More importantly, service & food. Kat is a Rockstar bartender- super sweet and attentive; for locals and new patrons..that's never lost on me. Icing on the cake - she knows the menu and makes great recommendations. Stuck with me this long - you're doing great! Let's get to the food. The wings are bangin. Beer and wings is enough to come here for. Draft list is solid. But the wings rock. However, grandma's meatball is why I'll come back here. Holy shi*t. I don't know how to even describe it. Must have caught em on an off night I normally have great service at the bar but Sunday night was not good. Waited 15 minutes for a glass of wine all awhile the bartender was taking selfies and chatting with other customers. Eventually I had an unwelcome feeling so I left Last few visits were good, good food, good service, nice people but unfortunately not on this visit. Service is a big part of why customers return again and again but after tonight's visit I am not sure about returning. Stumbled across Hangtime based on our hotel stay and at the end of a long day out and about needed a quick find for a family dinner to end the day. The restaurant was clean and looked great upon entering. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good and priced well for the portions. We visited on a Saturday night, and while the service was initially slow--no one came over for a while--we didn't mind too much. I went up to ask for menus, and we decided to order just appetizers. Unfortunately, that's where the real issues began. Every single appetizer was worse than the last, leaving us disappointed and concerned. We ordered three appetizers: Hot & Honey Tails ($13): Described as boneless chicken strips battered in hot and honey sauce, served with a side of bleu cheese. Crab-Avocado Tostadas ($16): Crabmeat with avocado, mayo, tomato, onions, served on fried corn tortillas, topped with sour cream. Popcorn Shrimp ($10). The pictures I took truly tell the story. The Hot & Honey Tails were suspect--chewy and unappetizing, with a texture that made us question the quality of the chicken. The Crab-Avocado Tostada was especially disappointing, looking like it was made with canned crab and drizzled with an unappealing sriracha mayo. It was so poorly presented that I urged my boyfriend not to eat it because I didn't want him to get sick. Lastly, the Popcorn Shrimp was all fried flour, with barely any shrimp inside. It was like biting into fried air. We did bring up our concerns, not because we wanted anything comped, but because the food genuinely looked and felt like a health hazard. The restaurant did comp the cheapest appetizer, which was very kind of them to do, and we appreciated that gesture. FINALLY! Consistent drinks, amazing margaritas & great bar pizza in Galloway!!! Stopped here on a whim. As a Galloway local, I'd given up on every other place in town. Hang time is slightly out of way but stopped here after a sporting event with other parents. Came back for a third time this month & can't say enough about the consistency in food and drinks. Mostly a local hang out with a good crowd during happy hour and weekends. This place gets pretty busy come late afternoon. It mostly consists of a huge bar in one room, hence the name. There are some tables alongside the bar and some high tops. Separate dining room with booths. Nice atmosphere and food is very good. I had one not so decent meal there. That is why I gave it four stars. Hey, everyone entitled to a bad day. Drinks are tasty and nice and cold. What more could you ask for? read more

We went here for a really quick lunch in between classes. We were in and out in 40 minutes. The service was excellent. Visited with co-workers for a quick lunch. Although I live in the area, I've never been. It's pretty big with a section for sitting for a more formal dinner and the other side with a car and high top tables for a more casual experience. We sat at a high top table. I had a tropical mango drink and my coworkers had a raspberry crush. I ordered wings and fries. Both were very good. Our server was nice too. Will return for dinner and see how that goes! Trip #1 - Eat In Nachos w/Chicken - Pulled Pork Sliders - French Dip The sliders come three to an order. One of the sliders did not have the apple slice on it and the other two had the apple slice but came out with zero of the braised red cabbage slaw. What was there was good, it's just that none of three sliders had all of the components. The French Dip is also interesting. Plenty of Au Jus for dipping and cheese melted on the sandwich but the meat was super tough like a canine rawhide chew toy. Instead of sliced beef, it was more like two dry tough chunks shoved into the roll. The nachos were the nachos. Hard to mess that up. Trip #2 - Takeout While we were there for trip #1 being somewhat underwhelmed by what hit the plates, we noticed a lot of people at the bar ordering pizza and commenting on how good it was. I wish we would have known that earlier, but whatever. This time we called ahead for some takeout pizza. The process for picking it up was very easy. One call, ten minutes to pick up and they were waiting at the front host area. The pizza was very good. Nice cheese to sauce ratio, soft crust and the extra oregano we asked for was included. Perfect. Overall Hangtime is good enough. Nothing special, just solid no frills food served up fast the same as many other similar, in concept, places on the White Horse Pike. read more

One thing I love about Hangtime is i've never had to wait- i've always been sat immediately. With that being said, I do think this place is often overlooked because their location is a little hidden off to the side of the pike. The staff is always friendly. The bar has darker lighting which I personally enjoy; it makes for a relaxing environment. Two of my friends and I stopped in for drinks and a quick bite. As far as drinks go, all three of us were disappointed. The drinks were either too strong or way too watered down- no happy medium. But, as far as food goes, we were all super satisfied. I got the south of the border burger which was amazing- finished every bite. It came with lettuce, tomatos, guacamole, pico de gallo, and feta cheese. The burger was also cooked exactly to my request which is always much appreciated. And the fries? SO good. My friends got the crab avocado tostados and wings which they both also really seemed to enjoy. Overall, it was unfortunate that we did not like our drinks, but the environment, service, and food definitely made up for it. We will all definitely be back again. read more

Drinks were horrible! I order a house margarita. It was horrible, so then I changed to and got a better tequila .Still it was horrible. My food was OKAY.... I had the chicken Capresee . My daughter and husband had the cheeseburgers they didn't like theirs . they both said it tasted strange . So we told our server she was very nice and felt bad but she didn't cook the food or make the drinks.It was not her fault. I went here with my girlfriend on a Saturday night. We didn't have to wait to be seated, which was great! This was my first time here and I was really impressed by the overall decor inside. I ordered the hang time burger and my girlfriend ordered the chicken caprese sandwich. We both enjoyed our entrees! It was a very good burger so I would definitely order it again. Okay so decided to give this place a shot been riding pass for years.. went with the spinach and crab dip $17.00 and no crab .. I ask the girl working the front why do they charge for crab if there is none in the dip she than goes on to tell me that it is crab meat in it and that would be false advertisement if it wasn't... it's all good because I know it's not her fault but please don't serve me creamed spinach and call it crab dip!! We came here for an Eagles Playoff game and had such a great time! There are TVs everywhere and the staff is super attentive and accommodating with the channels and the sound. All the food came out perfectly done. Sauce was good, burger was cooked to temp perfectly, pizza was crispy and good. The experience including our waitress was amazing.
