I called Plumbing Buddies on a Sunday morning because my water heater was overflowing. He told me on phone how to stop it, then scheduled an appointment within an hour with a one hour window, showed up on time, kept me posted on ETA. He dissuaded me from unnecessary improvements, and installed a new water heater. The work was done professionally and pleasantly. The very best plumbers I have ever experienced. Extremely reliable, courteous, and knowledgeable plumbers. Prices were something we could afford and not over-inflated. They fixed a long ongoing drainage problem with my bathroom sink. The P-Trap joint was replaced as it had a leak and appeared to be the original to the house. They also snaked the sink and bathtub completely through. A clogged toilet was fix as well. Really these guys are amazing and friendly. Jeremy was very responsive and reliable. I noticed my tankless water heater was leaking so I called him up at 8:30am in the morning. He answered and provided me with an estimated price range for a replacement unit but said if I provided pictures of my existing setup, he could provide a better estimate. I snapped some pics and sent them over to him. Within minutes, he sent me an estimate. The price was very fair so I approved and he informed me that he could show up between 12-1pm the same day. When he was running behind, he even texted to inform me of his new eta. Fantastic communication. The previous installation was not done right and Jeremy explained why and how he was going to do it differently. It made complete sense so I had confidence in his knowledge and expertise. I was disappointed with Mike and Jeremy, they came to access a water leak problem I was having and they said they would be able to do the job. They were very nice and seemed knowledgeable, I scheduled an appointment with them, but they did not show up!! they sub-contracted someone else to do the job, and was 5hrs. Late! He cut the bedroom wall open and repaired the leaking pipe, but left all trash on the floor, like the cut out pieces of drywall and insulation. Last Tuesday, I had to find a plumber who could install a garbage disposal right away. I had ordered one from HomeDepot with installation but the product never arrived and I was desperate to get my sink back as my old garbage disposal was leaking really badly. I saw Plumbing Buddies on Yelp with great reviews so I gave him a call. Jeremy answered and gave me a quote for a similar garbage disposal that I had originally ordered, plus installation. The best part was that he could come that same day to install it. He texted me when he was on his way and came at the early end of the time frame he had said he could come so I didn't need to wait too long. He ended up installing an even higher grade garbage disposal because he didn't have the one he quoted me on, in his shop. But he didn't charge me extra for it. That speaks to his integrity and honesty. He could have charged me more like a bait and switch, but he didn't and I appreciated it. I called Jeremy for a leak in the kitchen and guest bathroom drainage issue for my tenant. He was able to inspect the leak under the kitchen sink area (turns out it is a garbage disposable problem, so I have to call somebody else to fix). But Jeremy was not able to inspect the clotted drain in the guest bathroom. Apparently, there was misunderstanding between my tenant and Jeremy, so he left without having the opportunity to fix the clotted drain. I was going to pay Jeremy for coming out to check out the problems. He felt that since he didn't have the chance to complete his job, he did not want to accept payment from me. I felt bad for him for having to deal with my demanding tenant who was disrespectful, degrading, and unreasonable. I know what he went through because I have to deal with my tenant on a regular basis. I just hope whoever reads my review can give Jeremy a chance to prove to other that he is a competent and reliable plumber. Some customers are hard to please, no matter how professional and respectful you are to them. Business owners have to deal with customer's bad attitudes on a daily basis, so some of the negative comments might not be a true reflection of how good the companies are. read more

It was my first time using Plumbing Buddies. About a week ago, I had a small job, but one that could not be ignored - the line from the water heater was leaking. I had contacted a local Glendora plumber I had used on other occasions (a recommendation from a friend and he had positive reviews on Yelp). That guy showed up and refused to help, stating he would only do a larger job for four to five times the amount I could afford. He did not provide any alternative solutions for me. Jeremy and Mike are very friendly and professional. I hired them to replace an Toto toilet. We actually wanted to replace some parts in the toilet instead of replacing it but the toilet was obsolete and the part is very difficult to find and it's costly too. Jeremy decided that it's to my best interest to replace the toilet. Their price is very reasonable. They suggest a few toilets and I picked out the one that fit my criteria and budget. They purchased the toilet for me and show up on time. The first thing they did was to remove the old toilet. The original toilet was installed in a very strange way but Jeremy was able to work his magic and he was able to remove the old toilet without any problem. The new toilet was installed perfectly. I highly recommend this business!! Called for a broken indoor tankless water heater a couple of weeks ago. Took the day off of work to take care of it. They responded immediately, came on time, diagnosed the problem and clearly explained it to me. I was given a couple different options for replacing the unit including highest to lowest cost and was offered a payment plan. I ended up replacing the water heater and the price was not the lowest price but it was fair. I firmly believe you get what you pay for and I am satisfied that it was the right decision. The work was completed the next day and they even drove quite a distance in the opposite direction of my house to pick the water heater up so that I would not have to wait for it to be delivered over the weekend.
