Very strange experience. I brought a pair of pants in to be hemmed and the guy behind the counter handed me the measuring tape and told me to tell him what the measurement was. I told him I would prefer he measured it and he said no. Very odd. I did not leave my pants there and would never go back. read more

I'd have to agree with all of the other reviews listed here about the horrible customer service. The owner, who is an older lady is so unfriendly! I have tried to small talk with her and she's very on interested in building a customer relationship. She's often very short with both me and my mom. I like the work that they do but it's unfortunate that the customer service is so poor. They could have a good business if she would smile once in a while and try and appreciate the customer base they have. We are finally taking our business somewhere else. I don't mind paying more or driving farther for customer appreciation. read more

All the way around, this was a great place. I took 6 pairs of pants in to get hemmed, and usually I would just drop it off with my measurements and come back to get them. The lady insisted I try on each pair to make sure the measurements would be correct since the fabrics were different. She says that sometimes the way they are made will mess up the hem if not measured correctly. I was really surprised that though she was very busy she still wanted to make sure she would be putting my best interests first. If she hadn't brought it up, I don't know if I would have noticed the difference at first, but after wearing it a few times, I might have noticed the bad alteration job after it was too late. It was done quickly and was priced fairly. $7.00 per pair, not bad. I will DEFINITELY return if I need any other alterations done. read more

They have horrible customer service. Left a suit and they called me a day later to tell me they wouldn't clean the pants because they were burned. When I arrived to pick them up, there was a small shiny mark from an iron. Thats when they said, oh ok, we will clean them. I gave a few more shirts to arrive on the pick up day and them basically tell me I should have read the time on the receipt and that my stuff is not ready. After letting her know, that wasn't told to me, she responded with, you should have read the receipt. I will never bring my clothes here again. read more

So if you take clothing here be warned ...They make a habit of " donating " your items . I even have a phone message I just received that says to come get it BUT as soon as I question them on why I was told this gone...The story changed ! DO NOT TRUST!!! We have gone here twice now. We dropped off my husbands uniform a few days ago and they gave us a receipt with the total and when to pick up. 20 minutes before our pick up time and date I get a call that it is not ready and they need more time so we say OK and pick it up hours later. When I went to pick it up they had up charge me six dollars because they said it was a rushed order. When we dropped the uniform off we were not told of this up charge and they even wrote the total on our receipt. The lady in charge would not honor the total on the receipt because she said the lady working on that day was new. She also informed me that the other time We had come in that we were also charged extra which we were not told of that charge as well. I will never go back to this place. The lady in charge was very rude and did not seem to care about her customers. I would not trust this place!!!! read more

TERRIBLE customer service. The older woman, the owner is very unfriendly. It is sad because they did a great job on my clothes but the service was mediocre. When I went to pick up my clothes I was told that I had to come back at a later time. The woman told me to come back at 4 o'clock and when I returned they were closed!! The next day I returned and expressed what an inconvenience it was to make multiple trips to pick up my items when they were supposed to be ready. She didn't care. All I needed was some pants rehemmed and a couple holes mended. This couple has their teenage daughter running the front who doesn't have a clue what she's doing. I felt uncomfortable telling her what I wanted because I didn't think she was going to help me with what I needed. Sure enough after 30 seconds of confusion, she goes back to her dad to tell him I needed help so I don't know why he didn't just help me in the first place. After retelling all the things I needed all over again, he kept insisting that the holes will need patches and cannot be simply sewed back up (I'm still not convinced this was necessary). When I got the pants back, I looked on the back where the holes were. They had patches used that didn't even match close to the same color or material the pants were. They had their nerve to charge me $16 for those patches! The patches literally looked like they just grabbed them from some fabric bag of scraps and they were very small pieces. If I were running the store I would've given those "patches" for free and just charged the customer for a ltitle bit of sewing. And to top it off the stitching was terrible! Even I could have done a better job doing it by hand! Becase the material is so ridiculously thick it's uncomfortable to sit on these pants; the holes were in the seat. They hemmed the bottom of the pants way too high so now the pants are a little highwatered. They charged me $8 for that too! I can't believe doing this little bit of work took them 6 days! If I had spend $24 I could've just bought a new pair! I feel stupid for taking them back. $24 was absolutely ridiculous! I don't know why that other reviewer lady thinks the world of these people but these mexicans are major scammers! Don't take you things there! I had a coupon/voucher (2 items 7.45 value) for plaza cleaners my husband spent $22.50 to have his pants hemmed and two items dry-cleaned they would not honor the free dry clean coupon for their own business. They claim it was a misprint that someone forgot to print the spend $25 or more on the voucher ... well too bad they should still honor the coupon or give us some kind of discount instead the lady was rude. This is by far the worst dry cleaners I have ever been too and I dry clean weekly. I just moved to the area and am still trying to find a good one in the city, I have still had no luck but this place was the worst!! I drop off and need the clothes with a quick turn around time and although this place states they offer same day cleaning they fail to mention that they charge you whatever they feel like in order to do so. I went to this place three times and each time I went I paid a different price. The owner (female) stated they even charge extra for a 2 day turn around, which at every other Cleaners I have ever been to, is standard practice. When I asked her about it she did not care at all, she stated that's their policy, when I commented to her that they must not care about or need business; she stated, "as you can see were pretty busy". To own a business and be that rude to your customers is unacceptable. Avoid this place! They do not deserve to be in business. read more

I had gone to this Menifee cleaners once for another alteration job and they did the job correctly so I went back with another pair of expensive jeans to have shortened. They did not have the work done at the promised time. I showed up a half hour before the deadline as many other cleaners had the work done that close to the deadline. They asked me to wait and so I did as I didn't want to come back. I inspected the work and noticed there were other stitch marks on the hem so I asked about it and was told they had previously sewn it and torn that thread out! The woman re-hemmed the pants to my specifications but again I noticed errors and asked about it. She rushed to the back and got with another guy and from where I stood they appeared to be pressing the error. The woman brought the pants out but I told her while I would pay her I would not return in the future. In conclusion, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE for something as significant as alterations that cannot be redone! I will be going back to another place in the area. read more

I had a terrible first and ONLY experience with Plaza cleaners. I should have read the poor reviews prior to taking my clothing there. I took a fancy sequin dress to be cleaned. When my husband went to pick it up, the owner Reina was rushing my husband out. He immediately noticed that she gave him the wrong item! He called me to confirm and sure enough, she gave my dress to another customer. I never knew that this could happen. Clearly unprofessional. The woman, Reina managed to get my dress back and charged me every penny for the cleaning despite the inconvenience and her huge mistake. She gave me an attitude when I told her that it was an inconvenience that my husband and I went to the business twice. I told her that I would not be a returning customer and that I would be writing a bad yelp review. The owner could care less and still had the audacity to sarcastically tell me to "have a good day." read more

I wish I would have known what others were saying about this business before I brought my very expensive dress here to be cleaned. I went to pick up my gown from this cleaners and was informed that since I was late they "donated" my $300 nursing dedication gown. They never once called me to say the garment was ready for pick up or that if I didn't pick it up it would be donated. The lady tried telling me that they called my cell phone which was a complete lie. I asked her what day they called and she said she didn't know and that my voicemail was probably full (my voicemail has never been full). I feel like this is something they do regularly to clients especially with more expensive items to possibly make extra money. There is no way they would have "donated" this gown. I was beyond upset because this dress was for a specific event that was very important and I had searched for months for this dress. She never apologized only pointed out that on the receipt they are allowed to discard items if customers don't pick them up by a specific date. She was beyond unprofessional or compassionate at all.
