He was able to get things situated enough for our convenience and came back in the morning to finish the all-day job. I had an incredibly poor experience with Flash Plumbing. I don't typically leave a negative review if only one aspect of my interaction doesn't go well. But repeated issues over the course of my experience left me feeling compelled to leave a review I initially requested a plumbing consultation on Yelp and indicated I would like a quote for replumbing my clients house. I'm a realtor helping my client purchase a home. I asked for a quote for supply and drain line replacement. I was called by their office and in subsequent texts we scheduled a 1pm. The texts mainly speak for themselves but below is a list of my grievances: - Scheduled a 1pm which they did not cancel until I repeatedly asked for confirmation. They did not cancel until 12pm - I was asked to send my clients inspection report. I was then given a call and they were attempting to upsell products which we had not requested. All without having actually seen the home. - The lady on the phone abruptly hung up on me after I asked for just a quote on the supply and drain lines as requested (to her credit she did apologize in the texts) - Scheduled a 2pm consultation in which they did not call or even mention until I texted again asking what happened. - Scheduled a 5pm consultation which again did not happen with no call. I understand if they were too busy. Which is why I gave them an opportunity to decline the work so I could find someone else. Overall I spent the entire day only to have nothing done. I called these people, canceled my other Plummer because this plumber quoted me a cheaper price and was available sooner, and set up an appointment, but they showed up not ready to do the job because they didn't have the right equipment, then threy said the job would be $50 more than they quoted me over the phone. Very irresponsible! they knew exactly what the job was. There was no new revolution that the job was bigger than explained over the phone. This Plummer needs to realize when people make appointments, they are rescheduleing their day to meet with them. To have the plumber show up and not do the job they came to do and to charge more than was quoted is absolutely unacceptable. read more

Update: Flash Plumbing was good to their word and came through in the end. It took longer than expected, but given the circumstances, I am very pleased with the outcome. They did all the landscaping needed and it came out looking perfect. I appreciate the extra effort they put in to make sure I was satisfied. Just had them out to my home in a pinch my bathtub spout was having issues and wouldn't budge to switch from shower to tub fill which of course was a no no for me being a single mother with a child that completely refuses to take a shower so I called them up same day which I was super stoked about because well same day services are not always available without it being an arm and a leg these days ..anyhow my tub spout is no longer an issue anymore And my daughter can continue her bath time adventures Thanks Guys ! We had a few plumbers look at our situation (involving 100 year old decrepid cast iron waste pipe, broken/root penetrating connections to the line leading to the city sewer, etc.,) they made suggestions and gave us estimates (one of whom we'd used before but had not been very responsive, very busy I suppose.) But when Daniel of Flash Plumbing showed up he explained everything he saw, agreed to a very reasonable price, and offered to get right on it. The next weekday the crew showed up early, got to work, and that evening they had replaced everything, even in the rain (they had to dig - andthen refill - two 4x4 holes about 5' deep)!! One of the large holes was refilled with wet soil, so as it dried (the next day) a small sink-hole formed. I emailed Daniel at Falsh and they were there withint the hour to fill it in, no problem. I was trying to uninstall a bathroom faucet for some time. It was stubborn and would continue to be stuck. I left it until it finally started to leak, so it was time to get it out of there. After another try doing it myself, I used yelp's get a quote feature. Daniel was prompt and had a good quote once I spoke with him. Others companies had higher quotes, refused to give a quotes completely, or would charge you just to dispatch someone to give you a quote in person. Long story short, Daniel and his crew responded quickly, made quick work of my stuck faucet, and even more quickly installed the new faucet. I called after 9PM the night before Thanksgiving for multiple backed up toilets draining into showers. They were here in probably 15 minutes. Very kind, respectful and explained everything they saw to me and had no problem picking up the phone to relay the information to my landlord as well. Our process starting with a clogged main line that happened at 9pm. After waiting an hour for our regular plumber to respond I gave Flash Plumbing a try. Daniel showed up in 30 mins and cleared the clog. We discovered the problem was bigger than the initial clog. The main line needed replacement. It's a long story which I won't tell, but short version -Daniel showed us clearly what the problem was with a camera, and explained the process to us & they did the work promptly.
