My associate across from me ordered crab Rangoon (an appetizer) you would also think that would come out first, right? WRONG. Everybody finished eating in the crab Rangoon's are still not here. REDEMPTION! The Ginza experience in person was so much BETTER than delivery...given, my last review as in 2021. Much time for improvement. The restaurant is quite large with 8 hibachi tables (wowzers!), plus lots of regular dining tables and even traditional dining pods (i'll call them). We came in crew deep with 15 people! *sheeeesh* Naturally we took up 2 hibachi tables. The staff was really great and patient with our large group, which included 5 children under the age of 5. Hubs and I shared a sushi roll, which I was reluctant to try after my last couple experiences, but like I said, ReDeMpTiOn! We got the Atlantic City Roll and it was delicious! Everyone got a variety of hibachi options. Personally, I went with the steak and chicken. The chicken was a little overcooked, but that's ok (better than undercooked!). The kids loved the fire and their never ending large portions of yummy food. The restaurant was kind enough to give all the kids ice cream on the house in exchange for our group participating in some promotional video. Now that's service! I'm ready to truly give the sushi another go ahead in the near future...stay tuned for another update! read more

So I went in for my birthday and did the hibachi. The food was a 10/10 I love hibachi food but not every place taste the same. This was phenomenal though. I have ordered sushi from here many times as well and it's also well prepped and so yummy. The service was great they were quick and really kind. They were very attentive to us and made sure we felt comfortable. The ambiance was great not to bright of lighting and also not to dark they had it set perfectly. read more

Came in and ordered sushi around 6 PM. Waiter takes me and my friend's order for sushi, by 6:30 PM all of my friends who didn't order sushi have their entrees. After waiting until 7:15 (around 45 minutes for our food!) we keep trying to flag down our waiter but he ignores us. My friend's sushi comes but mine still isn't there. Our waiter is still ignoring us, and a different busser helps us and tells me that the kitchen didn't get my order. I get my food around 7:40, more than an hour after I ordered. Then, our waiter comes 10 minutes later!! We tell him my food was late and he gave us no apology. We continue to try to get our checks and bags for our food: the waiter never helps us and the busser does everything. The busser gives me a 20% discount. I understand that it was a simple mistake, but the waiter was incredibly ignorant and 20% for waiting over an hour for raw food is insane. I feel bad for the busser for doing all of the work of the waiter. I never leave reviews, but I was very disappointed. To be honest, the food wasn't even that good for the price. read more

We've been going to Ginza since day one and supported this business through many different incarnations. Over the last year the quality of their food has greatly improved. Outside of the very expensive Kuro restaurant at Hard Rock, Ginza is maybe the only option in Atlantic County for outstanding sushi as opposed to the more kind of grocery store level sushi that is common in this area. In addition to the food getting much better, the ambiance had a major glam up in the past week - all new tables and very comfortable and stylish chairs, all new, branded dishes and bowls. Had a hilarious mix-up at Ginza - ordered steak and shrimp hibachi, got steak and chicken instead .. with literally ONE SHRIMPY - still DELICIOUS . The spicy shrimp roll was banging, and the red bean tempura and green tea tempura were so good, they should come with a warning label. Highly recommend this pomade, oops, I mean place! Everything as wrapped beautifully and I received it quite quickly and ordered a bit later - for being my first time ever ordering out I am quite impressed ! read more

I ordered futo maki roll, not bad, but don't know why they ain't put tofu skin inside‍ otherwise it tastes better. Also I don't like chicken tempura rolls, I asked waiter " that's the only chicken rolls on menu"‍ wish they can have chicken teriyaki rolls. Chicken tempura too dry and no favors. Pictured are the Tuna Dumplings and Kani salad. The tuna "dumplings" (*on special) was most similar to crabmeat wrapped in tuna. The dish included sweet potatoes strips that offered the dish a crunch to counter the texture of the tuna and crab. A unique twist on a classic dumpling dish. The Kani salad is hit or miss. Sometimes is very spicy and sometimes it's more mild. Flavor is chef contingent. Parking-ginza is located within a strip mall so there is plenty of parking. Service- I've visited Ginza many times. The level of service is fairly consistent. If you're looking for sushi and less involved service, Ginza is your spot. I believe the servers pull there. This is the first visit for me to G J R and it did not empress, steak hibachi was ordered medium rare, and came out very well done, sent it back and it came back medium well with no seasoning at all... Shrimp shumai tasted like frozen commercial type. On the plus, our server was very nice, and the miso soup was a little salty, but tasty, and the side salad was good. The best way to describe Ginza is inconsistent. I have gone some days and loved it, and other days I have gone and wished I hadn't. Today I had a relatively good experience. I got a shrimp tempura roll and spicy crab roll. Both were decent. Our server was nice, but for some reason we felt like she was rushing us to leave while we were literally still eating- which is never fun. Overall, I'd give today a 3/5 experience. read more

A lot of changes happened here. They're limiting capacity heavily, and it's basically empty. Temperature checks via a wall scanner as soon as you walk in, and tables are socially distanced. The all-u-can-eat is gone, and it's a bit more pricey now to eat here compared to other sushi restaurants - However, quality and flavor ratings do not go down at all with this more recent visitation. Everything is still very fresh and delicious, the food comes out screaming hot, and everything keeps drawing you in to just want more. It's addicting to keep going with it, and if you're not careful, the price per person could easily stack up to be higher than $50... Along with a mountain of small platters. At the end of the night, everyone working here was very polite and gave service with a smile, even under the masks. This is still my favorite place to be, although I hope they bring back the all-u-can-eat; it was too fun getting a big wooden sushi ship with 5 people ordering on those slips. WE LOVE JOE. Best server ever and has a super cool vibe. He explained what items were on the menu that we were unsure of while also giving his opinions on things he liked. The food here is reasonably priced with awesome portions. I LOVE CRAB RAGOON. The fried ice cream is also so delicious and yummy. They even have personal booths wich are awesome. I've been coming here since the all you can eat days (Unfortunately, they no longer offer it) and it's time I gave it a review. Ginza has been a staple in Egg Harbor Township since the early 2000s. They have cute booths where you can take your shoes off and sit in so they offer some privacy for a romantic dinner if you wish. The sushi is good but nothing incredible. I took my partner here on Valentine's Day. We started with the Pork Gyoza and Edamame. The Gyoza was filling but the edamame was pretty plain. For dinner we went all out with the serious sushi platter (No, it's not the actual entree, we just got a lot of sushi). The service is quick and efficient. The restaurant now has a bar and offers a variety of alcoholic beverages as well as happy hour. However, I much rather preferred the all you can eat over the bar but I can see why the restaurant made this business decision. read more

My family and I have been coming to Ginza for almost 15 years! My mom loves to order the hibachi shrimp and for years I ordered the hibachi steak -- it's so delicious! The fried rice and sauteed vegetables that come with it are also awesome. The sushi is delicious too! Now that I'm vegan, I order the avocado roll, mixed vegetable roll, and cucumber roll. Ginza has been staple for us down at the shore and we always look forward to eating there! read more

I've been coming here since before Covid, and used to really enjoy it. Food is always good, and plentiful, especially for a lower price point compared to most "Japanese steakhouses." The last year or two it's really gone downhill. Been here twice in the last month, and tonight confirmed it for me, I won't be coming back. Female bartender with dark hair and tattoos running around the restaurant with EDM music playing off her phone in back pocket, and when at the bar cursing across the restaurant "I have to work for my shit" on a Saturday night with children all over the dining room. She ran drinks to a hibachi table near by, and when guest wasn't happy with it, she blamed the server and how they rang it in, and corrected the server in front of guests loud enough I could hear from the smaller tables upfront, other server stayed professional. Seemed like the BT was trying to embarrass the other team member. No manager in sight from 6:30-8ish. We were sat next to dirty tables that were never cleared by the time we left the restaurant, and staff were just using the tables as a dumping ground. It's a shame because of how long people waited up front to be sat, and how much potential business walked in, and left without being sat or even greeted by a team member. Can't blame them, the room looked like a mess. Server Zoe, was hustling despite not having the presence of a server, and did not stop working. Younger girl who was packing to-go's and answering the phone up front seemed like the only person in the restaurant who cared about the guests experience/perception. If the restaurant is really struggling this bad to find a competent manager consider her for a promotion. Get rid of that BT. She created awkward and uncomfortable moments for my party and other guests in the restaurant, and seems to be a confrontational thorn in the side of the few competent team members you have. read more

We've been to the Ginza on English Creek a few times and it's always been ok. Out of curiosity, we decided to try the one on Black Horse Pike to see if it was any better. This location is smaller than the English Creek location. It also felt less clean. We chose the AYCE option. The appetizers came out pretty quickly, but they forgot several items. We had to ask a few times for our drinks and missing food. The waiters were inattentive. After our appetizers, we had to wait a good hour+ for the sushi to come out. We were only a party of two, so our order wasn't huge. The food quality is the reason why this establishment deserves 1 star rather than 2. The fish definitely didn't taste fresh at all. We also found a hair on the plate. There's not many options for sushi around the area, but if you're really desperate for AYCE sushi nearby, you're probably better off going to the English Creek Ginza instead. read more

Been awhile since I've been to Ginza but just went again recently with friends. We had a party of 7 people and they were able to easily accommodate. The place was pretty casual, paper menus were scattered on the table for us to look it. My fiancé and I shared the sushi deluxe, the Kani salad, Hawaii roll, and another special roll. The sushi quality overall is mid level, nothing to rave about, but expected considering the location used to (or maybe still does? Not sure) all you can eat sushi. The prices aren't too bad, but for the same price you can definitely find better in the cherry hill area. At the end of the day, the place is casual and has average sushi. We went in on a Friday evening and the place was mobbed. We sat at the bar, after a little wait for their happy hour. You could tell the bartender (Starr) was super busy, but she took a quick minute to welcome us and take our drink and food order. As we sat waiting for meal, Starr was slammed with bar orders as well as preparing all the drinks for the rest of the restaurant. Starr was making drinks and delivering drinks to tables and bar patrons like it was nobody's business, all while making sure her bar customers were taken care of, and without any help. If you are looking for a restaurant with excellent food for a great price with even better service, look no further! We stopped at this quaint location on our way home from Atlantic City. This was one of the few restaurants that was still open at 9 when we were passing through. After calling multiple restaurants and being denied due to their last seating being an hour before closing, we were welcomed to Ginza enthusiastically. The service from that point forward was prompt, the staff was kind and food was all fresh and delicious. Our server was a huge help in guiding us through their extensive menu and assisting us in making choices we would enjoy. Servings were very generous and reasonably priced. For those who have been hesitant to eat out during COVID, I would highly recommend letting this be your first dinner out. Staff made a concerted effort with PPE, wearing both masks and face shields the entire time we were present. Upon seating you are even given a bottle of sanitizer! On our way out, we mentioned that we still had a few hours to drive before we would be home, and they ran inside and brought us fresh water bottles. If you want to have a meal that will leave you feeling full and satisfied that you've helped a small business that is incredibly grateful for your support. Went for the all you can eat sushi lunch. Lunch is $18.95 a person and is BYOB. Great selection of rolls. Menu is different from the dinner selections but has plenty of options. Sushi was fresh and made perfect. Service was lacking. Waiter wasn't very attentive and we had to wave him down a few times. Private seating if you wish just note it is required and a custom that you remove your shoes before entering seating area. Regular tables and hibachi seating are also available. read more

Very solid dinner! Many all you can eat sushi places skimp on the size of the sashimi pieces making them unappetizing or so small that the texture is lost. Not this place! Kitchen items, hibachi, and an extensive sushi menu makes this place a great option for picky eaters (as long as someone is going to get sushi). Would love to visit more often - if only they weren't two hours away. Would be happy to give this place 5 stars if I end up visiting a few more times and it's just as good each time. My go to place when it comes to sushi and sashimi in this area. I won't argue if you say not the best sushi you've ever had, but you get the most bang for you buck with above average quality. Last night was a special occasion for my family at Ginza. We have a party of five, and we pre-order our special orders (and yes, you can ask them for items not on the menu if you request ahead. Of course, it also depends on availability of the items). Anyway, we had lobster sashimi, giant clams, fatty salmon and yellowtail, Hamachi Kama (yellowtail collar) and lobster miso soup. After a long night of drinking and clubbing, my family friends and I were really craving sushi and came across this place from yelp. The place was about 15 mins away from the casino so it wasn't that far of a drive. Half the restaurant was hibachi and the other half was sit down. We decided to do the sit down since it was all you can eat sushi and that was also including the food from the kitchen. We ordered about 6 special rolls, lots of sashimi and a whole lot of food from the kitchen such as sumai, goyoza, chicken katsu, fried calamari, and udon soup. All the food that they served was really tasty and the sashimi was probably the freshest sashimi I've ever had. Also the portion size of the sashimi was perfect. Would definitely recommend this place if you're ever in the mood for sushi and also it doesn't get that crowded as well. read more

All you can eat variety of Asian delicacies. Japanese, Chinese, Thai, American. Ah, Ginza! This place doesn't disappoint! My SO and I came late around 9:15 pm on a Sunday. I actually called and asked them when they closed (10pm) and asked if it was okay for a party of 2 to come in. We were able to sit in one of the booths! The ambiance is Japanese style. You're supposed to take off your shoes, something or everyone is used to when they're eating but if you have socks, you're good to go! We were given menus and paper for the all you can eat buffet. Well of course, we took the paper and went "gung-ho" on this. Make sure you read the fine print on sushi, maki, etc. Some can say per roll (6 pcs), or just sushi (1 pc). Even so the gyoza, calamari as well. The selection is very broad. There is a section of salads- Kani, seaweed, spicy seaweed salads for example. Soup - miso, chicken udon, seafood udon. (I choose the seafood udon and he got the Miso ) As for the sushi, between the two of us we had ordered probably 6 rolls and 6 sashimi all together. Timing was just right. We got our soup first, appetizers (gyoza) and then the sushi. Topped it all off with red bean and green tea ice cream with fried banana on the side. Wow! The quality is decent. Since they are made to order, and- it's around 9:30pm, the sushi and sashimi was just right. Considering my Bf is from NY and has been to some of the best sushi places, he said it was pretty decent. Thank goodness! Rated this 4 stars due to my gyoza being a tad bit cold. The sushi was decent - can't complain on $25 pp all you can eat. Enjoy! This place is also BYOB.
