I would say the "sales" ability upfront is very good and I agree with most of their recommendations. The grill they made was good with no changes needed which I appreciate. The follow-through after move-in has been very slow and less than desired. Repeated follow-up needed and still have issues unresolved. I sense they are super busy and, with no more money to be made from me, I'm low on the priority list.

Came there specifically to have a key duplicated. No one at the desk. No problem, I'll wait. Employee walks by and sees me standing there and was going to keep walking so I decided to ask her if she can help me. Immediately, not a great attitude. Did not catch her name but pretty sure her name tag had "manager" on it. She had that way of talking that just signals they are irritated to be helping you. So she doesn't have the needed blank (which I understand) and decides to try to make a "custom" key for me, which I appreciate. She hands it to me and says she thinks it will work but it's custom made. Ok, I get it. This is where my annoyance increases. I said I'd like a total of three duplicate keys. She refused to make the other two. She said there's no point in making them if I'm not sure if they are going to work. Sure there is....I live an hour away, I tell her, so I'd like to get the keys now. Nope, she refused again. So if the keys work, I'm all set. If they don't work, I'm out $6 to $8. Under her way, if the keys work, I am supposed to make another 1 hour round trip to have 2 more made? Why not just make them? She apologized for how far I lived away and said....there's no point in making them if I'm not sure they are going to work. I'm a bit stunned at this outright refusal to sell the customer what they are asking for. I guess the customer is not always right at this store. It was clear she just didn't want to spend 5 more minutes making two more keys. It was quite annoying. I do not plan to return to this store.

Neil was awesome we came in to this place for some wood burning stove gaskets. He had a bunch of…read morerope gaskets for the stoves. Helped us out. Was very friendly and professional. We bought the 3 types of gaskets we needed. 2 rope gaskets for our window frame in our stove, (1 was for the vent area and 1 was for the glass that went inside of the frame) that was the 2 rope gaskets and then the 3rd one was for our Door hatch to the stove. So 3 total. I removed it from our stove to bring in the gaskets to match up what we needed. Neil said that definitely helped him figure out which ones we need. I'm glad I did cuz there was 3 different types needed for our stove. Thank you Neil. You are awesome.

I love the jumble and assortment of stuff here, and it's much more of an adventure than going to Home Depot. I find little sink stoppers and screens for my bathroom and kitchen that I can't get anywhere else, but I always end up picking up something on a whim, like candles. They have the odd gift item stocked right beside the really functional hardware stuff. I bought my Sterno stove kit, which really comes in handy in the winter, since Church Hill almost always loses power at least two or three times during the season. Can't live without my morning mud!
