I live in Northern Virginia and I'm just down here for a couple weeks to help out with a project. My family brought me in here and I have to say the food was really good. What stood out the most was the server Marcella was very attentive to our table. When she came to our table, she spoke eloquently and professionally. The atmosphere was pretty cool because we were watching FIFA and it was pretty exciting. I wasn't really a fan of the boss though. I went to him after our meal to tell him how great the service was and he had this "I'm too good for you" posture going on about him. We come here yearly for Synergy's Annual Showcase after show celebration. Service is always great and never an issue. They're so accommodating to a large group. We're dancers so you know we like to cut up a lil bit, but always a good time. Never feel rushed! Drinks on point! Good great. read more

Went here for dinner Monday around 5:30 pm. No wait time and the restaurant was pretty empty. Service was quick; immediately offered chips and salsa as well as had our drink orders taken. Not too bad of a wait for our food. Our waitress was very friendly and nice. The atmosphere was comfortable with the dim lighting and music playing in the background. I started with the Watermelon margarita (10/10) it was refreshing and actually decently strong too. For food, I decided to try their Seafood chimichangas (8/10) they come either soft or fried; I chose fried, but because they're smothered with lobster bisque, the tortillas were soggy regardless. Overall, I did enjoy the flavors and the creamy lobster bisque smothering the chimichangas, I just think maybe some spice or cooked peppers were missing. Definitely one of my go to spots for sure. I'll be back soon because they have some new holiday seasonal drinks out and I didn't see the sign until I was leaving, so now I have a reason to go back soon! We decided to have lunch at the outlets after shopping. Guacamole was ordered and made right in front of us. I ordered the Biarria sandwich and my friend ordered the shrimp tacos with rice. The bread was soft and spongy it did not get mushy when dipping in the broth. The food was flavorful and delicious. The music was not too loud. We could talk and listen to the music. Mexican restaurant onsite at Norfolk's outlet mall. Food is just ok, not raveworthy, mostly paying for convenience. Interior flexes lots of faux-grass features to mute the otherwise industrial space; indoor and outdoor seating, eat in or takeout, lunch and dinner menu, along with a full bar with daily drink specials. Wife raved over her raspberry margarita rocks ($9) both in flavor and value. For higher quality in Norfolk, try El Azteca on E Little Creek Rd. For higher value in Norfolk, check out Guads on Granby St on Tuesdays. For higher overall experience in both, I'd highly recommend Hacienda in Chesapeake (near Dicks and Kroger) for food/bev quality, portions sizes, cost, menu diversity, and service. Fajita burritos ($19, 3 stars). Mexican fried rice ($16.50, 2.5 stars) is what was recommended by waitress when asking for Arros con Pollos (aka Pollos Americanos...ie normally fajita chicken and peppers over rice smothered in queso). Again, just ok. Dumped some red salsa on our dishes for more flavor, though our least favorite salsa we've tried in all 757 Mexican spots. A few of us went here for lunch and chose lunch specials. I ordered a chimichanga, rice and beans - all cooked to my specs. I really enjoyed it and the server went the extra mile: fast and friendly service and handled all our requests perfectly. The fancy stoneware made it seem less like dining in a restaurant. As for the ambiance, it was quite dark - a bit more light would be good and the music was so loud - we had to talk loudly to hear each other. We weren't near the bar - but in the dining room. The robotic cart was rather funny - rolled in the dining room by itself to carry the platters for the server. Nothing like using modern means to help the staff! I was a bit apprehensive at first, since the location is in the mall, but I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience as well as food! Great service and the place was packed on a Tuesday evening! This visit was a pleasant surprise. I checked out the reviews before deciding to dine here and was a little hesitant... but I really enjoyed my first dining experience here, Black Friday! This location is located adjacent to the parking lot of the Williamsburg Outlets. One tell tell sign of a good restaurant, when you walk in you can smell the aromas of the dishes... not a stinky smell, but inviting... and this place was definitely that. Our waitress... I knew I would forget her name, but she was an absolute pleasure! Super friendly and very informative. She also helped my decide on what to have for lunch...her choice was phenomenal! I believe the dish was one of the newer options... it featured three meats: shrimp, chicken and steak. I really don't need several meat options, therefore next time, I will try the option with just chicken. The complimentary chips were tasty too... the salsa for dipping was good. I would prefer a little bit more spice, but it was still yummy! I didn't check out any cocktails on this visit, I had the mama with me and we were still out shopping, but I hope to visit again soon to sit and the bar to drink and dine! Now the restroom was tidy, but the paper towel dispenser, hunnnnie... only a 2x10 inch paper towel... that is not wiping anything! This was a drag, so they need to change those settings. Food was delicious but service was lacking. Our server walked by at least 10 times and bussed the table next to us but never came for our order after 45 minutes. We were about to order online and pay for our drinks when the manager walked by to ask us how things were. That's when our server finally came to take our order. The robot is cute. read more

Definitely on the more pricey side. Happy hour was from 3 to 6p. We both ordered one frozen margarita a piece, which were $9 and supposedly, we saved $3 . I just know typically I get more bang for buck, but I'm guessing the overcharge is because they're at the premium outlet. You'd think going to the outlets on a Friday night just to eat would be crazy...so call us crazy! Very surprisingly, there was never a Friday night wait even on nights it was cold so most were seated inside. Delicious food with amazing queso, salsa, & chips. My go to order has been the shrimp fried rice. I did try the veggie burritos, one having spinach in it and it was a no for me. After eating multiple adult serving sizes of the chips, I typically have leftovers from my meal plus they give you a decent amount of food. For the most part we had pretty good waiters though one was the least bit attentive. We even celebrated a birthday here and they really surprised (scared) is when they came out. If there's one thing you take from this review, it's to beware of the margaritas...in a great way! Do not, I repeat, do not under estimate the strength of a margarita from here! I'm unsure of the days, but on Fridays happy hour for regular margaritas ends at 530 or 6 so of course I tried to get in as much as I could fit in. Keywords: I tried. Margarita: 2 Ashlee: 0. Overall this place wasn't too bad. It's convenient because it's part of the outlet mall, and leagues better than the food court. I was seated quickly by a hostess and my table was clean. Nice cool air conditioning!! They also have tables outside, but even with the umbrellas the shade is skimpy out there. My waitress was ok. I asked her what a drink picture was on the margarita menu, and she told me which it was. I questioned her because the one I pointed out had grapefruit slices, and the one she said it was didn't mention grapefruit at all. I ended up ordering a passion fruit house margarita, which was sweet and yummy. Their house red salsa is extremely boring. It was not spicy at all and it was so tomato-y it was nearly pizza sauce. I ordered the grilled chicken tacos, they come with corn tortillas. Mine immediately broke when I picked them up, that's why most places use better quality tortillas or double up. I ended up dumping my tacos on the plate and mixing up a pile with the rice and beans. It was good, but nothing brilliant. Waitress was nice enough, but busy with lots of tables. This place is great to relax in the AC and have a drink while shopping, food and service is OK. Also, we all know the rules now.
