I love this place! It's located in the lower level of Whole Foods. My first time stopping by was months ago and they were giving out free fries so I said hey why not. I tried the sweet potato fries and really enjoyed them. Today was National Chili Cheese Fries Day so I headed over to pickup my free fries (once again). I'll have to be honest the chili cheese fries weren't a hit for me; the cheese was unmelted, the sour cream was weird and the chili was like sweet rather than savory; but they were free so I can't really complain. The rest of my meal however was fantastic!! LOVED the bloomies, they were nice and crispy and went perfectly with the suggested dipping sauce, as well as my burger which I should've gotten a double because it went by so fast. The staff was super friendly, and was also friendly at my last visit so I'd rate the customer service an A+. Overall, this company is always trying something new, I love the effort they are making to keep the customers coming back. Thanks PLNT burger, I'll see you again soon! read more

Right below whole foods, with whole foods prices and whole foods quality. Super nice workers, although they did get my order slightly wrong (they originally forgot to give me a frostie). The bacon cheese burger was alright. Not as good as the tempeh burgers at Hipcity Vedge, and considerably more expensive. For me impossible burger just tastes better. YMMV The sweet potato fries weren't good, and were pretty soggy. Their sauces were AMAZING, though, and would have benefited from crispy fries to go on. The oat frostie was legitimately good. Tasted more like whipped cream than a soft serve, but the flavors themselves were unique. One of the best amongst fast-food places in the area. Glad we double checked our bag before we left, as previously mentioned they forgot it originally. Would eat it again if I was hungry at Whole Foods, but I much prefer Hip City Vedge's recipes. 40 min for a prefrozen burger because they are understaffed and not cooking anything with ANY urgency. I would not typically write a review for a place because of service but this was truly painful to watch. Hungry when we ordered and angry by the time it was done. We get the patty melt and it's a piece of THIN plant meat between two slices of flattened toasted white bread and nothing else; the description indicated there would be several more ingredients. The aioli tastes like canola oil whipped with gums and stabilizers (I.e. flavorless regardless of indicated flavor). Seems like a company taking advantage of shoppers by pretending to care about sustainability but it's just good marketing and a great location. Stick with the sushi or hot bar if you're hungry at Whole Foods, or a bag of frozen peas for that matter. This was just sad. read more

My husband had the cheese burger, which I also got to taste. The vegetable burger was surprisingly substantial. The cheese burger was believable. I parked downstairs at Whole Foods and spotted this place as I browsed the alcohol on this level. Tucked in the back corner, worth it to find it! Plenty of socially distant seating outdoors to enjoy your food. Vegan burgers, vegan chicken sandwiches, fries (sweet potato and traditional potato), chili, veggie dogs, soft serve vegan ice cream, and drinks. Pretty straightforward menu, reasonable prices ($6.95 vegan burger, $2.95 small fries), very friendly service. A lot more reasonably priced than I expected for being inside one the most expensive places to buy groceries! I love veggie burgers, and the influx of different delicious veggie burgers brings me great joy! I'll definitely be back and look forward for the inside dining to reopen in the future. read more

I had such a bad experience at this location. First of all the food is EXPENSIVE!! Especially for what you get. The average meal they offer (mostly "burger" spot) will run you between $17-22! Then add that onto the fact that they use these ~ weird seasonings ~ and condiments that do not taste good. Almost like they were trying too hard to be different with their flavors. I ordered a deep fried oyster mushroom burger to go. Something they advertised as a fried chicken burger replacement. Wait times were between 15-20 minutes during light foot traffic. When my order came up I made sure all was there before I left. I had already driven for a bit before I got started on my sandwich. I was hungry and hadn't eaten all day after not being able to find anything quite healthy. Upon biting into the mushroom burger, I noticed immediately that it was extremely hard to bite into. I had really clamp down and turn my neck to tear a piece off. Once I began to chew I couldn't even break it down, it was horrible! It was completely inedible and absolutely lacking in any real flavor to boot! So I called the phone number I find in the receipt to see what they could do. Long story short, while they did offer to replace the burger, explaining that I must have received a bit more of the "mushroom stalk" instead of the actual mushroom. I would have to drive all the way back to their location today and order to receive any credit. It was the middle of rush hour and I was steeped in traffic. I also again was bit far off and do not live near the location but was merely passing through. I explained that I couldn't make it back today and why but if someone could take my name I would be happy to come back the next day instead. Well the manager I spoke with was short and of no help at all. she went on to say that if I couldn't get back there in the middle of rush hour then there was nothing she could do for me. After remaining polite even with the mistake they made, she simply said that she would have "someone" reach out to me and hung up in my ear :( I could not believe she could be so rude and short after I had spent almost $25 and could not even eat the main course of my food. I also ordered this like blooming onions. I noticed they use some sort of shake n bake seasoning rub on it. It has a very odd taste, possibly a vegan breadcrumb mix which immediately shakes off and just goes everywhere. When you bite into a piece it has weird flavor and the breadcrumb crumbles all in your mouth. *Not fun* So I guess it sums up as money wasted but lesson learned :/ Not only was the food terrible but when the customer service is no good, then that's my queue. I was excited to try this new vegan establishment but I won't be going back. Too many other great options out there to waste good money on the bad ones. If you decide to dine at this establishment, do yourself a favor and actually taste your food before you leave. At least if it's in any way inedible you can get a replacement while you're still there. However if it just plain ol taste weird, well then thats another story.. You roll the dice with places like this. Places that try to be so cool that they even gave themselves a "new gen" abbreviation as the name for the franchise and like to overly experiment with their menu pairings and flavor profiles.
