I hired Daniel based on his reviews and knowledge. I have a poorly installed sprinkler system that…read morehas leaked several times as pipes were not connected properly and several are exposed. Daniel came to "diagnose" the problem , which could be seen because the pipes had come apart and were above ground. The pipe needing replacement was easily accessible and approximately 10 ft. long. The estimate seemed fair because he stated he would repair the pipe and bury it as able. He did fix the pipe, but nothing was buried and he left the old pipe lying in my yard. When I complained, he stated that he didn't bury any piping because it would have increased the "scope of work". I paid $400 for one pipe replacement. His "remedy" was to offer to come remove the old pipe. I can't cut it into pieces small enough to fit in my trashcan. He didn't do this . Daniel replied to this review. He charged an initial fee for "diagnosis" of a visibly leaking pipe. This was supposed to be credited. The total was $400. I got a pipe fixed and left unburied in spite of the quote including this. Hi reference to the previous work is irrelevant. He had no responsibility for the exisitng state, which , as I said was poor. He fixed a leaking pipe. That's it. All arguments other than one leaking pipe being replaced, above ground, are not relevant nor do they justify charging $400.

First year Tom and company did my backyard, including designing and installing a waterfall that all of my neighbors would kill for! This year, we did a small update on the front yard, adding trees, bushes, and a lovely rockway path! Just love it! Tom has wonderful design ideas, and his teams are great to work with, including always leaving a clear worksite, and keeping me informed on next steps! You will love working with them!

Also was having a vinyl chain link fence to divide yard installed by them. Started on time, workers did the brickwork and turf well. Great employees. Then Tom showed up saying "my fence guy wants to do a wood/wire fence instead...he says it will still match your existing fence." I asked about price adjustment, he said it was more expensive but he wouldn't charge anything. This was a horrible decision. Fence looks like a middle school project. It took me a month to finally get Tom (owner) to come out. Stain was not complete, rough cuts were left as-is, latch didn't latch. When he finally came out, he had a ton of excuses. He "fixed" the latch by inserting a piece of wire to jimmy the latch. Told my wife that "the stain just looks different in the sun and it's completely stained (it's not). Told her the rough cuts and ripped/frayed edges were normal (I was out of town). I asked him to come back when I was home, it took almost two weeks to get him back. He told me the same, when I confronted him about the wire piece "fix" he said "not me". Said rough cuts/frays "can be filed but will change the look of the fence". I told him I wanted the fence re-stained and to have his office contact me with a date so I could be home. That was 2 months ago. I'm simply chalking it up to "shame on me for this choice" and doing the fix myself.

Cody also designed and installed a dry "river bed that we needed for functional and aesthetic reasons. He also removed a gravel walkway that we no longer needed. It's gorgeous! He is a hard working young man--wish I had a son like him. Cody also a great eye for detail and does exceptional work! Can't wait to add some plants and a few finishing touches along the dry riverbed that he created for us. Where should I start, I'll just list…read more.. 1) started later than agreed to and finished way past the stated work timeframe 2) artificial turf, was not finished along the edges where the turf meets the mulch, I had another company come out and finish the turf 3) several plants have died while others right next to them have thrived which tells me they were not planted correctly or the drips are not near the plants roots. Also, when they plant they do not use any kind of soil amendment like most companies automatically include. 4) Edges of the turf have been consistently peeling up along the pavers, not sure if this is the high-quality turf I paid for or a cheap imitation, but I never had this happen on prior turf that I had installed that looked as good as new 6 years after it was installed 5) one of the irrigation low voltage lines was cut, and when this was pointed out to him, he stated I probably did it. He worked out a cheap workaround with a battery operated timer (not connected to the one in the garage) to get the backyard irrigation running. The junction box was not buried like it should be but left on top of the mulch with exposed wires. Valves stopped working about six weeks later and when I contacted him, he said it was not under warranty, but he could come out and repair it. I hired another company to come out and fix it, and they indicated that the work was some of the worst that they had ever seen. Speaking of irrigation, I have a leak somewhere as you can see in one of my photos where the water is still running and the drips are off and I have one area where the connection came apart and had to repair it myself. I'll be having the sprinkler company come out to bury the junction box, fix the leak, and fix the area where they connected the drip system to the sprinkler head. (Great company by the way) 6) as soon as he had finished the work he was demanding payment. He was contacting me repeatedly, and I felt his tone was somewhat hostile. I told him I wanted to check everything out before paying him and when I did, I found out that the irrigation in the back was not working. He still demanded payment stating he had workers to pay and I told him I wasn't going to pay until he fixed the irrigation. I agreed to pay him part of what I owed, and I would pay him the balance when the irrigation was working. A week later he did his "work around". 7) communication was very poor throughout the project. The six day project ended up taking over three weeks and was incomplete when I had family visit in town which he knew about prior to starting the job. These are just some of the reasons why I do not recommend this company in anyway . I've done a lot of renovations in the many homes I have owned, this is by far the worst contractor I've ever worked with.
