They've got bowling lanes, a pool table, some claw machines and vending machines, and next door, the Viking Valhalla restaurant/bar. It's convenient to be able to walk into the bar to order beers and drinks and food and more. The bartender was super nice, as was really everyone we met. Basically, the beer is cheap, the shoes were in decent shape, and the lanes were open. We didn't get any wings this time, but I think that's in the cards next time. The only drawbacks, as I see them: 1. They seem to have a lot of rules. Only our youngest kids could use the bumpers, as they were worried about damage. They also watched us pretty closely to make sure all shoe rules were being followed. Maybe that's just because we were just about the only folks in there. That said, the place is clean and well kept, which I imagine is because they are vigilant. 2. I got a lot of false hope after throwing two strikes right out of the gate. I was looking at the guy's name scrawled on the wall for his 300 game, and dreaming it could be me. Turns out I couldn't even break 150.

Despite the reviews I am seeing I don't think the lanes are bad at all! Everything I have seen is kept pretty clean and while it takes a little while to get service sometimes, I understand as bowling alleys are not making much money these days and staff is limited. I appreciate all they do. The one thing I would complain about is that this summer they are closed on Tuesdays, it's only one day but somehow I keep finding myself wanting to bowl on Tuesdays and having to go out to bowlero in Webster if I really want to. But I imagine that could be a staffing issue too. To bring this place to the next level I would really invest in more staff. That may require offering a higher pay level, but it will increase business and customer satisfaction and return by decreasing wait times. Overall it's a great alley full of great people. They just need help.

We didn't play bowling as our kids weren't old enough, we were there just for their arcade. Got a deal for the games $25 for 50 credits. There is a machine which you can trade in your tickets to redeem prizes, very convenient. The arcade isn't as big but kids still had a great time and was happy with their prizes.

You walk in the door to a cozy warm entryway that opens into an intimate, old fashioned bar space. Three booths. Some chairs at the old wooden bar. A dart board. The whole place seems like it comes from a sitcom in your youth--including the prices. We're talking $3 for a Genny light draft, $4 for 12 horse, $5 for a Rohrbach pale ale, $9 for a hamburger. You get the idea (prices are from January 2025). Bring a book or bring a friend. Or several friends. All of the menu items are passable, but the wings are good. The wings are so good. The wings are so good that when you mention to people that you've been to L&M lanes they'll go, "oh, they have really good wings." Go. Get a pint. Get some cheap eats. Hang out and be cozy for a while. They also have bowling.

The bowling alley was pretty empty for a Friday night which was a little concerning but thought nothing of it at first. However the problems started once the bowling started. I'm fine with older lanes and they can be fun but the lanes just kept having problems of not returning balls, counting/not counting pins as gone, the balls were cracked etc. we played for two hours and felt like half of the time was just fixing the lane. Luckily my crew was pretty chill and didn't really care about the game we were there to hang out. So if you actually want to bowl probably not the best spot for you. They also had food and drinks which were pretty standard for your local bowling alley. Nothing to speak crazily about, just basic wings and beer

The woman at the counter was so friendly and courteous as my granddaughter had to try multiple shoe sizes before finding a good fit. Then she went out of her to check the ingredients in their soft pretzels to verify that my granddaughter was not allergic to any ingredients. Beyond that, when the automated pin setter on our lane got stuck, I asked a staff member if he could fix it. When he said no problem, I also asked if he could show my other granddaughter what was behind the pins, because she had asked me earlier. He said that unfortunately he could not because it's too dangerous when people are bowling. He fixed it and tried to take a behind the scenes video to show my granddaughter, but apologized that it didn't come out. Then a few minutes later he came back with a kind gesture that my granddaughters will always remember. This is beauty of a family-owned, small town business. We're so glad to live here!
