I went on 3/30/26. I left my honda accord at the shop from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. I went in for tire rotation and alignment. I was their diagnostic machine indicates transmission problem. My cat was making a whirling sound. So, I took my Honda to dealership where I am told, I need two new tires- sound gone, and recommend an alignment How did the tire shop miss it, i don't know. .. Yes, I called and talked the to Mark, who said I should have brought it back. You misdiagnosed my car and bring it back. Had Multiple issues on June 11th 2026. Seriously the worst service I have ever received. For starters they linked the car to the wrong account. I have used plaza countless times and have my own name and account but they linked it to the previous car owner. Second I scheduled an appointment online. When I arrived at 8am I told the employees my name and that I scheduled an appointment through the website I was told that those appointments don't mean anything and that there are 4 people ahead of me. I was told they would get my car back in 45min. Over 2 HOURS LATER at 10:48am they give me a call stating I need new front brakes so I agree to the additional service. At 2:51 pm I call to check on the status of my car and they tell me they just started on it a few minutes ago because they were waiting on the brakes to come in. Should have mentioned it would be a 4 hour wait over the phone. So finally at 4:59pm I get a call saying my car is ready to be picked up. Once I get my car picked up and head home I realize they lost my rear passenger hub cap. Mind you this is the second time plaza has lost one of my hubcaps. It's mind blowing it takes 7 hours to do an alignment tire rotation and change the front brakes. It cost me over $550 and I'm missing a hubcap. Seriously the worst service I have ever received I will never be back. Day 2 I go up to plaza first thing the next morning to talk to them in person about the missing hubcap. The assistant manager told me if I can find a cheap used one bring him the bill and he will pay it. Sorry but I will not be buying a used one. I feel as a business who just got over $500 from a customer the least you can do is replace the part you didn't put back on. I called the customer service line that was commented to me. I was told someone from their leadership team would call me in 24 - 48 hours. The 48 hours came and went no phone call. I then called back and was told I would receive a call the same day. That day came and went no phone call. So moral of the story plaza tire doesn't care about helping they only use the same copy and paste reply to show face. DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO AVOID PLAZA TIRE!!! read more

I would not recommend this location to anyone. I went in to get my front left tire replaced due to a bubble on the sidewall. Instead, they replaced the front right tire because of a mistake in how the front desk entered the work order. That's fine--mistakes happen. However, when they brought me into the back to talk to the technician, he stated, word for word, that there was a bubble near the valve stem on the front right tire, which is why it was replaced. I regularly inspect my tires after hitting potholes, especially because I have low-profile tires. I told the manager that if there truly was an issue near the valve stem, there should be no problem taking a reference photo by putting the tire back on the rim and airing it up. There turned out to be no issue with the front right tire after doing this. At that point, I had a new tire installed on the front right, and they had moved my previously good-condition front right tire to the front left. All seemed well--so I thought. The first day I drove to work the following week (the first time I reached highway speeds since the service), my steering wheel started shaking. When I got to work, I checked and found that they had completely removed all the balance weights from both of my front rims and hadn't rebalanced the tires. During my initial visit, I had clearly told them that I had an alignment, balance, and rotation done just a month prior. This was my first and last experience with Plaza on West Clay Street in St. Charles. You can't rely on them to get it right the first, second, or even third time. Please, please, please make sure you understand your vehicle well so you don't get taken advantage of by the dishonest people at this West Clay location. read more

From oil changes to engine work this is the only place where I have 100% confidence that my issue will be fixed and for a fair price. My wife drives a brand new SUV and I have an almost twenty year old truck yet both vehicles still receive the same level of care and excellent service. I wouldn't hesitate to bring any vehicle here. They are extremely fair with their pricing and won't try to up-sell you parts and services that you don't need. We've been taking all of our cars to Plaza Tire on West Clay for decades,. and we have always been pleased with the customer service and quality of work. Our cars (and kids' cars) have ranged from brand new to old clunker, but Keith and Sterling treat each car like it's the most important one in the world...because to us, getting around town and to work IS important. Their prices are very reasonable, even more so if you use a Plaza Tire credit card for discounts. Their hours are great - open until 6 during the week, and ample hours on Saturday. The prices are very reasonable, and I can always trust them to tell me what is really wrong. Often, I go in expecting something expensive and being willing to pay for it, but it turns out to be something cheap. I have taken my cars her for the past 4 years that I went to Lindenwood University and they have been nothing but honest and loyal to me. Not once have they ripped me off and they have always been very easy to work with. Even as a 22 year old girl, who knows nothing about cars, they have never tried to take advantage of me and have never treated me like I was stupid or lesser because of my knowledge on cars and the many questions I may ask at times. They don't try and up-charge us and only provide the services that we need and request. There aren't any hidden fees and, as precaution, I always check my receipts before check-out and leaving the shop to ensure everything adds up. I've never had an issue in the many years I have been personally bringing my car in. I even had some pretty major things done here from an engine issue to having all four tires ordered and replaced. read more

Very, very friendly staff and exceptional work done! I called in to get a flat tire fixed with a slow leak and they got me in right away and did a great job fixing the tire! Only small complaint was the price was a little more than I was expecting to fix a flat ($25) but that is a fairly minor complaint given the friendliness and quality of work. read more

My nightmare began on August 10, 2022. My 2005 Malibu was running fine. I took it there to have freon added since it wasn't as cold as normal. After they added freon I picked the car up early afternoon and drove it home. When I turned the engine off the fan would NOT turn off. I called them immediately and was informed that they could not get me in until SEPTEMBER! I SPECIFICALLY ASKED by leaving the fan running would it damage my engine or any other parts. I was told by their receptionist : quote "possibly". I went to bed with it running and woke up the next morning and it was "quiet". I was able to drive it to their other location the next day (hesitantly since it was farther away). They later called me after doing a diagnostic test on it that now the motor was going bad. $464.00 down the drain :(N I retired my precious Malibu. No more will I be taking my new car to the Plaza Tire location on West Clay Valley Drive. You do not treat paying customers this way or any customer. I would have left it there until they could get to it. Or at least do something...turn the engine off, disconnect the fan. These people are so accommodating and truly helpful. They've done maintenance on both of my cars and I know they've saved me money by tightening a clamp or replacing a fitting when they could have talked me into doing more. I took my old car in for a transmission leak expecting the worst and they charged me $25 for a new clamp. I was floored. This car is 25 years old and you know I would have believed anything they'd have proposed. It's very unusual to feel this safe with a mechanic shop these days but I truly trust them. read more

They lost my business. Last year I went to them for Tires, alignment and inspection. They damaged 3 parts: Alternator wire, coolant temp switch and AC. On top of that they over torqued all my lug nuts to the point any normal person could not remove them (I have mad mechanical skills, so it was just an inconvenience). I suspect they were angry I replaced my front end components myself. While I can not prove the damaged parts where from them, the lug nuts issue is fact. I will take my business elsewhere in the event I need a professional mechanic, but that they are not. read more

We have been customers of Plaza Tire in on Hwy K in O'Fallon over the years and been extremely happy with the service. Recently, we used the Plaza Tire on West Clay for convenience (proximity), and we experienced the same great service. These stores do not sell repairs that aren't absolutely necessary and work to minimize the customer's costs. We worked with Scott at the West Clay store and he was fantastic. We needed repairs to our daughter's car that the store couldn't make, however, he made arrangements to have the repairs completed and even worked with a local muffler shop to perform one of the repairs. I can't say enough about how fantastic the service is ... this is a company that puts the customer first, not the almighty dollar. We will continue to bring all four of our vehicles here (and the O'Fallon store) for all of our repairs. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. read more

Every time I have been at this place they have always been nice, gotten my car done quickly and have had fair prices on tires. Keith is who I have usually dealt with and he is helpful and never made me feel like I was some dumb girl that has no idea what I was talking about. The gentleman who worked with me today was very efficient and didn't try to sell me things I didn't need.
