I can't pass up checking a new spot when it recently opens up and it's nice to see something different. Not too many Poké Bowl places around in the area. Went in and the place is very clean and the service was very nice. Ordered one of their signature bowls, the volcano bowl. I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of toppings and definitely plenty of protein. A bit heavy on the amount of rice but I have to say it was quite needed. If you order the volcano bowl be aware that it is quite spicy. The sauce isn't too intense but the amount of fresh jalapeños in it got me. They mix in some pickled cabbage and some cucumbers to help bring in some cool freshness to ease the spice. But overall very delicious! And for $18 I would say it wasn't bad at all. Would most definitely come back again to satisfy the craving.

I was there when this place did a soft opening and it was great! Fresh seafood but I wish they were more generous with seafood and also more veggies wouldn't hurt either. Def will come back again!

RUN DO NOT WALK!!! This was my first Po-KAY experience and it was amazing!!! The owner was extremely friendly and walked us through everything they offer. When I tell you everything tasted so fresh and had so much flavor!!! We both had one of their signature bowls on their menu and everything just popped with flavor!!! We also had some crispy rice with spicy tuna and it was so good!!! Every single sauce they offer they make in house and it was so good. The spicy mayo and the sesame ginger sauce was so good!!! The owner also let us taste different items that you can put the salad. I tried the seaweed salad and it had such great flavor and brinyness too it. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other stuff they have. We tried different samples of their pork belly and pineapple chicken and every thing is just so good. I'm so mad I just found out this place has been open for a year already. They gave us some fried Oreos on the way out and my wife lost it. This place is a gem and I will definitely be back. Definitely good for a date night or a good place to take your wife postpartum to just enjoy. It is right across from Mainland hospital in Galloway NJ!!! My first poke experience will be one to remember!!! I am hooked lol -- eating lunch with Elizabeth Butler at Pó-Kay .

When we got there we were shooed away and in passing were told they closed at 8pm. When we tried to just let the worker know their hours are wrong on Google we were ignored and walked by multiple times. Until, a worker came over and explained to use we should just call in the future to check hours. We totally understood they were closed but we were just trying to let them know the hours were wrong so they could fix them so no one else had to go through what we did. After we left I then saw on Yelp it says they close at 7:30pm. Hours are inconsistent and confusing to figure out when they actually close. It is a shame because we love the food and always buy sauce when we come but the service we received today was really disappointing.

My lunch arrived promptly, and every item that I had requested was accurate. We were lucky enough to have extra utensils available at our work location, since utensils were not provided in the bags. The Kalua Pork was tender and had a great smoke flavor. The beef was rich, full of flavor and paired perfectly with plain rice. The dish was simple but delivered exactly what I wanted in a quick, filling Hawaiian Style meal! I really enjoyed that it was easy to order from Mahalo Hawaiian BBQ. They have large portions with great flavor, and they are super simple to get an enjoyable lunch. We didn't eat it at the restaurant. We had it at the office. The only miss of the night was the house-made chips: while tasty, they were surprisingly hefty and filled us up a bit too much before the main course, which cut into our appetites. For my entree, I had the pecan-encrusted Atlantic salmon. The coating was flavorful without overpowering the fish, and the salmon itself was tender and perfectly cooked. Others in our family ordered poke bowls and loved them. They had super fresh ingredients and generous portions. We skipped dessert at the restaurant since there are so many excellent ice cream options just a short walk away, but we left very satisfied. The staff was friendly, the service was prompt, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Even without a water view, Ohana Grill ended up being our top-rated restaurant of the week-long vacation, and we're already planning to come back on our next trip to Lavallette.

To make a long story short, the food was very good--creative, flavorful, and well worth the praise. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by the excessive smoke and heat coming from the open kitchen. I'm not sure who designed the ventilation system, but it clearly isn't working properly. There was a visible haze of smoke throughout the dining room, our eyes were watering, and everyone at our table was uncomfortably warm. I felt especially bad for the kitchen and wait staff, who have to work in those conditions every day. By the time we got home, all of our clothes smelled like smoke and had to be washed. It's a shame because the food was so good, but the ventilation issues really detracted from what should have been a memorable meal. Come on, guys--please fix it!

I ordered the Akamaru Modern Ramen, the BBQ short rib plate, and the mango shaved ice everything was absolutely delicious. The short ribs were incredibly tender and flavorful, paired perfectly with rice and their macaroni salad, which is surprisingly SO good because I normally don't even like macaroni salad from restaurants. The ramen was rich, comforting, and full of flavor as always. The mango shaved ice was refreshing and came topped with popping mango pearls and mochi, which made it even better. The ambiance is nice bright and decorative. Clean. The service is always great, and Jimmy always remembers me and is so welcoming every time I come in. The ladies in the front are pleasant and everyone teams up to ensure you have a pleasant dining experience. Everybody I've brought here ends up loving this place too. My total was about $55, and since I paid cash, I even got a little discount, which was a nice bonus. Definitely one of my favorite spots! If you go, I hope you enjoy it like I do.

When we called in to confirm that the Udon noodles do NOT have egg (as we have a child with an egg allergy), the woman taking our order curtly said "I threw out the box, it's white, you have to look for yourself." When we mentioned we do not know the brand to look, she replied "me neither, I threw out the box." Needless to say - the food is great, but honestly, the family owned business officially sucks. There's a way to respond to things and that just isn't it. Especially as someone taking orders. So thank you for ending this streak for us. The crap service made it easy to make this place a 1 star.

We were thinking of getting food from a truck, but when you have 3 kids under 5, and its cold, you need to sit down for a few minutes lol! The staff greeted us warmly as soon as we walked in. We got a table and it was clean, and we were happy lol! Kids got to relax, so did we. Our server could have been a bit more attentive, there were only 3 tables, and she never seemed there, and she checked the other tables more than us.... so that is why I dinged them 1 star. Food was pretty solid, it was better than average pizza, and typical fried food like chicken fingers and fries. The kids enjoyed it though lol! They also shared a penne vodka, it was good. It needed something, it was just there... if you know what I mean. Wife and I each got small pizzas and they came out fast enough. She got CBR and it was pretty good. I got the seafood one with mine shrimp and garlic, I liked it! It could have been a bit crispier, and more garlic, but I am a garlic fiend!!! Other than that, it is a typical pizza-talian restaurant lol! They all look the same after awhile. Prices were good, service could have been better, and pretty good food. Its a great place to stop for a slice.

The ones we had in Hawaii had a spicy kick at the end. These were comparably good. One flavor all around. No spicy after kick. The Kalua Pork and Cabbage was spicier than what we had at Hawaii. It actually tasted better. They added ginger and it was spicy. I liked the Taiwanese cabbage better than what we had in Hawaii, which was regular cabbage. The ribeye steak ramen was good as well. It makes me want to try the rib eye entree. I like the black pepper flavor. I took the steak out as soon as it served, so it would not cook anymore in the broth. I was impressed that they made it medium rare. The chicken broth was not too salty, which it can be in other places, so I was pleased that it wasn't. The menma bamboo was crunchy. Many places have it too soft. The black seaweed/wood ear like topping was also crunchy. The wavy ramen noodles were perfectly QQ or all dente. There were two doors to open at the entrance. Handicap accessible. No steps. Two gender neutral restrooms. Spacious. Handicap accessible. We found street parking right out front. We came at 7 PM on a Monday after the dinner rush. Our server was very attentive. He also answered all my questions. I asked it they were Pulehu Ribs. When he did not know, he went to ask his colleague. I would come back for the same dishes, get a bigger order of the short ribs, and try the garlic shrimp. Definitely a new staple for us. Before going to Hawaii, we never had Hawaiian food before. This was a good way to revisit our vacation!
