while ordering an extra large pizza here for the adults, and five minutes after sitting down the manager came over and immediately chewed us out loudly in front of other customers for having outside food. We were nothing but apologetic and calm when trying to explain the situation with the kids but all she said to us was "Do you know how weird this is for us?!" Two of us went up later to apologize again and take the order to go but she was still angrily trying to put us down. We should have cancelled the order right then when she was acting like that. We were regular customers (2-3 orders per month) and even had a large order for an event placed in October that totaled around $200. We really enjoyed this place until we were treated so horribly. Thank goodness there are friendlier options in town to patron. Edit in response to the manager: First of all, Penny, there was no "asking" involved. Just an egotistical manager who felt it was her right to walk all the way to our table and yell at our family in front of everyone else. That you won't even acknowledge what you did and how you were blatantly acting toward us in front of other customers and your staff says all that we need to know about you and your management practices. You know what's "common business practice"? Having a sign on the front of your business that says "no outside food allowed". Not even at the front counter is this policy displayed. But even then, with you confronting us so horribly, we were trying to be humble about it and apologized to you about the separate pizza for the kids. However, you didn't change your tune and stop your behavior until we were about to cancel our order and walk out. Most of all, besides the night you ruined, we feel sorry for your employees who had to see such a bad example of management. No matter how your emotions are, you should have approached us calmly and informed us of your policy instead of coming in and throwing around accusations. The picky kids in our family have never ever liked your pizza, period. This was a discussion that privately vexed our family for a long time as we hate going to multiple restaurants for one meal. It's a struggle and honestly this just shows how insensitive and unaccommodating you've shown your establishment to be. We are happy to be done with you and never give you or your place another thought, just like the other locals you've driven away. read more

Stopped in for dinner -ordered the Italian pizza and a soda. The pizza came out quicker than we expected and it was delicious! Generous toppings and the crust was thick and chewy. They do offer four different options for the crust. Atmosphere is relaxed and the decor is eclectic. The staff are all well trained and very personable. Our kids lost almost $7 in the old arcade games within the first 10 minutes of being there. Service was ok but pizza was burnt. The employees were arguing among themselves loudly and we didn't want to have our evening ruined worse. This place has really fallen off since the other store opened. They sold all of the new and cool arcades for old machines from the 90's and have downgraded their service. I think we will try another place next time.
