I'm a fan! Nice decorated space, hip and great menu especially for milkshakes. Happy hour is everyday! Yay! Milkshakes are decked out and really picture worthy! I had the sangria which was a good size in a tall wine glass, $6 at happy hour (everyday). Also tried a cookies and cream milkshake. Tastes good. You can choose to add a boozy dessert shot to your milkshakes for additional $6. I tried that and I liked it, to me it wasn't overpoweringly bitter like liquor sometimes can be in a dessert

I came in recently for breakfast because I liked the vibe, a hippy sort of tribute with a big peace sign at the entrance and art from musicians of the 60's. When I got inside I enjoyed the art and general aesthetic but the lighting was off; they have two extremely bright light beams jolting across the restaurant; someone needs to reposition those. It's glaring into the sitting area in a way that is distracting at best. The breakfast menu was underwhelming; I didn't see any options for a simple breakfast plate. Big items were the burrito and sandwich. Hoping they change those things because this has a lot of potential. Latte and bacon are great! Order at the bar, take a number, and food is brought to you.

Dropped by on a Friday night for the start of SF Restaraunt Week. Although they kind of state on the menu that these are smash burgers, they aren't. Nothing wrong with the burger, I got the Korean-style Smash and it was good. There was nothing distinctly Korean about it's flavor and the burger patty was not really smashed, but it was tasty and juicy, which is most important. The fries were super crispy and the milkshake was impressive. The milkshake looked so amazing that an old lady waiting for her food felt the need to comment on how I was eating it all without anyone to share it with... -___- hahaha Even with the unprovoked reminder of existential loneliness, I enjoyed the food at PLS on Post very much. The only real, relevant gripe is that even with the RW deal, the total with tip was ~$40 for a burger, fries and milkshake. But everything was pretty tasty and filling.

Come here for the milkshakes! One of the best cookies and cream milkshakes I've had. Presentation was impeccable. The burgers could be reworked though. Got myself the "Mission Smash" and it was pretty tasteless. I was hoping to find a good guacamole burger in the city, but my search still continues. And for $17 for just a burger makes me even sadder.

Yummy smash burgers and fries! The burger was fresh, it had a sauce on it that was a bit sweeter than typical burger sauces, but I thought it actually complimented the sour pickles well. When I think of a smash burger, I think of crispy, lacey edges and a really thin patty, this wasn't that type of smash burger but some people prefer the not-so-smashed smash burgers. The fries were a good texture and they have homemade ketchup that's not too sweet. My cocktail which had Tito's, orange, and other similar flavors was definitely strong but still balanced, it paired well with the burger. Pretty expensive for burgers but it is a nice establishment and located next to an adjoining hotel lobby. The quality and freshness definitely came through and made it worth it.

The fries were good but the cookies and cream shake was amazing. The service was ok. You have to order and pay before you can sit down. The ambiance was ok.

Was in the area to watch a play, located within Union Square and connected to Hotel Zeppelin is this really cool full bar with amazing smash burgers and milkshakes! For a Friday night it was nice coming in without having to wait, the staff were super friendly too! You order at the counter and they deliver your food. I got the spicy peppa smash with cheddar cheese and fries. My friend got the classic American smash burger with sweet potato fries. Our food came out so quickly and the burgers and fries were delicious!! The spicy peppa smash is pretty messy though but was SO good! A good amount of spice and quad and cheese, the cheddar cheese definitely melted and my burger fell apart but no problem, I got to use my fork and knife. They also serve milkshakes and have a full bar here. Great for hotel guests or people in the area. There's street parking and some parking garages around. But a nice spot to grab something quick and a nice smash burger!

Happy hour! I'm always in search of one and this place has it daily and also late night on weeknights (Thursday to Saturday) Came in for dessert only. They have amazing milkshakes. They're pricy ($16-20) but you can add alcohol and they are monstrous. Chock full of candy and toppings. Modern interior, walk up to order / pay and get a number and sit wherever you like. A bright place more diner-style than bar. Others seemed to enjoy their burgers / fries.

I stayed at Hotel Zepplin and the convenience of PLS was unmatched. Had dinner and a delicious beer while waiting. Grabbed breakfast to go the next morning. The service was outstanding and the vibe was impeccable.

You order when you walk in. Bartender was pleasant and efficient. We placed our order and sat down. A few minutes later they brought our food to our table: Classic American Smash burger (one well, one medium-well), side of shoestring fries, a chocolate shake, and a Funfetti shake. Everything was really good. The smash burgers were done just right, the toppings were nice and fresh. Burgers cooked to perfection. Fries were excellent, and the shakes were frosty perfection. Would definitely reorder.

We were greeted immediately and shown to the table I had requested (I requested a booth). At many restaurants, reinstated like the are ignored so this was really nice. I also was impressed that they didn't pull the "everyone must be present before you're seated" bs that I really dislike. They seated us and our 4th joined us soon after we ordered drinks. Props! It was a nice big booth with plenty of room for our party of 4. Low lighting and classy dining room. Food was delicious. We chose the lamb. Also lots of inventive cocktails. I chose The Bentley. We also got dessert: lemon curd donuts and a peach trifle.

We were given menus. Then we waited 15 minutes and were never approached for a drink. Oh well,,, hostess came and founds up and took us to our table. Said table was VERY small and shoved into a very small corner in back of a smallish but VERY loud room. Server took at least 10 minutes to greet our table and take a drink order. Drinks were fine but nothing to write home about. Ordered deviled eggs for an appetizer. Smoked paprika flavor was overwhelming and we left 4 of the six eggs uneaten. Dinner guest ordered Flat iron steak and fries. Said it was ok "Like a steak at Chili's". He left half his steak and didn't want a box to take the leftover. Also ordered the Mac-n-cheese side and said it was bland and had a mushy texture. I ordered the Black Cod. It was under seasoned and bland. Server was fine and I mean that in the most average and forgettable way. While I understand the restaurant was busy and they can't help noise levels or where we were sat (someone has to sit in that table, right?), I'm most disappointed in the things they could have controlled. Timely, friendly service and well seasoned quality food should be the cornerstones of any good restaurants and Wayfare Tavern displayed neither last night. One other rule I need to remember to live by. ALWAYS check yelp reviews vs. OpenTable. OT consistently has EXTREMELY high reviews that don't always "add up". Wayfare Tavern, for example is a 4.7 stars in over 8,300 reviews, while it only receives 3.9 stars in Yelp with over 4,000 people reviewing it on this platform. Just my opinion but for context I eat out for work 3-4x a weeks all over the country and Wayfare did not come close to a 4.7 star or even a 3.9 star experience.

I loved the decor all around the restaurant with adorable cow art and a very clean feel. The servers and hosts were coming over to chat with us and just made us feel so welcome and special. I don't normally like horseradish, but the burger came with the perfect amount of horseradish where it tasted very fresh and added a good burst of flavor without being overwhelming! A charming little bistro inspired by the Marlowe cows, I'm assuming, managed to stun us with several memorable dishes. The warm deviled eggs were an excellent start. Savory yet delicate enough to not weigh us down right at the beginning of our meal. The horseradish aioli wasn't for me, but I can see its appeal for a certain audience. You give me a Calabrian chili sauce and it's guaranteed to make me happy and this shrimp with sweet corn was no exception. Again, light but a punchy flavor that was enjoyable. I could go on and on about the different dishes we tried but the real standout of the night was the pork tenderloin with chorizo and peaches. The sweetness from the peaches somehow managed to enhance the flavor of the chorizo. This dish gives you a bold, savory and sweet bite all together but still won't have you feeling super heavy. The portion size is perfect. Im hoping to return soon for another exquisite meal.

Today me and my wife stopped in for lunch as we have a few times before. It was a warm day in the Bay Area today and we were out walking so I wore a nice sleeveless shirt. It was nice, new and clean. The hostess asked me to cover my shoulders but I said I didn't have anything with me. She sent the manager over. The manager told me no sleeveless shirts for men are allowed in her restaurant. Mind you this is lunch. Not dinner. This is not a super fancy place. Me and my wife were both properly and nicely dressed. I politely told her that I identify as a woman. She said it didn't matter. I said so you misspoke a moment ago and male or female cannot wear sleeveless shirts? She said correct. I looked around and there was a woman behind us wearing a sleeveless shirt. Not nearly as nice as mine or dressed as nice as me. I said ok I will wait here while you turn her away too. The manager then became very rude and said she isn't going to serve me no matter what. I told her are you sure about this and she said yes and asked me to leave. How embarrassing. I have never been turned away from any establishment in my life. Is this not discremenation due to my gender? Businesses have the right to refuse service to anyone unless it is for race, gender or age. I will be contacting an attorney this week. This is not ok.
