I was excited to hear they were building a Pluckers on the south side of town. I had never been and was definitely looking forward to trying them out. My son and I stopped by after doing a little Christmas shopping so we were nice and hungry. I was immediately impressed when I walked in just by the TVs alone. This is definitely the spot to catch your favorite sports. The staff was super friendly and greeted us with a smile and sat us right away. Our waitress was awesome and told us about the Pluckers Club promotion. It usually cost a one time fee of 20 bucks, but we came at the last day of the promotion and got it for 10 bucks. Just for signing, we got a free order of Holy Macaroni, and with two meal purchases, another free appetizer. The membership paid itself off just with the freebies. It was too good to pass up. We of course got the free Holy Macaroni, and chose the Fried Cheese as our other free item. They came with our apps pretty quickly. They both looked identical and upon cutting them open, we found we had 2 of the same items. They apologized and brought us out the Fried Cheese and let us keep the extra plate of Holy Macaroni. Talk about appetizer overload! The Holy Mac is deep fried blocks of mac and cheese, and they were awesome. Now the size of these and the Fried Cheese were giant blocks of cheesy goodness. I ate one of each and was already full. For our main course, we both went with boneless wings baskets, which are basically chicken tenders. Between the both of us, we had Bakers Gold, Spicy Garlic Parmesan, Lemon Pepper and Gochujang. They were all tasty, but my personal favorite was the Gochujang. It was nice and spicy and had the Asian flavors that I love. They do not skimp on portions here. With the free apps and giant tenders, we had atleast 2 more meals to eat at home. I waited for this place to open. Now that it has, I got to try it, and I now hope it stays in business for a very long time. The Plucker's franchise was unfamiliar to me until I joined Yelp. In the past year, I came across rants and raves about its establishments. Being the "wing man" that I am, I couldn't help but wonder what Plucker's would be like for me. Enter the new Webster branch. I came here yesterday with the hopes of eating my sorrows away after the Rockets dropped their second game in a row. Barely a few minutes after I sat myself, my waitress, Emily, graciously offered me fried pickles on the house. Points earned. As a Plucker's rookie, I played it safe by ordering a five spicy lemon pepper wing combo with tots as my side. The wings lived up to their name. I used to think that Wingstop had killer lemon pepper wings, but those of this place were just as great. Tots with wings may sound weird, but they're a solid combination at Plucker's. Sriracha ketchup made the former tastier. Four and a half stars rounded up to five as I finished my food. Last but not least, the men's room has a sign that reads "COCKS". How can anyone not laugh at that? Unless you're a super prude. Simply put, I think I'll like Plucker's. It's taken off in my book. read more

This Pluckers is the worst ! A friend and i came into this pluckers we were greeted nicely that was the one good thing about our whole experience here ,we were recommended to sit at the bar, i thought since we are sitting at the bar we might get faster service and from the looks of it it was very slow we sit and wait patiently about 10 minutes go by of not getting any menus or attend not even a "hey i'll be right with you guys" nothing at all ! Eventually the bartender comes (not very happy) takes our drink order and food, she said she would be getting our drinks but then some time passed on and we never got any drinks , at this point our food comes out still no drinks , and the bartender still didn't think to come and ask "hey did everything come out okay can i get yall anything else?'" no she proceeded to ignore us and so here me and my friend are eating our chili cheese fries with our fingers and no drinks ! while we have all our food in front of us ! so i decided to call the bartender and ask for our drinks, i called for her and she gave me her finger because she was speaking to another employee and told me to wait she came over and i ask can we get our drinks ? she said "i am waiting for the servers to bring me cups" and she walks away ! after seeing all our food out she thought the best thing to do was make us wait even more after already waiting 20 mins for our drinks ! so i decided to call the manager and say can we please get some drinks, the manager told me the same thing about waiting on cups i understand but we had already been sitting there for a very long time even before we got our food we didn't have anything in front of us! If the bartender knew she needed cups why couldn't she have told someone get me cups? Overall just very bad experience and will never be coming back to this location!! read more

4 stars for the all you can eat boneless chicken wings! For ~20$ excluding tax and tip, endless boneless chicken wings with any cHoice of sides. Omfg!!! Great deal if you can eat at least 3 rounds of it! I tapped out at round 3! The chicken strip-like wings were HUGE and saucy! The waffle fries and tater tots were okay! It could've been a little more fried for extra crisp. Service was quick and friendly! I don't think I'll order the all you can eat deal again because I felt like garbage afterwards. Overall, I'll definitely come back again for the wings!! They have a vast variety of unique sauces and their wings are enormous. read more

We received our food at not even room temperature. When we made our waitress aware she said they would probably only be able to take our appetizers off. So 3/4 sent their food back to get remade and I put mine in a to-go box. Once the waitress came back she stated her manager could take my food off the ticket since I was not sending it back but took the others plate off the table. Only good thing that came out of this was food getting remade. I did share my concerns regarding the service and she just brushed it off stating hopefully the new food sufficed. I would like to point out the manager never came to address the table about our food and I've never had a bad experience at pluckers so I believe it's just the location. I've been to this location a handful of times and usually take advantage of getting in line through yelp- the only way to go on busy evenings imo. The service is always friendly and attentive. This last time we went my friend and I had a trainer and new server waiting on us and they both were super nice and personable. I usually get boneless wings with medium buffalo sauce with extra sauce on the side. The waffle fries are always on point and if you love Mac and cheese, you HAVE to try it from Pluckers. It's so good. Their sweet tea is also bomb. It tends to get pretty loud inside or if there are games going on. So if it's not super hot outside, I'd suggest sitting outdoors if you're not into that. read more

We decided to stop by on Friday before happy hour. We figured we would bet the rush, we did!! Awesome! Waitress comes takes order for drinks. Comes back with drinks and we place our appetizers and food order. I gave her the code for our free appetizers off the pluckers app. Like I am supposed to. We are enjoy the ambiance. 30-45mins go by...... our food and appetizers come out together....... Let me back track ... I had ordered the mozzarella sticks dipped in spicy lemon pepper. (1st they were not dipped in spicy lemon pepper.then I cut into it and find the cheese was no longer soft and melted) the cheese back to room temperature and rubbery. I let it be... I didnt complain. We got the bill. I am so glad I listened to my gut and checked the bill because our waitress never used the code for our free appetizers. Pluckers do better!!! Why offer pluckers members specials if you are not going to train your staff to correctly enter them. Pluckers was an overall decent restaurant. I am normally used to wing restaurants such as Buffalo Wild Wings and Wing Stop. Pluckers, however, gave me a totally different experience than I was used to at the other restaurants. To be honest, it really really surprised me. It surprised me at how bad the wings are here. The wings were actually horrible here, especially since it has to compete with Buffalo Wild Wings and other wing places. They were simply not up to par. The presentation of the wings themselves were also distasteful. The wings that were served to me came out on a metal plate that was about the size of my hand. It was not very appetizing to look at whilst I was eating. The wings were so bad that I had to order a different meal altogether and pawn of the failed wings to my brother. The burgers here were actually pretty good, which was surprising, considering the fact that the wings were so horrible. Personally, I ordered the Patty Melt that came with a side of tater tots. The patty melt was basically like any other patty melt I've ever eaten in my life, however the Pluckers one was in a much smaller quantity than other places like Whataburger. The taste of it was the one redeeming factor of the burger/sandwich. The wait to sit down and eat also took quite awhile. This was because it was on a Wednesday, which meant it was Trivia Night. This was also another factor that I found to be quite interesting as well as quite enjoyable for me to be a bystander and watch. Pluckers gives different prizes so Trivia Night isn't a complete waste. The servers were actually quite helpful as we placed our orders. The food came out rather quickly as well. My waiter especially was nice as some of my friends brought BWW's wings into the restaurant to eat. Lastly, we must look at the bathroom situation as it was probably one of my favorite ones. By that, I mean that it was extremely clean and well kept, as well as spacious. They also had TV screens behind the mirrors which meant that I could watch the Raptors absolutely schmeat the Warriors in the finals game. It is because of this bathroom experience alone that I give this place a 3 out of 5 stars rather than anything lower. In conclusion, the only real reasons that you should go to Pluckers is probably for their sandwiches, sides, service, and bathrooms, rather than their wings which were mediocre at best. read more

I've had the opportunity to visit 2 locations in Houston and the Friendswood one is my preferred location. The wait gets VERY long at the location in the heights and sometimes in Friendswood, so try getting in line on here first. It will really save you time. Now, the review of the Friendswood location. I have no major issues with any of my visits, just a couple minor things. When walking in, the first encounter is with the host staff who don't really welcome you in, but kind of wait until you speak to them and tell them your party number to be seated. The wait staff has always been very attentive each time so no complaints there. Every time I've ordered an alcoholic beverage it seems to take ages to come out but they taste ok despite the wait. The food is consistently just ok with fries being a hit or miss sometimes. I've never had hot food from there though. I only ever order wings and fries but everything always comes out room temperature. The experience is always "ok" but I keep coming back because everyone is always talking about how amazing the wings are. I'll probably still come back with the hopes that drinks and food don't take so long and I can finally see why all my friends love the wings from here so much. read more

I've been here several times and I've never had necessarily good service but tonight was definitely the worst. I never complain, I work in a restaurant myself so I'm very understanding. Our server was Kayla (I believe that's how it's spelt), and we arrived around 10:30pm. It took a while for someone to get us, but eventually another server got our drinks and appetizer. It took probably around 10-15 minutes to get our drinks, and Kayla said she would be back with our appetizer. She proceeded to walk over to the table next to us, which she gave much better service to than us, to take their order and converse with them. We received our appetizer, she says she'll be back with plates, and once she comes back she finally takes our order. She comes around to check on us once, where our friend asked her to check on her to-go order, as she had to leave and it took extremely long to even order. After this, we don't see her around for probably around 20-30 minutes, to the point our friend had to ask the host to please check on it. Friend is told the "kitchen just went slow on it." She then drops off the to-go order to us. The rest of our food doesn't come out until 11:45, which is when another friend asks for another strawberry margarita. She's told they got it and it'll be out, but never receives it. When she asks again, she's told last call was at 11:45, and is told she cannot get one. She was never told when last call took place, and the server wasn't around enough for us to ask anyway. We do speak to the manager as we're leaving, and she was very polite and offered solutions. However, it was very disappointing, especially because we could see her giving better service to the table next to us. Additionally, we got there with time but received our food 15 minutes before they closed, and they turned the lights on while we were still eating like we hadn't just received our food. We felt extremely uncomfortable and upset by the service, and I learnt they apparently add gratuity to parties of 6 or more, which is disappointing because we were dismissed and didn't even have time to comfortably eat due to the service we received. They have great food, but the lack of proper customer service makes me not want to return. I hope they can improve their customer service, and I hope Kayla can be talked to or retrained on how to treat her tables. Definitely a zero for service. read more

First off, let me say that our server Nikolai (spelling might be spelling it wrong) was very helpful. 5/5 service We started with an order of fried pickles. Generally, I am not a fan of pickle spears. They were fresh, and I was impressed by how well the coating stuck to the pickles. Usually with spears the crust falls off. The only reason to dock stars is that the ranch was watery 4/5. I ordered the Maple Chipotle and the Baker's Gold. Although, it was not suuuper hot, but I underestimated the heat. The baker's gold was like a regular hot wing, but with a tang to it that was definitely enjoyed, but...BUT. The sweet heat of the Maple Chipotle was delicious. The aroma of the wings upon arrival was tantalizing. 4.5/5 Waffle fries were fresh and crispy. No complaints. Great place. Great service. Clean bathrooms. Went in with my family to watch the hall of fame game and it took forever to be greeted by a server. We notified the hosts and immediately a manager( male with a beard) came by and spoke to us and let us know we'd be getting helped very soon and our server turn out to be great.
