Paul is the only plumber that I would depend upon. I have hired other plumbers before for different jobs around my house, but they all failed in terms of performance and integrity. Pual put a new boiler in my house, worked on our bathroom and Kitchen's drain pipes, and here and there so forth. Paul is honest, and his prices are always fair. I always get three quotes from any contractor, but Paul normally happens to be in the middle or on the lower end. He responded fairly fast to my emergency call during the weekend. At one point during the Covid era, I couldn't reach him, so I had to hire someone else... oh boy... I realized how valuable Paul was. Ok, so before you go with any of the big names, hit up Paul first. Paul was able to come and do a same day estimate for us, and do the work on a Saturday. I had two people come and do an estimate before Paul came, and he came in at half of what they said. He communicated very well, with texts on his eta and also a formal emailed estimate and receipt. Here is the work he was able to do in about 3/4 of a day total: 1. Snake and plug a pipe at the back of the house that was used for grey water from a clothes washer. He also put a camera from this line and went all the way to the city sewer. Other people wanted $300 just to do the camera. 2. Totally revamp a kitchen sink drain with abs pipes. (See pic) 3. Install a hot water line and shutoff valve for a dishwasher. (See pic) 4. Cut and straight pipe an old drain for the dishwasher. 5. Helped me install the new dishwasher. First I must start off by saying Paul and Chris are absolutely amazing. My parents house was built in the 1950's and the steel pipes finally rusted. Brown water was coming out of the pipes. Paul was able to diagnose the situation immediately. Not only did Paul and Chris fix and replace our pipes, but they also; fixed a shower that had not been working for 4 years, replaced and fixed a broken toilet, and replaced the water hoses to our washer. I gave Paul a check for $2500 over two months ago as a down payment to do some work on my shower. He hasn't showed up since, and he ignores all our calls. I haven't filed any charges yet but this is a warning not to give him any payment in advance. We are seniors and trusted him. If I report him, charges would be more serious for scamming seniors.
