I visited today and had a weird experience. At first customer service was great as was the food. We ordered the crab wontons and they were decent, a lot of cream cheese, but not bad! We also ordered the pineapple fried rice which was good. The crispy garlic chicken was great too. We ordered the Phad Sew Lew which was incredibly fishy and a little off in its flavor. We decided to send back our dish and had a weird conversation not only with our waitress but the other waitress as well because they decided to confront us. You could also clearly hear the frustration of the chef in the back. Service overall was ok, but very uncomfortable if you don't end up liking a dish. read more

Amazing curries full of protein and veggies and delicious housemade crab wontons. Good phad thai and tom kha as well. Cozy dining space. Appreciate the use of paper boxes instead of styrofoam. It's nice that the 1 star is not spicy. A better selection of stir fries would be good. read more

I think they do a good job here. The times I have ordered here I have always enjoyed the flavor and they are quick. However, I just ordered their drunken noodles with shrimp and it contained a total of 4 small shrimp. You pay extra for shrimp so I wasn't happy about that. Felt I should share that. read more

Easy on and off location enroute to Chelan from Seattle area plus good reviews attracted us, and we were very satisfied! Tried the Crispy Chicken, green curry with pork and eggplant with prawns. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, sauces varied and delicious. We will definitely try to return on our next trip! read more

WOW! Why did we wait so long to try this hidden gem?! A few weeks back my husband wanted fried rice for lunch at work so I called in an order for take out and it was great, he had it 2 other times that week! We decided last week to go in for dinner as a family and man oh man EVERYTHING was amazing! Great service and food! The staff is so friendly and accommodating! Now today, I Just picked up dinner togo, one of the last orders of the night and we called in around 6:15, they close at 7p.. they were again kind and accommodating even had to make fresh rice to fill our 2 orders and they didnt bat an eye! Most delicious pad Thai I've had in Washington state. One of the few times I had moist chicken with pad Thai. Mango sticky rice was ridiculously tasty Also very accommodating for Vegans and those with fish allergies. Every item can have fish and oyster sauce removed. 10000% will be back soon read more

We just stopped in Cle Elum for lunch on our way to Yakima. We looked at the options and are delighted we chose Ploy Thai Bistro. The service was exceptional and the waitress was attentive but not hovering. We had the Tom Yum soup with chicken. Not a lot of depth in the flavor profile but still delicious. I had their special, pumpkin curry with shrimp and loved it!!! Shrimp was perfectly cooked and the pumpkin curry with coconut milk was outstanding. My husband had the chicken Penang curry was flawless (according to the hubby) The proportions were large and the pricing was fair. We'll be back!!! read more

With all the great review I was dying to try this place.. unfortunately I wasn't too impressed. The food is really spicy even with only one star so I would recommend none if you don't like spice. I had the cashew chicken and the chicken was dry and not really that flavorful, just overwhelming spice. I also tried the pad see ew and wasn't really impressed with that either, it wasn't very flavorful either. Finally, I got the crab wonton but wasn't impressed with these for the same reason, not flavorful. My boyfriend did like the crab wonton though so it could have been my taste. The portions are bigger than I expected however. The place is very cute and you can tell it is family owned and they work really hard to make people happy. read more

The food was good good the COVID precautions were great. They've got signs on the door firmly establishing their rules with an option to stay in your car for curbside service if you're not willing to follow them. The extra special touch was that I made a passing remark about yesterday being my daughter's birthday while ordering her dish. When we got home and opened the bag a note wishing her a belated birthday was written on the container for her food. The special touch really sealed the deal for us. Anyone in the area should definitely get their lunch or dinner here. read more

We were passing through Cle Elum on our way to Leavenworth for the weekend and found Ploy Thai Bistro just off the highway! We read the reviews and decided to try it out and we were so glad we did! The restaurant was so clean and tidy, they had real plants, and it felt really comfortable. The food was quick and excellent, normal (not huge) size portions for a good price. The waitstaff was phenomenal: so attentive, kind, welcoming, and helpful. She took our order with our multiple customizations with such enthusiasm! Such a lovely experience overall. 10/10 Would recommend to anyone passing through here for some fresh and delicious Thai food! So happy to have come here and will definitely be back any time we're in Cle Elum. read more

We are from the Olympia-Lacey area where there are upwards of 20 Thai restaurants. We can say that Ploy Thai Bistro quality is equivalent to the quality of the best restaurants in our area. We had the green curry and pad kee mao noodles and both were excellent. Such a treat here in Cle Elum right off the interstate. Glad to have a different choice in this town. read more

I live in Cle Elum & Ploy Thai is, in my opinion, the best place to eat in Upper Kittitas County. The food is made with fresh, healthy ingredients & the service is spectacular. Best Thai place In Kittitas County hands down. One night we called a little bit before closing asking if they would accept another order and they were so kind about it and accepted! They do an amazing job with their pad Thai and their curry, everything is fresh and made with love. We try to order takeout there once a week and they never fail to give us amazing service. They are very good about covid guidelines, honestly better than most restaurants in Cle elum. Would definitely recommend making a stop here! read more

I ordered Chicken Pad Thai and an appetizer of crab wontons. The crab wontons were good, though the sauce was a bit meh. Not bad, but a bit overpriced I'd say. The Pad Thai was delicious, I did 3 stars, and would probably do 4 next time as I like my food spicy! Could have used a bit more peanuts, but that's a personal preference. Very fresh and flavorful. I'd probably order a side of rice next time as well to bulk it up. Overall very good food, fast service and the place is super cute and clean. Will definitely be back soon! I would have given 5 stars but I felt like the price was a little high for the amount of food I received. read more

Zero Stars. 1 hour for two noodle dishes and a Satay (overcooked .) All noodles were inexpertly cooked to a squishy sticky pulp, sauce was skimpy, food was cold, not timed and horrid. These people have no business operating a restaurant if they cannot cook Phad Thai correctly given an hour to do so. As if that weren't bad enough, all dishes were incredibly bland and lacked any authenticity whatsoever. No peppers, watered down sauce. My family could not eat their dinner, popcorn and frozen burritos are a better respite. Mercifully the portions are chintzy. The satay comes with cucumber salad, at least 1.5 oz of it! You can't get a beer there, either. Crap sheer crap. read more

Excellent food. My family are foodies and we found the selections spot on! Come here and eat. They have 4 levels of spice. I got the chicken with garlic level 3. Not super spicy, the kid even ate it. The crab ragoons were a little on the skimpy side and after deep frying, didn't leave much for taste. Besides that, the entrees were great. read more
