Visiting family in northern Maryland, they knew we enjoyed Mexican food so they brought us here. Plus two nieces were taking advantage of the free Line Dance lessons held in the basement of the restaurant. We watched all the dancers and agreed we could never remember all the steps if we tried After a bit we went upstairs into the restaurant. Wow! A real sensory trip into modern Mexico. The place is decorated to the max! Seating was arranged into booths around the perimeter and tables within, with very comfy padded seats and ease of moving about. We were seated immediately, given menus, chips and salsa, and even a small dish of queso blanco - which is always extra elsewhere. We ordered Table-side Guacamole and were treated to a show and delicious Guac. I asked for, and was brought, a dish of hot salsa that was tasty and with a good amount of heat. Sis-in-law chose the Sonora Pollo, my wife picked the Burrito Fajitas, and bro-in-law went for the Quesdilla Rellenos. Trying to stay more vegan minded I selected the Quesdilla Sonoras. Oh, and I asked about Tamales and ordered one, even though not on the menu. Our food came shortly, piping hot and delicious. I looked at my Tamale and had to try it first. Yum! It was the best Tamale I've eaten since a trip to Texas 30 years ago! The perfect ratio of meat and masa. In retrospect I would have just ordered three Tamales and a side of Frijoles! My Enchilidas was excellent also and half taken home. Food was superb, service immaculate, ambiance terrific. Five stars around.

My first time here. Food was very good. I had the Enchiladas Carnitas and it was very good. We had the Guacamole made table side and it was creamy and delicious. I did think my house margarita was a little on the sweet side. Service was excellent and I really like the atmosphere. I would recommend the place to friends.

This place was amazing!! We stopped in on a Wednesday for lunch. First off..the decor is great. Love all the greenery. We were greeted by such a friendly host. Our lunch came out maybe 5 mins after ordering it. Margaritas were delicious. I could go on and on about the Birria Tacos. I'm still drooling thinking about them. Stuffed with meat..not skimpy at all. Trust me...check this place out.

I love visiting the Plaza Azteca chains while traveling! What I like about them is the amazing food, stunning dining rooms, and pleasant staff. This location was no different. The spot was clean and cute. The food was cheesy and fresh! Our waiter was super cool and very helpful! Definitely a great visit!

This was a fun overall experience. My entire family enjoyed their meals however some parts were stronger than others. First, the customer service was wonderful. My daughter (age 4) spilled her drink and they instantly switched us tables and replaced the drink graciously and said "kids make mistakes! No problem). The manager came over after To check on us. We came for lunch and the lunch portions were enormous. My steak fajita was very flavorful and the Mexican rice was fluffy although it needed some salt. I wasn't a big fan of the refried beans because they were a bit bland. My wife had a chicken quesadilla which had fantastic flavor however it more closely resembles a grilled taco because it wasn't really grilled shut. However the flavor was great. I also got a side of guacamole that was super tasty. The kids meals were good. The chicken fingers were good enough for my daughter but a big forgettable. My son's tacos were great and he loved them. We were celebrating my mother in law's bday and even they even surprised us with a complementary fried ice cream which was shockingly delicious. Overall, a fun experience.

**VEGAN REVIEW ** This is the best Mexican meal we've had at any restaurant. The service was fast, prices were good because we'll get two meals out of our serving, and having vegan meals on the menu made this a very pleasurable experience. As a vegan, I hate having to ask the staff to leave items off a menu item in order to make it vegan. I didn't have to do that here. There were menu items already made for a vegan diet. Thank you!

First off Ashlea our server was phenomenal!!! Great recommendation on the drinks and the food. What fast service, we got our food nice a piping hot not soon after we ordered. The portions are huge and the Burrito with Carnitas were so, so tasty. The enchiladas chipotle were tasty and filling. We will definitely be back!!!

I was excited to try this new Plaza Azteca location; considering the York location is phenomenal. The bartender cut corners making drinks and even admitted to us that she didn't have time to make the drinks properly. Quote " sorry guys, I'm cutting corners because I'm busy." The kitchen staff couldn't answer any questions pertaining to food allergies. Our food was served and we had to wait approximately 10 min before even getting silverware to eat our meals. We sat at the bar with empty drinks for an extended period of time. The quality of margaritas was below standards. The food was bland, and even the house hot sauce was bland. A side note, the frozen drink machines at the bar were so loud and squeaky making it hard to hear bar company. This was an overall very poor experience, and I hope they can progress to Plaza Azteca standards.

The earliest it would allow was 11:45 AM. At around 3 o'clock that afternoon, I called and explained That I needed to pick up the order by 1115 the next day and could I give the order verbally on the phone. The person that answered the phone said yes. I gave him our order which was five sandwiches and salads and told him I would see him tomorrow. His reaction was tomorrow? Yes, I need to pick it up at 11:15 AM tomorrow. I asked if that would be a problem and was told no. I decided to call in the morning to confirm that they had my order and that it would be ready at 11:15. They answered the phone at 11 o'clock and after a few minutes, the hostess said that yes they had the order. I told her I would see her soon. When I got there at 11:15, the order wasn't ready and she did not have anything in her computer so I had to verbally give her the order again so she could ring it up for me. The order was not ready until approximately 11:40 AM. This was 40 minutes after I called to verify that they had the order and then it would be ready and about 20 minutes after I needed it to be ready as my lunch appointment began at 11:30 and I had a 15 minute drive. When the hostess finally gave me our food, I asked if there were utensils inside to which she replied, yes. I got to the office and there were no utensils and my salad had no dressing. Eating lettuce, cucumbers and cabbage without dressing is not very appealing. I enjoyed the chili. It was flavorful and had a good temperature. I will need to eat my salad when I get home and could get some dressing. It looks like a fun restaurant for seafood and craft beers and the bar look like it would be a great place to sit on a Friday night, but I was disappointed in the service I received for the lunch order.

First off, service was dialed in: attentive without hovering, genuinely warm, and paced just right for a relaxed evening. Cocktails ("bespoke") can sometimes feel like an afterthought at places like this, but not here. The La Dulce Vida was excellent--balanced, not overly sweet, and actually worth ordering again (rare). We split the baby beet salad and honestly could've eaten two. Bright, fresh, and one of those dishes that makes you rethink how good something simple can be. Mains: duck à l'orange and steak frites. Both delivered. The duck had that perfect mix of richness and citrus, and the steak was cooked spot-on--though fair warning, it's a serious portion. The frites skip the usual cone presentation, but they're crispy and plentiful, so no real complaints. All in around $200 with tip for two, which felt fair given the quality across the board. This is the kind of place that doesn't try too hard--and gets almost everything right. Would come back.
