Although the music was a vibe the food was mediocre and the security staff was very unprofessional snatching the hookah from my party of 5. The website doesn't stipulate there is intermission between parties which was very misleading. Not a fan at all of this place this is why the Bronx gets a bad rap. read more

Between the obnoxious comments and overall rude energy, I was glad to leave the unnecessary line they held while my friends sent me pictures of the place not even near capacity inside. I absolutely love this place. I've been here a couple of times for R&B happy hour. The R&B night caters to mature crowd. The DJ plays mostly 90's early 2000's hip hop and R&B. Upon arrival to this lounge my group felt very skeptical at the surroundings. Our table with VIP 6 bottle service was not ready and we had to ask to be treated as VIP and not wait on the long line. We were about to request a refund. Thankfully the promoter sprung into action and the service shifted. We dance and partied in our section yet had to continuously get our waiter or get extra items from the bar ourselves. The inside looked nice yet at one other VIP section we heard a loud bang that had to be a gun. The entire party of them were asked to leave by security. This was extremely unnerving. We left shortly after this and went home feeling like most of the night after these questionable events happened went well. I will never return to this lounge as it was not my cup of tea. They allowed us to leave with our bottles, which was good. I feel they should serve food on Saturday night. I am an African American woman from the Bronx, NY. I am writing to formally express my concern regarding my experience at your establishment on the night of 02/28/2026. I attended your lounge/club to celebrate a birthday event and had over five guests present as part of the celebration. Throughout the evening, we spent over $1,000 at your establishment. I had two drinks and later went to use the restroom. When I entered the restroom area, a security guard was standing nearby speaking and flirting with a woman next to the bathroom entrance. That interaction appeared to be normal club activity. When I asked who was next in line for the restroom, the woman became upset, and the security guard informed me that there were two women ahead of me. I acknowledged this and calmly waited for my turn. After using the restroom and exiting, I was suddenly surrounded by security and told that I needed to leave immediately. I was forcibly escorted out of the club without explanation. I was not given the opportunity to inform the party I was with that I was being removed. At no point was I aggressive, disruptive, or engaged in any altercation. Your security cameras will show that my behavior remained calm and respectful throughout the entire incident. The way I was treated felt targeted and harassing, and I am deeply concerned about the professionalism and ethics demonstrated by your staff that evening. As a paying customer who supported your business significantly that night, I find it unacceptable to have been treated in such a dismissive and forceful manner without cause or explanation. I respectfully request that you review your security footage and investigate the conduct of your staff to ensure that other patrons are not subjected to similar treatment. Well... it's Super Bowl. Crowded. You can feel the excitement in the place. Food was good (regular). Ordered guacamole with chips (tasty) fried chicken chunks of breast. (Yummy) and buffalo wings (spicy as hell, I couldn't eat them) Lips burning as I write this. Hookah filled air. Service was decent. Security is TIGHT. Definitely feel safe, just upset my weed and rolling paper was thrown out along with Mutha Fukkas! Sis' cigarettes and my alumify. (Eye drops) so heads up..... I really like to go on Saturday's for brunch. However, that wasn't the case this past Saturday. I went there to celebrate my sister's birthday. We had a reservation for 30 people and we had two tables. We had a server named Leinymar. The rating is mainly for her awful customer service. Both tables were decorated for my sister's birthday. It wasn't hard to tell that the tables were together and I know she had to be informed that she had a big party. We had to ask her to go to the other table to bring them drinks and take their food orders. When she took my order, I requested that my egg be scrambled instead of fried. She goes "that is going to be a lot for the chef" that is not what you say to a customer. I go there for brunch often and I always request my egg to be cooked that way. When the breakfast orders came out my sister was the last one to receive her food. As the birthday person, she should've been the first one to receive her food. When I asked for more water she bought me a glass, instead of brining a pitcher of water for the table. She wasn't attentive. She had to be flagged down, or we had to ask another server to find her. It took forever to pay the bill and by the time we wanted to buy bottle service it wouldn't have been enough time to drink the bottles. They changed the french toast, it is so small compared to what it looked like before. I like this venue on Saturday brunch but Leinymar really needs to be trained, if she is ever your server, please request someone else. read more

First off you must walk up to the door, to see if it's open because when calling no one ever answers. Also the location always looks close. You are greeted by a security guard who checks your ID and checks the man. We got a nice security the folks behind us, not so nice. I'm assuming when it's a smaller group they manage better, because that security was so rude to that bigger party. We had no reservation but since the place was empty we were sat down quick. We didn't want to drink just smoke hookah and grab a bite, that must've trigger the waiter because when I order and didn't order drinks she rolled her eyes and walked off. She came back and continued to ask if I wanted a drink. The food was Tasty and the hookah service was great. The waiter disappeared on us and we asked for the manager, who tells us her shift ended and she left. The place is nice, lots of TVs to watch sport, food and hookah great. Service was horrible. Half way inside some bouncer starts asking if we got searched. Then he says to back up and then tells us to go outside. No pleasantries , no sorry guys you need to go back out bc of X, Y and Z. Service was extremely slow. It took us an hour to be able to get in touch with any worker here. By the time we made any attempt at an order, they were out of food. They have deals throughout the week, which is nice I guess. The issue is that it's a scam. Like $55 for a prefix bottomless brunch menu (with two entrees!) sounds lovely, right? Especially in NYC. Only thing is that the portions are comical! Empanadas we're one inch long! They practically cooked us quail eggs with how small our eggs were. I swear that my baby cousins had play food bigger than these servings! This also translates via bottle service. You get a rather wimpy ass bottle for such an extensive price. While the food here is pretty decent, I wouldn't suggest or rather, not hesitate suggesting this restaurant as a place you need to stop by. The security that works on late night Tuesday are extremely rude and disrespectful especially towards women. Throughout the night they constantly acted belligerently and aggressive to me and my friend from entry to upon us leaving. I had to use the restroom towards the end of the night and the security and staff denied me access after we just paid $100 each to get in this establishment, excluding drinks/hookah. Despite being a regular patron, my experience on 02/23 was utterly disappointing and unacceptable. Upon ordering a drink, my party and I were served promptly. However, when we requested to take the remaining portion of our drink with us as we were leaving, we were abruptly denied by the staff. We were informed that it was against the restaurant's policy to allow customers to take leftover drinks, despite the fact that we had paid for them in full. This refusal to accommodate a simple request not only left a sour taste in our mouths but also demonstrated a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. As paying customers, we should have the right to enjoy the entirety of what we purchase, especially when it comes to beverages for which we have already paid. The lack of flexibility and understanding exhibited by the staff at playoff] is deeply disappointing and has tarnished my perception of your establishment. It is evident that customer service is not a priority for your team, and I am appalled by the level of disrespect shown towards patrons. I had previously enjoyed dining at playoff ], but after this experience, I will not be, nor will I recommend your establishment to friends and family. It had great music and Atmosphere but the fact that they advertise closing at 4 AM on a Friday and they close at 12:30 am and then let me order a drink at 12 and tell me I can't take it to go. It's crazy to me the service could've been better and I honestly wouldn't come to this place again. Only, to get to the door and be treated poorly by staff (security) AND when inside we were told that there was an event going on and that no dinner was being served. As someone who has a degree in Hospitality Management I would expect to be addressed like a human being. As soon as my friend and I arrived to Playoff Lounge on New Year's Eve we were greeted with an attitude from grown men. Particularly the head of the security, short, hispanic, dark skinned, dark blue trench coat, and weird haircut doesn't greet us and ask us for ID. My friend did not physically have an ID but had other forms of identification. In addition we purchased tickets in advance. Regardless rules are rules and I understand that however the delivery of the message was disgusting. His attitude was feminine like. This place will never get my money again. Word of mouth is real and I'm disgusted and feel disrespected. The conversation went like " NO ID, WE NOT TAKING PICTURES" and I knew the security guard Zack. So I told Zack " what's up with him" and he came in my face and was like "The only reason I'm even considering your story is because you know Zack." To which I replied "As you should consider it, we already bought tickets." He was like " Sorry don't know what to tell you." His volume was at a 100 like relax and smile a little. read more

The drinks here are really good and the music is amazing, but the service is lacking and so is the club culture. I'm not from NY so I'm not really used to nightlife here. This is from an outsider's perspective. So let's get into it. Drinks: The drinks and hookah are phenomenal here! The drinks are super inexpensive depending on what you get. I got about three or four henny cokes for $15 each throughout the night and had the perfect buzz. The hookah was pulling nicely and lasted a long time. Both the bartender and hookah man were super nice and accommodating. I would come back just for them. Club culture: This is definitely a place where you NEED to buy a section because they don't have seats and they don't have a dance floor. This was our first time here, so my friends and I didn't buy a section. We definitely will if we decide to come back. Anyway, I'm not from NY, so I'm used to open floors and people dancing together. Here, there's no way to really intermingle. So people just dance in their sections or dance at the bar; however there's not much dancing. It's really just vibes lol. But I get it; clubs like this make more money off bottle service than dancing. Also, bring cash! Their ATM was not working so I had to go to the Citi Bank next door to get money out to pay for cover and hookah. Service: The security was definitely on one when we first arrived. They were very rude and condescending. It was as if they got off on being authoritative. Ladies get in free before midnight on some nights, so we got there around 11:45pm. There was a line so we did not get inside until a little past midnight, so we had to pay a cover. That was fine though, we know to get there earlier if go next time. They also have a dress code, which means women have to wear heels. The security shined a flashlight on all of the women's feet in the line to make sure we were wearing heels before entering the club. However, I noticed some of the women in the club there were wearing sneakers, which was annoying because I wouldn't have worn heels. By the end of the night, my feet were hurting from so I went to the bathroom. I rested my feet for about 5 minutes in a stall and as soon as I came out, the bathroom lady chastised me in front of other women in the bathroom. Like damn, I just needed a small break lol. I just know that next time, I'll wear something a bit more comfortable because she was really doing the most. Overall, my experience was okay. Now that I know what to expect here, I definitely know what to do moving forward. read more

This is the first time I go to Playoffs. I have only but good things to say about this place. From the music, to the ambiance and so on. The moment I arrived, I was treated with the upmost respect from the hostess. The promoters did an amazing job with setting me up with this place. This place is nice for a game night. The ambiance and decor is dope with all the sports jerseys hanging on the wall. Big open space. A lot of TVs and a huge projector screen. What I didn't like was I came here for NBA playoff game and they didn't have the actual game sound playing. They had a DJ with crazy loud music playing. Felt more like a club with sports on the TVS. I only ordered buffalo wings and Camarones Al ahi jo. We forgot to take pictures but the Buffalo wing sauce was thick and pasty. The shrimp was so salty we couldn't even eat it. I have been visiting this place since before it was Playoffs. I have set up large brunch parties. The food is good. The music and the entertainment team do a great job at keeping brunch fun. However, the service was horrible this past weekend. We waited for our food, orders were wrong and there was much chaos when ordering. On Friday July 7th, my husband and I decided to go out for a drinks and bite. We went to Playoff Lounge an afterwork spot in The Bronx where we all live, for game night and happy hour. We are familiar with the atmosphere and where the music is great, and the food is delicious. But on this night our waitress was rude, arrogant, and gave us a lot of attitude. I believe her name was Leiniemar.She made us wait more than 20 minutes after that we were seated to take the food and drinks order. After other 20 minutes she brought us our drinks. An hour later after being seated we finally received our food. Not once did our server come by our table to ask if we wanted to order more drinks. My husband had to go to bar to get our drinks that also took a long time, there was only on bartender. The music was good, and the games were cool. Not sure if we will go back but we will make sure that we get another server, she really messed up our Friday vibe. read more
