We came to the new Plaza Azteca in Greensburg with another couple. It is really close to Westmoreland Mall and is in the location of a former steak house. The atmosphere is great. New, clean, and modern. We were seating fairly quickly. The seats were comfy and the service was really good. My wife had the barria tacos (which she knew she liked from another location. She enjoyed them immensely. I decided on seafood enchiladas. They were pretty decent. They were small and I was not full after our meal.

Stopped in for a quick bite on my way to meet friends. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short. I sat at the bar, but it took an unusually long time before another server finally took my order. Cleanliness was the biggest concern. The first salsa dish I was given was dirty, and both of the food plates also appeared to be unclean. While the food was just okay, it wasn't enough to make up for the service and sanitation issues. The most concerning moment was watching the bartender handle trash and then continue preparing drinks without washing their hands. That raised serious concerns about food safety. Unfortunately, between the dirty dishes, slow service, and hygiene concerns, I won't be returning.

This is a much anticipated and needed spot in the area! The restaurant is elevated and has a warm and modern vibe. The food was excellent and the drinks are delicious. The coconut margarita was my favorite. Chips and salsa are included...as they should be. The service was good, everyone is working hard to make the experience top notch. My only complaint is that our food didn't come out hot. It was the opening weekend, so I'm sure they are still working out some kinks. We've already been there twice and will be back again soon!

There is a nice parking lot behind the building that is covered and ample on street parking. Stepping in through the front doors, we were greeted by a lovely hostess who was very friendly, seating us almost immediately. The dining room and outside seating looked very intimate and cozy, but we sat in the lounge with the bar which is more our vibe. The seats were comfy and service prompt and friendly. We order the calamari and dang was it good! Large portion and full of flavor! Definitely recommend! Next we each got salads; standard salad with the recommend creamy dressing (forgot the name) by the waitress and a Cesar salad, both were large for side salads and full of flavor. Finally, my wife got the filet medium well and I got the snapper. Yes, anything over medium may be butterflied but hers was not and she loved it! My red snapper was good but the spices were slightly over powering. Cocktails were on point; espresso martini for the wife which was very creamy and an old fashion for me. The atmosphere was cozy and moody for a Friday night and will definitely be back.

Our waitress was super great and gave us some ideas on what to order since it was our first visit. Ended up getting the Good Burger and a side of their spaghetti with marinara. The burger fixins were similar to the Golden Arch namesake double burger but soooooo much more meat. It was so ridiculously huge with two patties of burger stacked an inch plus thick that I took one burger off to eat later. The burger with pickles and sauce were just right and plenty of diced tomatoes and lettuce offered some respite from the meat extravaganza. It was a good burger for sure. The marinara on the spaghetti is a little watery but absolutely delicious. I really liked the flavors. This is a nice local place with tons of PA beers on tap. We'll be back at dinner sometime to try those.

But if it were just me and the hubby looking for some really good food, we'd definitely be back!

The inside is a large, long space with plenty of seating. Your best deals are if you go during lunch hours when they have special pricing. Especially if you want to try out this type of meal but aren't sure if you are going to like it or not. They have a standard seafood boil menu. You can order your choice of seafood (or do the combos), choose your seasoning and your spice level. If someone in your party doesn't like boils, they also have a variety of fried items on their menu as well. There is also a full bar with a wide variety of drink options. I really enjoyed my meals here. I felt like it was a perfect amount of food and everything was packed with flavor. Skip the desserts, though. If you want something sweet, go somewhere else after. Their desserts are just made by someone else and defrosted to order. A fun place to experience a different type of meal. Definitely recommend.

However, on a Sunday night when it is only the second place in the area that is open prior to a show at The Palace Theatre, if the aforementioned things do not bother you and you're just looking for a quick bite and a drink, then this is a place for you. From the outside, if you're not a local, it looks like one of those places you might be afraid to open the door to ... but do not be deterred. Inside it is a little dark and obviously it'll be smoky if people are smoking (thankfully they were not the night that I stopped in), but everyone was friendly. And actually they had more things on the finger food menu than I anticipated, albeit your classic bar finger foods like pepperoni rolls, provolone sticks & what I ordered-fish & chips. And honestly, the fish and chips were a lot better than I expected them to be, it was a very large piece of fried fish, and it was not too greasy and a nice side of steak fries. Their cocktail sauce was more like a Sriracha mayo type cocktail sauce, but I actually preferred that to the traditional and I got some tartar sauce on the side as well. I did feel bad for the female bartender, because she was staffing the entire place, which not only included the bar, but the tables, and it was very hard for her to keep up. Obviously management failed to realize that there was a sold out show at the theater on Sunday night and that hardly any other places were open Sunday night. I had 3 Tito's & sodas and the fish & chips & my tab was only $24. I left a generous tip because I felt bad for the bartender. I would definitely stop in again especially if I was just gonna grab a pre-show drink. Oh & the music was great too. Reminded me of a true late 70's-80's bar.
