A truly phenomenal experience, especially Jeremy! Got me right and rolling in great time!

In true St. Louis fashion, my front tire fell victim to a pot hole on my way home from work. Very overwhelmed, I was able to get my car in that afternoon and get it back 24 hours later- they said it took longer than normal because they were able to get my same tire- just from another location. I was very impressed and all of the staff I interacted with very helpful considering I was very stressed and knew nothing of what to do. We had a flat tire late Friday night, and when I called, Jacob answered right away. He told me to come in, and when I arrived, he was helpful and friendly. We were on a tight schedule to get new tires before an event that evening, and Jacob had everything done well ahead of time. Went here this week for an oil change. Was able to get in right away which was great because I was very past due. They performed complimentary checks on everything and they told me how much the oil would be prior to the appointment which was greatly appreciated! They also have great hours and are open till 7 which was very convenient. read more

My daughter who goes to a school nearby got a flat tire. She didn't know what to do because the tire actually tore open from the rainstorm and a pot hole. I live in California and I had to make some calls to help her. I called Firestone, and Jacob helped me with my daughters tires. Got a quote and made the appointment. Honest and ethical - Firestone stand by its work. You can tell more about a business when things go wrong than right. I am so impressed with Firestone and it's manager Joel. I brought my car in for a a tire replacement and noticed some small damage a few weeks later. I returned and spoke with Joel. He looked at the damage, we discussed when it happened, then he asked me to get an estimate. A few weeks later, Firestone paid to repair the damage. We have had our fill of car issues lately. Well, really just tire issues. You'd think the experience would have been miserable, but Firestone has really come to the rescue and made it more bearable. We noticed one of our cars had a flat tire a few weeks ago, and Firestone told us to bring it in right away. Turns out there was a nail in the tire, and ALL FOUR tires had to be replaced. They had to order the tires for us, but managed to get it all done in one day. It was extremely impressive. Our second vehicle had a nail in the tire a few weeks later (construction in Clayton is AWESOME right now) and they were able to patch it in just a few hours. Firestone is always very direct with us, and we've never felt like they were trying to get us to spend money on something we don't need. They are very communicative, and always get things done very quickly. Hopefully we don't have to go back anytime soon, but it's so nice to have a reliable auto care spot close to home. read more

Newer management. Not good. I have used this location to buy tires for years. They now have a newer manager and the place has gone downhill. I took a tire that I had purchased there in with a nail in it. The tire was probably at about 50% wear. I dropped the wheel and tire off in the morning and by 3:30 and having not heard anything I called. They told me that the tread on the sides of the tire was "completely gone" and the tire had to be replaced. I knew this was not true and in my opinion they were simply trying to sell me a new tire. I will never go back to this location. read more

I made an appointment to get my car inspected (which they confirmed in a phone call), but when I showed up they said that could only do one type of inspection and not the state inspection that I had made the appointment for. They told me the other type of inspection was fine so I agreed to leave the car with them. Came back after 3 hours, and they were still not done. In my past experience, inspections haven't taken more than an hour. I ended up paying for a battery replacement that I didn't need and did not get the inspection I came for. Overall, they were unhelpful and confused me about what services needed to be done to my car. read more

As a Firestone member for years and card carrier always brought my cars for services in California, Nevada and in Missouri over the last 4 years. I got a flat tire in st louis and choose the Forsyth blvd. location that was the closest from my hotel. I called to let them know about bringing the tire that was off the car(AAA had removed it for me, and replaced it with the spare) the location of the nail had been identified by the AAA attendant. I dropped the tire off at 11am and spoke with a gentleman and a lady that were in the office. They got my information and saw that I was in their system as regular Firestone client. They were to call me when ready. 3.5 hours later i got the call that the tire was not fixable and that I had to get a new one. They could not help me though until I brought the car back for them to see all tires. I mentioned that the tire was deemed fixable by AAA and that my tires were in the system as I bought them all from a Firestone tire shop in Missouri. Still no asssitance from the man that kept telling g me how busy they were. I picked up the tire by 3 pm , left the shop and went to another tire place closest from that shop. They fix the tire in 15mn, balanced it , installed it and place the spare back in the trunk. They charged me $30. I waited 2 weeks before writing this review as I wanted to make sure that the tire held off properly. I left st louis for southern Missouri the following day and drove 250 miles without an issue. The following week I went to Memphis and back for work adding another 600 miles in 4 days. As of today my "unrepairable" tire is performing perfectly. (Picture of my tire attached) This store management was unreliable, trying to get me to buy 1 or 2 tires instead or fixing the Firestone tire I had bought less than a years ago along with the 3 others. I still like Firestone, but AVOID THIS BUSINESS at all cost if you want to be treated fairly and save money. read more

Got a screw in the tire and called to see if I could get a patch. Was told if I dropped the car off by 9am, I could pick car and tire up at close... at 5pm. Not wanting to lose the car all day, I asked if I could make an appointment a few days later. Them, I was told if I dropped it off by 9am, I could pick up the car at 1-2pm. So, a Firestone tire store is unable to perform a patch in under 5-6 hours? Crazy. Decided to take to a normal tire store where I was in and out in under an hour. read more

Charged me a diagnostic battery check fee that I was not informed of when they called to go over the estimate with me. Typically this charge is waived at other shops when you have the work done as I did. Manager called to follow up but took no accountability even though I told him the additional charge was not mentioned to me when going over the estimate. read more

Worst company ever. My car was dropped off and was told to be picked up on Monday. Monday came and no one called. I reached out to them and they informed me that my car was stolen with 4 other cars off there lot, (they did not even call to tell me this)that there was nothing they could do, take it up with my insurance company and that its my problem. They also said that I needed to pay for the repairs done to the car as well, even though I had no car to pick up. Under no circumstances use this business. They obviously don't look after your vehicle and take no ownership for making it right. If I could give 0 stars I would! read more

The wonderful crew at Firestone in Clayton went out of there way to help us after we had a tire ruined by a pothole. We fully expected to have to wait until the following day to pick up our car. Instead, they fit us into their crazy busy schedule and had us on our way later that day. We also found out just how valuable the Firestone Road Hazard insurance can be. It was a Saturday, so my go-to local repair shop was closed for the weekend. Found my way to this Firestone thanks to the Yelp reviews. My car needed a brake light bulb replaced, which ended up costing $15.25 after tax and about 40 minutes of my time here (30 minutes after I gave them the okay to switch it out after they diagnosed the problem). Not sure what took so long, hence minus a star. To this Firestone's credit, I did not once get asked or feel pressured to have any unnecessary repairs done. Really appreciate that. read more

This place really has a bad reputation as a repair shop in the past. For tires you really need to do your homework and come in know what a good deal is. In a recent visit we were quoted a price but when we started to walk, he dropped the price $30 a tire, so don't hesitate to bargin a little here. read more

We got a screw in the tire not a big deal. Luckily it was in the middle of the tire and they could patch it. When I called they were super friendly letting me know I can either bring the tire in or the car whatever was easier so I brought the tire! I didn't have time so I came back the next day it was ready super early they even offered to put the car tire back on the car with no hesitation. I had my 14-month-old daughter with me and the manager could obviously relate Long story short 10 minutes go by I'm entertaining my daughter I come to grab the keys and pay and he tells me it's on him I know it doesn't cost a lot of money to patch a tire but the customer service was beyond these guys sure know what they're doing! I went here two times, and found the better deal both times across the street at the BP garage. Despite having very nice and experienced in handling customers, problems, and repair estimates, the prices are just too high. Getting four tires mounted, rotated, and installed would run around $200, whereas BP did a marvelous job for $67 and change. The second time I visited, again, excellent people, but to reattach an exhaust hanger was looking at $300+. I decided to go to Home Depot, and for $20 and an afternoon, did it myself. Great people, and I bet their work is excellent, but for the money, I am reluctant to get work done there. read more

At every other car shop in the world, when you pick up your car you are bombarded with a list of services costing ten million dollars that you absolutely need to keep from blowing up on the highway. Not so at Firestone. They fix what needs to be fixed, maintain what needs to be maintained, and leave the scamming to the other businesses. I have been to this Firestone twice, and both times were bad experiences. The first time they suggested over $2,000 in repairs and when I took it to a different service center, they told me none of it was necessary. They spoke to me in a condescending manner on both occasions. I might not know anything about cars, but don't take advantage of that or talk down to me! I do know when I'm getting ripped off and treated like I don't know anything. UPDATE! The manager, Jacob, was incredibly sincere in his apology for the oil lid mistake. They not only repaired the damages to my car and replaced the oil, but they also paid for the tow truck. It was a very frustrating situation that was lessened by the companies dedication to correct their mistake! I am very thankful that Jacob was so willing to work with me. I even received a call today making sure that the car was still running okay! All in all, it was a rookie mistake that could have caused some serious damage, but the staff and employees at this location were apologetic and incredibly helpful! So thank you, all! read more

Estimates are fair, there's always appointment availability (and they will go out of their way to get you scheduled in), repairs are timely, and there's never any surprises or upcharges. I'm in St. Louis (from Louisville) to visit the City Museum and go to Cardinals opening day. I had my son and his friend with me, so you can imaging my frustration and stress when I noticed something falling from underneath my car. Firestone CAC was the closest auto care establishment to my location when my car started making noises. The staff looked at my car immediately, fixed the problem, as assured me I was "good to go".
