Booked the appointment days in advance and even got to the appointment 40mins early and was informed was not able to be seen until my scheduled appointment (Not a patient in sight during the visit). I acknowledge and informed I would return. Upon return I was 5-10 mins late due to attempting to locating parking, just to be told SORRY but you're too late for your appointment and the next appointment is within the next 10mins. NO empathy to attempt to reschedule the appointment and the feeling of not wanting me to be there. I kindly said ok no worries I locate services elsewhere. Found it LENS CRAFTERS from a google search that I did not know existed and not only was there parking, I was able to walk in and be seen that day even though the lobby was full of patrons. The feeling of been welcomed was a relief, will be HIGHLY RECOMMENDING this location for their willingness to assist, without been treated unwelcome, like the other location (VISION NOT WORK).

I started my process of replacing my progressive glasses online from another company, and it just…read moredidn't work out because of the many variables. In short, I could hardly read. The online store was actually very fair, accepted returns, but it wasn't a good option for me. Fast forward, the optometrist checked my prescription, and rechecked when I was in doubt without charge. The optician helped me find a stylish suitable frame, and after about a week, the precision lenses were very good, and clear at multiple distances. Sure, online is cheaper, but due to the variables, I have come to the conclusion it's not worth it unless you know the frame fit and have a simple correction. Pay a bit more (still less than many private practices) and visit the brick-and-mortar store.

I went in for new glasses and clearly stated multiple times that I only wanted services covered by my insurance. Each time I was told, "of course." I've now received an unexpected bill for an additional $145. When I called, I was told they "don't know what insurance covers" and that I had signed paperwork agreeing to pay any extra charges. My issue isn't even the amount -- it's the principle. If a patient specifically asks what is covered, that conversation should be handled honestly and transparently before services are performed. Based on my experience, I would encourage others to avoid using them. Their business practices are boderline illegal.

I had done my research online on their website and knew what I wanted. She pointed me in the right direction for my astigmatism and wasn't trying to upsell me. It was only when she showed me the price of the exact pair I was willing to purchase, I mentioned the 50%-50% sale they had. She called for a 'saleswoman' and she tried to throw every excuse in the book at me as to why they couldn't do it and I needed to do this and that and pay more. Finally, I just said, "I just came in to buy a pair of glasses and not be treated like a sucker", because that's what the saleswoman appeared to be doing. So instead of getting A sale, they got NO sale. I got up and walked out. She was rude then too. Pity, because the optometrist was fantastic, she was on my side. I apologize to her for the abrupt departure. I will NOT be going back to that store.

At 2:35, I handed my prescription to the very nice lady who had me look at frames while I waited for the Doctor. At 4:00, after running a few errands, my glasses were done. Everybody at Pearle Vision in Mansfield was simply wonderful and I can not recommend them highly enough. Even without a vision plan, my thorough examination and new glasses ran me just over $300, which is less than I expected. 10/10 recommend 10/10 will return
