    Plaza Premium Lounge - interior

Make the airport wait a little more enjoyable. Plaza Premium Lounge is a popular lounge that we find to be typically packed with guests throughout the day. We visited before 7:30pm closing time and were able to have hot food along with salad, soup, coffee and dessert. Complimentary beverages and alcohol includes rum which you can make into rum & coke at the pop machine. On the positive, the service here is still quite attentive, frequently coming by to pickup used plates. However, this lounge shows signs of its age with many dirty stains on the seats as well as visible cereal crumbs jammed within the gaps of the seats. I think a refresh would be warranted given the constant use of these packed seats! Skip it or hit it? It's hard to go back to waiting at the gate after experiencing a lounge.

We stayed for little less than a couple of hours before our international flight. The check-in was quick and it was busy but not crowded. People were constantly checking in and checking out. The inside was clean and staff worked constantly to pick up dishes and clean up. The staff were courteous. The wi-fi was a bit patchy where we were sitting near the kids play area. The seats were comfortable and we were ok after sitting for sometime. The food was OK and we wish there were more choices for vegans/vegetarians or even more food choices period for all. The limited choices we had were good. We didn't see any dairy free choices in coffee.

Breakfast at Plaza Premium Lounge at Vancouver airport. Nasty!

Travel Food Reality Check On my recent trip through Vancouver International Airport, I stopped by the Plaza Premium Lounge for breakfast. Let's just say... it was memorable--but not for the right reasons. Pancakes that were oddly chewy Sausages that tasted more like shredded cardboard than meat Coffee so acidic it felt like a science experiment Scrambled eggs that somehow didn't taste like eggs at all In sharp contrast, the WestJet business class breakfast I had onboard was a world apart--fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. A reminder that sometimes the in-flight meal actually beats the lounge offering. Airports and airlines put a lot into branding the "premium" experience, but at the end of the day, the food tells the real story. Has anyone else noticed this mismatch between lounges and onboard meals? #TravelLife #AirportLounge #WestJet #BusinessClass #CustomerExperience #TravelTips

Nice staff and very good food. Alcohol wine coffee and sodas. Non veg and veg entree options.

It was super busy when we got to T3 Plaza Premium Lounge at around noon-ish on a weekend. It is a smaller lounge compared to other airport lounges. Check-in was very simple: If you are an Amex Platinum member, member + 2 guests will have complimentary access at this lounge. If you are a Priority Pass holder, will get you another complimentary access at this lounge. You can also pay ~$50+pp if you are none of the above, and get access for 2-3 hours for some good food, drinks and snacks. This airport lounge is located at T3, right after you exit TSA, pass the tax-free stuff, and take a right to the elevators (2nd floor). The lounge looks a bit dated, and some of the chairs do have stains on them #有啲唔係好開胃. Luckily, the service makes up for it, the food and snacks were good (always filled up), and thank goodness for unlimited alcohol drinks :)

I typically try to go to the Plaza Premium Lounge before a flight out of Toronto, though I often find myself signing in and waiting until I am notified that I could come back in due to so many people already in the lounge. This time, they asked when my flight was, and as it was only an hour away, they let my guest and me into the lounge. I am often asked if I want to check in with the Priority Pass or American Express Platinum card, so I have used both to check in, though I've figured out that my AMEX is probably easier to gain access with. While there are other Plaza Premium Lounges, this is the Terminal 3 Trans-USA lounge right after customs/security and duty-free shop. It is right next to the Admirals Club. While it was busy, there were still some seats available. The bathroom usually has a line, and the seating area often needs some cleaning, but the food is very good. Though, my guest couldn't eat most of the available food, so I enjoyed a meal while she asked to leave the lounge and go elsewhere. There are multiple meat and other hot dishes available, salad, pasta, vegetables, soda, juices, desserts, and more. I haven't actually tried to get alcohol at this lounge, though I would anticipate some is free and others may have an up-charge. There was fast WiFi, charging ports and power outlets, and other resources available. This was smaller than most other lounges I have visited while traveling. According to their website (https://www.plazapremiumlounge.com/en-uk), the Plaza Premium Group has a mission of "making travel better" as they have an international footprint of over 250+ locations, 80+ International Airports, and 30+ countries and regions. The Plaza Premium Group accepts guests flying with any airline or class. Compatible cards and programs include the American Express Platinum card, the Priority Pass program, and various other programs. I use the American Express Platinum card to access the Plaza Premium Lounge. Again, I wonder if it would differ as to how quickly I could access the lounge if I use a different method of entry. Either way, a decent lounge with good food, and plenty of opportunities to improve (though I can see them making some changes in the future).

This is one of the smallest, grossest lounges I've ever visited anywhere in the world. Some of the breakfast food was cold and in general, could not reach the low bar of a select-service hotel breakfast buffet in the States. Some of the seating was so damaged and worn as to be rendered unusable for most - just distrusting. The majority of the seating were chairs as shown my photo. I would rather eat and wait outside of this lounge, than inside.

Like the rest of Pearson this Lounge is certainly not "premium," as a matter it is quite mediocre from the lengthy waits and dull food to overcrowded seating and a loud atmosphere created by too many children. Coffee is basic, soda comes from Pepsi and liquor is low-shelf and limited. Kudos to better wifi that Pearson's free version and I guess the Butter Tarts.

Yelp Review 2023 #14: Located by the Air Canada gates, this lounge in Toronto Pearson International Airport was ridiculously busy when I went. An employee already put the "LOUNGE FULL" sign but there were still people trying to get in and ignored the sign that did get in! There's no crowd control whatsoever. There was nowhere to sit and if you're with other people, you have to settle for any seat as soon as it becomes available. The dining area was also packed and there was only a little bit of food left and I had to wait quite a bit for a fresh batch of food. Once we found seats, we had to take turns getting food. The food selections include: chicken adobo, basmati rice, roast beef with gravy, pasta with Rose' sauce, cream of broccoli soup, brownies, some snacks and desserts. You can get water, soda, juice, tea, wine, spirits, and beer. I tried the adobo, rice, pasta, soup, and roast beef. The adobo was really sweet and tasted more like paksiw. The rice was really dry. The roast beef was tender and tasted ok. The pasta was plain and was on the bland side but if you eat it with the roast beef then, it's quite better. I like cream of broccoli soup but not this place's version. They also ran out of tall drinking glasses so, I had to use a tiny glass and make frequent trips for refills My lounge access allows me to use the shower facilities. However, that too was crazy busy and I had to wait an hour. They gave me a towel and they put a basket of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They kept the facilities clean. There's a sink, and a blow dryer a few feet away from the shower. I was mainly concerned about eating, relaxing, and taking a shower. Only the shower part was a good experience.

A picture speaks 1,000 words...so here's several thousand word for you. Black mold, stained furniture, ripped seating "repaired" with what looked like duct tape. What a total rip off. Never again! Would leave ZERO stars if possible. Don't even get me started about the "premium food"...

The wait was about 20 minutes, which was reasonable. However, once inside, it was difficult to find a seat due to how packed it was. The hot food selection was very disappointing, and I honestly can't believe people pay $$$ for this level of service. The offerings included frozen basa fillet in a coconut-based sauce, overcooked chow mein, mayo-heavy coleslaw, and frozen chicken dumplings--overall worse than a decent food court meal, or even an average airplane meal. I understand that a domestic lounge may cater to short-stay travelers, but since international passengers are also being accommodated here, there should be a wider variety and better quality of hot food options.

Lounging is better than waiting at the gate…read more Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge is a Star Alliance lounge where eligible passengers can wait for their flights up to 3 hours ahead of departure. The lounge has multiple seating areas as well as a small buffet station, several drink stations, a TV seating area and showers for those looking to refresh ahead of connecting flights. Food selection included just a few pasta choices, grilled chicken, salad and soup along with some cookies and cake. Nothing special. For drinks, there were a variety of alcohols, some juices and pop. It's a place where many passengers grabbed a small bite before their flights. The staff were slow at taking away used plates. For seating, many passengers gathered around the lounge area that was showing the ball game. However many seats were directed perpendicular to the TV screen, especially those few with charging stations or receptacles to recharge. This lounge feels somewhat dated and became fairly crowded later in the afternoon. Skip it or hit it? Relax here pre-flight if you already have access but don't go out of your way to pay for the cafeteria grade food otherwise.

The frustration is that I couldn't use it- because I didn't have a domestic flight. I just wish these details were actually listed on the app for use restrictions. Give the closed plaza lounge in the international- one would hope Air Canada would be understanding that denying me now means I have no ability to go to ANY lounge.

I was also half dead with a cold and trying my best to hide it so they'd let me through the gates. First thing I noticed was that sleek, shiny, lounge-y atmosphere. Damn, this place looks like a hotel and was beautiful. Small, but with shiny wooden decor and large windows that looked out onto the runway. Off to one corner was a discreet area for a shower. This must be where the frequent flying elite brush up. I sat at one of the comfortable seats and just stared outside until I had to go. Blissful. One of the main benefits of the lounge is of course, free food and refreshments. I'm guessing they rotate through different international fare. That day, I was only up for something soupy because I was sick. Luckily for me, they had laksa noodles. Even more luckily for me, I found it very tasty. Sipping away at my laksa and unlimited earl grey tea certainly helped put me to sleep for 8 hours straight on the plane ride afterwards. Yes, there were more people than I thought there would be. Yes, there were a surprising amount of families and kids. But this isn't some 18+, extra exclusive lounge. If I have my family with me and earned/paid my way into the lounge, what am I gonna do?
