Fajitas! So so good
Evelyn D.

I really enjoyed the ambiance here! Servers were really attentive! I got the lunch order or fajitas and was surprised by the amount of food for the price! It was all really tasty also!

Surprised after it had been a while they remodeled a bit with cute booths, new lighting highlighting the updates, and a new sombrero ceiling. Looks great! The fresh guacamole tastes great and served in a really cool way. They also provide the white sauce and salsa with chips if you ask. My husband ordered a steak which tasted really good. I had the brisket tacos and roasted avocado with Picodegallo. We also had the burger that was filling and made perfectly. Everything tasted great. Service is pretty prompt and seated right away. Never had an issue with the service.

Nice find! Carne asada at most places is thin, this place offered a thicker cut. It was well seasoned and the portion sizes were great. The chips and salsa was good. Not overly chunky or spicy. And it came out fairly quickly. We did have to flag someone down to get more salsa, but once we did, they brought another bowl right out. They don't have any beer on tap, which is a bit of a disappointment. But it's a solid place. I look forward to going back.

This is the paper bag of chips provided. It's tiny.

I am a local. I frequent ElTaco Loco on a regular basis, however the service is just going down hill. They have stopped serving the white sauce unless you ask about 3 times for it. Last night my husband went in to get chips and salsa with white sauce to go. The larges sauces are $10 each, throw in some taxes and a "to go" fee for a total of about $25. So decent sizes sauces... and then a tiny bag of chips (tiny .. because the chips are "free" with the sauces). This is a new cut back. Normally the bag size is decent, but this chip bag size is ridiculous. I am attaching a pic. So I said something to the man working there. That the chips are not enough.. not what they normally do. He argues with me. He tells me that is the size they use. He then goes to the back to the kitchen and I think he is gonna make it right by giving me more chips to eat with my large sauces. He comes back with another bag of large red sauce , large white sauce and a tiny bag of chips and tells me it will be $25. Hahaha. No thank you El Taco Loco. You are Loco alright. You can't increase prices and give less and expect your regulars to keep coming back. Time to find a new Mexican place.

I guess it's been awhile since my 1st review and there have been some changes. They did a remodel and have these super cute private booths all decorated with lights and pillows. Loved it!! I am not sure if it's new management but things were definitely different. We got off to a rough start with service. The server didn't seem very friendly but in her defense I was watching things and it seemed like she was the only employee in the building other than the cooks. She sat me, waited on me and made my drinks. It seems that other servers showed up about 30 minutes after I got there. They do have a HH. I believe until 6 and it's on Margaritas only. We ordered the queso and we each only got 1 taco. The queso was good. So was the chips and salsa. The salsa had lots of flavor and tasted fresh. My fish taco was packed full of fish. They did not skimp. And it was very good. Ana was our waitress and she was so damn friendly. She was so nice, asked us if we wanted more chips, checked on us and all with a smile and great attitude. I didn't see the big bowls that they used for table side guac. The place definitely felt different than it did years ago. But I would definitely go back - I loved the booths and all the sombreros on the ceilings and walls.

The phone number is wrong. Can't find the right number anywhere. The lady who answered was a bit rude about it.

The service is so bad. Very inattentive and slow. Food tastes like your standard Mexican spot. Nothing impressive about El Taco Loco.

Here's the deal: Jessy's is located in a small shopping strip. While the building is a little older I did not think l it run down or in a part of town that I would consider questionable at all. I saw at least one review that noted this- could not disagree more., nothing to fear here. Plenty of parking and it's free! Once inside the restaurant is medium sized with seating for at least 15 parties and tables that can accommodative larger parties, 10+ people. There are two order stations at either side of the restaurant - one for hot food the other for ice cream and desserts. Service was friendly and attentive. You can choose to self order for takeout or be waited on. While staff wait on and bring you food and drink, pay is self pay at the food order counter. The menu is larger and has something for everyone. Proteins are optional for nearly every dish. The food here is authentic with lots of protections including some of my favorites- Al pastor and chicken tinga. Chips and salsa are scratch made and fresh- very good. We had street tacos which were very flavorful and also scratch cooked including the corn tortillas. Served with traditional hot sauces to add that little extra heat- awesome. The Al pastor was not grilled to get that char that some Al pastor dishes have but was otherwise spot on. Chicken tinga was perfect. If you are looking for authentic Mexican at reasonable prices, this is your place and absolutely worth a few minutes drive over. Hope to see you there sometime- happy eating!

Happy hour was 3-6pm I think, and there were 2 taco specials on the board. I'm not sure if it was valid or not.. There was one person at the bar taking orders, serving drinks, and pretty much running the place. She was very busy. The anxiety of watching her try to handle everything made me a little uncomfortable. She was doing her best, and kuddos to her for not flipping a table and walking out. She was nice, but she asked us every 3-4 minutes if we knew what we were ordering. It was very aggravating. I don't think she realized after several times we were over it. The inside is pretty much a bar setting with a few booths. It's very dated and low-key kind of gloomy inside. I'd say this is a bar for locals, not really a restaurant. It's definitely the kind of food you could eat if you had a few drinks, maybe. But sober, heck no!! Lol. Ugh. I was excited to try them because they have some 5 star reviews, but it wasn't what I expected. When it was time to eat she went and got the cook from outside. We ordered 2 burgers and fries, and chicken nachos. We left and came back to pick up our order and the seats at the bar was packed at this point. The waitress met us as we walked in, with our food. I was hungry, so I tried the food in the car. The burger was definitely a frozen patty and thick as heck. It looked decent kinda sorta, in a way, maybe, just a little bit. Idk what to say. The fries were crispy but awkwardly greasy!! There was one tiny tomato on my burger and a huge onion that was a little moldy. I've never seen someone use a slice of onion this big on a burger. The burger definitely needed seasoning. I think if it had flavor it would have been decent. I'll give the burger a 4/10. My sister got the chicken nachos and she was not happy. Whatever mystery beans they had made were disgusting. They tasted old or something was off about them. The guacamole was a little sour tasting also, and the chicken was flavorless. She tried so hard to make it work, she even re-cooked the beans and it just didn't help. 2/10!!! She spent $25 and felt it was the worse decision she made all day. I wish I was exaggerating or something, but this is actual factual. The prices are reasonable, I'll say that. But it's definitely certain things to stay away from on the menu. I don't think we'd ever return. Maybe the tacos are better than what we had ordered. If you're looking for a drink maybe things would be better. I think they specialize in drinks over food!?

It's a bar a little dive kinda spot I had ordered the bacon cheeseburger for my boy, the grilled chicken nachos for myself. I can appreciate that they didn't put the toppings on the nachos or burger. My sister has gotten some kind of burger also lol. I get dropped off gave my son his food looks like it's about to be good lol until he heats it up for a second, I put all the fixings on my nachos right. Believing things was about to hit smh nope.. my kid said mom I appreciate you bringing me something to eat home but.... The burger tastes like nothing was like chewing sawdust bacon was the only thing to taste alright, fries were ok though. now lol for my nachos looks can be deceiving. My lettuce was brown and wilted, was supposed to be like a refried beans I guess ‍ they were kidney beans looked those. When i say they smelled like I was taken back by the look of things but when my crazy self tasted that mess my lawdt smh had my stomach doing flips. Also the guacamole tasted like that was old and sour. I have had guac with too much lemon or lime juice in it, this was like past its time only looked ok due to the lemon juice or whatever. Will not be doing that again. The ambiance was chill a few of those slot games bar area in the middle of the place a few tables around it nothing to really hype up. I will say even though we didn't care for what we had, maybe it was a bad day. ‍ Who knows other things may be good if we stop past that beauty store again, I'd go and try the lumpia or fried fish taco. Was told that they taste really good. lol honestly y'all go be the judge for yourselves could have been an off day.

I did get a picture of the reason I came here which was the soft serve margarita. It was pineapple flavored so tasted exactly like a dope whip with alcohol 10/10. Was pretty loud in there with a birthday, multiple large parties and the o all round business of cinco de mayo. There were three birthdays that the crew went over and sang an enthusiastic happy birthday for, so it may be a popular place to host a birthday party (not sure if the shots of tequila were free for the b-day guest). The menu had something for everyone, but was easy to choose from. The tacos and margarita weren't anything crazy (not quite a Cali street taco) but I asked for fresh jalapeños and hot sauce (made in house) and it put the finishing touches on my dinner.
