I pulled into the driveway to get my car serviced and it was packed. I almost left because I figured it may be awhile, but the tech assured me that it was only going to take about 30 minutes or so and with, all my traveling, I can tell you my car Is probably running on mud right now instead of oil... yikes. So, 30 minutes wasn't too horrible. I went inside and most of the chairs were full in the waiting room, but they had a tv playing horrible soap operas and a full pot of fresh coffee. I stood around for a few, and realized they had a stack of magazines that had some unusual titles. I'm an artsy type and they had, sitting on the top of the stack, "International Artist." I was pleased and parked my butt in an empty seat. The guy at the front desk was very nice and took my info. My car has lots o miles, so I told him I wanted the oil that would make it purr like a kitten again instead of an asmatic old lion. I presented a coupon to him and he nodded in acknowledgement. I sat back down and watched him greet several of the regulars by name, and that's always a good thing in my book. After awhile they came in and showed me how dirty my air filter was and I cringed... I knew this visit would entail more than an oil change because it had been a pretty long time since I'd brought my car in for service. After about 10 more minutes he came in and said my serpentine belt was bad, and I had a feeling it was so that was no shocker. Well, my 30 minutes turned to about an hour. Not a huge deal, but I think they had to order my serpentine belt from another shop. What I am bummed about is that they didn't tell me, and my boyfriend overheard them ordering it from another shop. Had they set that expectation of my wait, I would have been fine. When I was all done and ready to pay, the guy told me that my coupon wasn't valid because I used a more expensive oil. I probably looked like someone kicked my puppy because the original guy never told me that. For a high mileage oil change, fluid top off, air filter, and serpentine belt I was looking at $160. After he realized the first guy had been told about my coupon, he gave me a $10 discount. I was happy again! He also gave me a loyalty card that gives me my 6th oil change free. Bonus!! The thing I liked the most about them, is that they could tell my car had some issues while starting, and they offered some ideas and mentioned that the auto shop up the street was theirs too. I can say that I will definitely be back here, and I may even try out their auto shop. The service was great, and my car's asthma is silenced for a bit. :P

So I came to Valvoline on Colerain for help. They were very friendly and helpful. My tires in fact had not been checked and my fluids had not been topped off. I heard the manager call the other location and tell them I was the second person THAT DAY that didn't have their tire pressure checked or fluids checked. While I'm VERY dissatisfied and disappointed about what happened on Harrison Avenue, I'm grateful for the guys at the Colerain location for making things right.

I picked the cheaper option which was $12/wiper for a total cost of $24. Another employee changed the wipers while he got my payment. Having done my own oil changes all my life, life gets in the way and automotive makers make it a little bit more difficult for the do-it-yourself kind of person. Valvoline instant oil change makes this easy. Sure, and you pay a little bit, but it's worth the money. This great expert, courteous and thorough team always gets the job done right . The 1st time!. Would I come back? Yes, emphatically! This is my number one place for an oil change. Tip: Get there early, even before they open, on the weekends. There is always the risk of a wait because it's first come, first serve. Also, if you have a hard to find or not always stocked oil filter, you may want to check and see if they have it in stock. I've only had this happen once, so I always make sure to have one in the trunk in case they don't have it. Additionally - They'll push for the synthetics. Always consult with your vehicle OEM recommended oil! Lastly - They'll check your air filter. These are typically very cheap to buy at an auto parts store and very easy to install. They won't push it if you don't need it. However, they will check it. If you don't mind taking a few minutes and doing it yourself, you can save a few dollars.

I had my car towed here late Tuesday evenin, due to an…read moreemergency as I'd been stranded on the highway for 6 hours, after being on shift since 5am, was a hot and day needed to be over afternoon. the associate seemed nice at first. then informed me nothing would be done till the next day. I just needed a tire, stranded. we're closed. Ok, in direct contradiction to the way they were open and I was discussing this with them inside. Got home eventually. well then they quoted me nearly $400 for 2 tires. They refused to email me a breakdown of the quote or anything at all, as I needed to have something to show work. Said they did, I politely called the day after that and asked again at which point the pretended to so while I was on the phone. I know this be Igave them two emails and to this day, 5 days later have received nothing. when I got paid a cohole days later I had a ride at 520 called and asked if we headed that way would they wait, knowing we wouldn't be late, could have totally said no we can't do that. instead he said yes, that's no problem. we arrive at 609 pm just as hes walking to his car. we honk, he stops looks right at us, gets in his car and drives off. fourty min drive one way, accompanied with the $208 I lost as a. direct result of this individual being dishonest and inconsiderate and disrespectful about their word and our time and their integrit. when I came back the next day and asked the uncomfortably overweight gentleman at the counter about this they immediately proceeded to give nothing but attitude and we had stuff to do retort. I calmly explained that had they said that upfront it would be fine, it's the fact they knew how far we were coming and told me they would wait, and then they didnt. He didn't have anything to say to that, so when I made a point to let him know I was out over $200 because if this he laughed in my face and and gave me a look like they were very plew to hear that. I then asked for a ln alignment print out at which point he informed me they didn't bother to do the alignmen, because. They didn't have a reason, he mumbled something and changed the subject they were adamant that I did not get overcharged yet tires were $93 each+ $33 for labor disposal fees under $5 leaves nearly $100 unaccounted for. As if all that wasn't enough already, I get out to my car and they'd put used tires on the car, with no alignment for a hundred dollar premium with a side of morel repugnance and sadisti delight. I only see reasons to stay far, far away from this place. Far. If you break down here, push your car on another lot before they touch anything. Be aware
