Nice and friendly service, including chefs and waiters. Many options on menu, fair price for all of them. Big parking lots and nice and clean dining room, also good for gathering and parties.

We had an excellent meal and experience at Rakuzen. Peak lunch hours - the service was timely and great. Especially the super warm and friendly wait staff with their smiles! The AYCE menu at $39.99 (less $5.00 current promo) is a great solid deal for exploring the big menu of hot kitchen food, salads, soups, noodle, entrees, sushi, rolls and sashimi. Generally we don't fill up on things like fried rice or noodles - so we selected several hot dishes and lots of great sushi and sashimi. The hot kitchen food was all served freshly cooked and piping hot! While everything was good - some of our faves were the Age Tofu, Shrimp Tempura, and Green Mussels. The sushi (nigiri) and sashimi were all very fresh and generous in fish cuts. We got Yellowtail, Salmon, Tuna, Red Snapper, Squid, Octopus, Ikura etc. For an AYCE - this is the best quality and service we've ever had. Nothing felt rushed or shorted, and everything was clean and fresh - something somewhat rare when it comes to buffets or AYCE. The best part was definitely the exceptional service - the kindest smiles from the wait staff! We hope Rakuzen can maintain their prices and their quality and service - if so, we will definitely make this a top go-to pick!

Newly opened at Hamilton Mall. This is the same owner from Osaka upstairs! The food is similar to Osaka but additional items on the menu: pad thai, fried rice, takoyaki, salmon skin, etc. the ambiance is pretty simple- open kitchen, Japanese music, lots of seating and some fishes on the wall haha. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Right now they have a promotion for $5 off! Don't miss out.

Visited Sakura Japanese Steak, Seafood... while in Atlantic City for my daughter's birthday…read more I ordered the chicken and filet mignon hibachi combo. The food itself was cooked well, but the experience just didn't hit the way hibachi usually does. The chef was kind of flat, no real energy or entertainment, which honestly is half the fun when you go for hibachi. No swallowing sake, no catching veggies in our mouths... it just felt very toned down. My kids were also visibly unimpressed, which says a lot. Food wise, I was a little disappointed there were no noodles included, and I noticed the person next to me got a noticeably bigger portion of rice than I did. Not a huge deal since I'm cutting carbs anyway, but still something you notice. I did still pass him a $20 tip because the chef did cook everything properly, even if the vibe wasn't there. (Please be aware to tip your hibachi chef separately from the server!) My sister tried a few things too and said the avocado rolls were actually really fresh and stood out. She also got shrimp and filet mignon hibachi and felt it was decent overall, just underwhelming. She mentioned the dessert situation was odd too, which I agree, only plain cheesecake on display that didn't look too appealing. I'd would have liked some fried matcha icecream or something dang. Service was okay but there was a bit of a language barrier with the waitress which made communication a little tricky. The interior also felt pretty minimal and not very decorated, which added to the lack of atmosphere. Overall, it wasn't bad, just very average. I'm used to hibachi in NY and CT where the experience is way more lively and engaging. If I'm in the area again, I wouldn't go back.

The chef did a good job cooking, but the experience felt a little flat since he lacked personality. Hibachi is usually as much about the entertainment as it is the food, so that was a bit of a letdown. Also, there was only one dessert plain cheesecake & it didn't look appealing especially displayed sitting on a rotating tray. The waitress had a language barrier which was kind of hard to communicate & she was having a hard time understanding me. The interior lacked decor & felt pretty minimal. Overall, not bad, but there's def room for improvement.

It's been awhile and I saw the same smiling faces as I walked in. Some things never change…read more And, the fact that the dining area hasn't changed brought my rating down because frankly the dining area is old and more like a supply storage closet. Perhaps it had the same ambiance when I did my prior review but today I noticed that it's not a pleasant eating experience if cardboard boxes filled with sushi trays and food containers are your dining neighbors. The lunch special comes with a "salad" and ginger dressing. The green leaves were limited yet cold and crisp but the dressing when added to the "salad" left a watery pool once the few lettuce leaves were consumed. My two rolls were a bit "chewy" and far from the best I have enjoyed. The soy sauce presented in another plastic cup (Sushi Town offers everything but the chopsticks in plastic.) was grainy and dreadful. Why not have a name brand bottle of soy out on each of your two tables? As I left I picked up my plastic water bottle ....smiled at the very nice people who run the place ... forgetting to say goodbye to my cardboard lunchtime neighbors.

I'd like to tell you to stay away. To go and choose another spot. To completely avoid this place…read more Why! Because it was simply the best experience I've had with Korean food and personnel since I've started trying out this cuisine type over the past year. I was joined by my friend who ordered the bulgogi beef (which I did not get the opportunity to taste because it was so good he forgot to offer me a try) as well as a kimbap(?) as an appetizer. I tried a piece of the app and it was scrumptious. He said his entree was spicy but ok the best way. He was content with the portion, the taste, and the plating. I did warn him that most folks who come here do end up needing to bring food home. Boy, was that right. So, be kind and bring your own container(s) so you can delight in your leftovers another day. They do have takeout containers but they do not offer take out. You must dine in. So, please do keep this in mind when coming here. It makes sense because otherwise the transit time to take it offsite to eat your meal elsewhere is just not the same to get the full experience they are giving here along with their culinary expertise. The food came out fresh and with a little bit of wait. Patience may be required but it's so worth the wait. What did I have you are asking ? Well, my first ever japchae. Non-spicy option for me. The way the noodles were, I can't describe it. It's a whole fun experience on top of the goodness of the dish. The place has some modest touches to let you know what sort of cuisine they serve. There is a kimbap (?) bar area and a few tables. I imagine it can fill up quickly at lunch or dinner. I highly suggest arriving early to ensure you don't feel rushed. Definitely support this restaurant, make sure it has a longevity they deserve and continue to educate us - ok me- on the deliciousness of Korean cuisine. Of course, I took home my meal leftovers. And I enjoyed them the next day. The parking is easy and free at the Cardiff plaza.

The smells are authentic, but that's all we experienced…read more We arrived and were never greeted. The mom & pop operation is a little overwhelmed as we had to seat ourselves. The 'mom' did drop some chopsticks off at our table, but I'm pretty sure she didn't say a word to us. As we waited for her to return to take our order, we were disappointed when she said that she had to wait to take our order until another table did. At that point, we decided to leave. I want this place to be successful. There aren't many Korean options in this part of south Jersey. Please do better.
