Five stars even though we had a hiccup. Contacted three plumbers through yelp and two were able to come give bids. We needed a new water heater, three faucets installed and drainage from HVAC system reconnected so it wouldn't overflow. First bid came in and seemed fair. At first. Gabriel came over about 30 minutes later and his bid was 20% lower and since he was owner and seemed to know his stuff, so we went with him. He was flexible with timing. if you look at some of my other recent reviews, you can see we used a junk hauler and electrician on a house in Brea we are cleaning out and fixing up. Because of this we have painters, flooring etc etc and have to coordinate timing with all subcontractors. Gabriel was very flexible and worked with us to get the plumbing done quickly and efficiently. Job work was more than estimated because the house had 50 year old brass faucets that needed to be cut off with a reciprocating saw. Additionally he checked the drainage to make sure it was clear before connecting. This required him to use extra equipment that is normally used to detect slab leaks. He was able to figure out where drain lead to and cleared the drain. No extra charge for this. Nice. The only hiccup was the one of the faucets that we bought was defective and leaked. We bought the faucet online and had to wait for another one to be delivered. In the meantime, the water had to be shut off to the house. We had just reseeded the lawn and water was turned off to whole house and sprinklers instead of just inside. Unfortunately there was a mix up and plumber turned off water to whole house and lawn didn't get water for a couple of days. We'll see how it goes. We contacted Gabriel and he was very apologetic and offered to dummy faucet on until replacement arrived. Fortunately replacement faucet arrived at 3:00 and he installed it that afternoon. He sent pictures (we live in San Diego area) and everything looks great. Guys went through whole house and made sure everything was good with no leaks and everything working well. I was searching for plumbing services in my local area that are professional, reliable, respectful, in good standing and licensed. That is exactly what I found here. Originally, it was going to be approximately a two week wait before they could address the concerns, but I was willing to wait. I received a message from the owner fitting us in the following week. Appt date arrived, received a call letting me know the plumber would be arriving in 15 minutes and the plumber arrived in minutes. What I thought were small jobs that I could probably handle if I watched a few YouTube videos. But I recognized professionals were better equipped to handle the tasks. In walks Eddie. As it turns out...We needed more than the one facet handle repaired, shower valve installed and toilet reinstalled. Our values were frozen, facet was cracked from underneath the counter top, older homes come with their unique situations. With that be said Eddie presented the others areas that needed to be addressed and repaired that were needed to move forward. He walked us through the process, estimate came back quickly & we decided immediately to move forward with the work. A new facet was needed, which was delivered. I didn't need to go out and purchase one. Eddie took photos, sent it to another technician who searched for the same one and also presented options. I went with a slightly different option. Eddie took note that I was thinking of changing the fixtures to black and found a black facet as an option. I was reminded of the hard water here in La Habra and that it would show up. There was a bad leak in the irrigation pipes in my parents' front yard so we called Gabriel to get a free estimate. I called because I had a clogged kitchen sink. I tried fixing it by myself and it worked a little better but still filled up. After calling them to come out. 2nd time using Gabriel and his company, Expert Rooter. Within 24 hours, he was at my house to diagnose and fix my two toilets that seemingly had been leaking water. Gabriel set up a camera through the pipes and determined that there were obstructions caused by tree roots. He then hydro-jetted the roots and freed all debris from the pipes. Then sealed my two toilets. All done in less than 3 hours. I had to go back to work so Gabriel texted me photos of his work when he was finished. He didn't even have to send me pictures but I feel even more confident of his great work after seeing it for myself. I never want problems but if I ever have any, it's nice to know that Expert Rooter is just a phone call away.
