I went to this place for the first time yesterday with my best friend, and it was great. I was going to give this place 4 stars just because it is small, two tables inside and three tables outside, however the customer service was awesome and you don't get that often so I gave it a 5. I ordered the OC Burger, which is a thick hamburger on nice, tasty buns, cheese, and jalapeno peppers, with fries on the side, and I also ordered the sweet Thai tea. It was super tasty and the side of fries was just the right amount. My best friend got the Da Kine Burger with garlic fries, I tasted the garlic fries and they were really good, I didn't taste his burger, it came with a slice of pineapple, but he liked it, and he's super picky with his food. Everything came to about $24 if I remember correctly and we sat outside, watching people walk around with no shoes on. It took me like 8 minutes to decide the entire menu I shall try eventually, there were burgers, rice/veggie bowls (vegetarian or w/meat), burritos, quesadillas, milkshakes, sweet Thai tea (Mmmmm), and a crepe dessert from Bangkok that I was too full to try, but it's on my to eat list. If you haven't been here before, keep an eye out for tables and people eating, because it's easy to miss, it's right next to a tattoo parlor. I turned down 11th street and parked behind it in that long parking "lot" between the beach and apartments. There is a little water stand with ice cold water next to the door, with cups, so you don't even have to wait for that to be brought to you, you can just get water yourself. The staff is super friendly and patient. Usually in my experiences, at small places you get your own food, but the food gets brought to you here and they checked up on us twice asking how everything was, so DON'T FORGET TO TIP! There's a tip jar right on the counter, all I had was a $50 and some ones, so I tipped $4. Well...I gave my best friend the $4 to tip because he wanted to go back to the counter because he thought one of the girls that worked there was hot lol. Definitely found a new spot to eat and I definitely recommend this place to people looking for good food. read more

When they say my favorite place to grab aquick bite to eat this one of those places family owned and run so you know the service is good but I go there for the food am always on the run so always to go for me never been disappointed my favorite though is the pocket burger it was picked one of the best in so cal when I say best I mean one the best 100 but it's not something you want to eat every day only when you're not counting calories and if you are they have other things you will be happy with so food gets 5star the place is clean but tiny give it a try I think you'll be happy you did; Marc sunset read more

I made a special trip with my kids to go to this cute "hole in the wall" on Sunset Beach where they literally have the BEST BURGERS I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! And let me tell you I've had a LOT of burgers! Get the pocket burger! It's just incredible! Also, I've been grain free and keto and she even toasted my own keto grain free bun for me! The cook (who I think may have been the owner) was so nice! He gave my kids lollypops while we waited and chatted with my brother while he cooked. The Pocket Burger was so big, I was barely able to put it in my mouth, and it was so delicious! My brother got the TriTip Burrito and he still raves about how good it was and can't wait to have another. My kids got a TriTip Quesadilla- let me tell you...that thing outdid any quesadilla we've seen in our time. There was so much cheese on it, you could barely tell there was a tortilla. Today we decided to visit our dear friends Daniel and Lori. They own Pocket Burger Shack. Great food. Today we got the Pocket Burger with Garlic fries, aqua Fresca. Wifey got the bacon burger with regular fries. Delicious food The service was excellent we were helped by Daniel. Maria cooked the food and did an amazing job. Fernando handed us the food. Ramon also helped us. They all went above and beyond. Thank you. The Ambiance was nice. The location is right next to Sunset Beach. Beautiful location. This place is a little pricey for a burger joint but well worth it. The food and service is great. I ordered the Pocket Burger which comes with avocado, bacon, a fried egg and cheese. It has a sauce that tastes sorta like teriyaki sauce. The meat was juicy and not over cooked, and the burger comes loaded. I have also had the tri tip quesadilla, which is a great snack. The owner of this place is super friendly. The service is also friendly and quick. The place has limited seating and is fairly small. read more

Great service!!! This place has great bacon wrapped hot dogs in a soft bun filled with great grilled veggies. I am a big USC football fan and love the bacon wrapped hotdogs outside the stadium so i was pleased to find a local place that serves even better dogs than the stadium. Highly recommend!!! read more
