The location is nice, in the sea breeze area with plenty of food options around (no food served here, just alcohol). There were 5 of us and we took 2 lanes. We were the largest group there, with only a few other patrons on 2 other lanes. There are 8 lanes total. The look and feel is very old school, with all shades of pink paint adorning the walls, old newspaper cutouts, old shoes, and all used/donated bowling balls. We even kept our own scores on paper they provided (but later used a bowling calculator on our phone ). The guys split a few pitchers of beer throughout the evening, the bar seemed to be fully stocked and the barkeep was a nice gentleman. It was a very low key evening and we all had a good time. Everything I have seen is kept pretty clean and while it takes a little while to get service sometimes, I understand as bowling alleys are not making much money these days and staff is limited. The one thing I would complain about is that this summer they are closed on Tuesdays, it's only one day but somehow I keep finding myself wanting to bowl on Tuesdays and having to go out to bowlero in Webster if I really want to. But I imagine that could be a staffing issue too. To bring this place to the next level I would really invest in more staff. That may require offering a higher pay level, but it will increase business and customer satisfaction and return by decreasing wait times. Overall it's a great alley full of great people. They just need help.
