The online store was actually very fair, accepted returns, but it wasn't a good option for me. Fast forward, the optometrist checked my prescription, and rechecked when I was in doubt without charge. The optician helped me find a stylish suitable frame, and after about a week, the precision lenses were very good, and clear at multiple distances. Sure, online is cheaper, but due to the variables, I have come to the conclusion it's not worth it unless you know the frame fit and have a simple correction. Pay a bit more (still less than many private practices) and visit the brick-and-mortar store.

I had done my research online on their website and knew what I wanted. She pointed me in the right direction for my astigmatism and wasn't trying to upsell me. It was only when she showed me the price of the exact pair I was willing to purchase, I mentioned the 50%-50% sale they had. She called for a 'saleswoman' and she tried to throw every excuse in the book at me as to why they couldn't do it and I needed to do this and that and pay more. Finally, I just said, "I just came in to buy a pair of glasses and not be treated like a sucker", because that's what the saleswoman appeared to be doing. At 2:35, I handed my prescription to the very nice lady who had me look at frames while I waited for the Doctor. At 4:00, after running a few errands, my glasses were done. Everybody at Pearle Vision in Mansfield was simply wonderful and I can not recommend them highly enough.
