I always get the Impossible patty which is cooked perfectly (other places often overcook them). Also, they have delicious lemonades and drinks made from scratch. Tried a strawberry shake today. Sooo creamy. Tastes like it is made with real strawberries?!? Outdoor seating with umbrellas. This last year Pocket Burger really helped me in my recovery. I had a health issue and dropped a significant amount of weight and had to get back eating protein and gaining weight. They were the perfect solution eating tri tip burgers and Kobe burgers. I ordered DoorDash delivery from them a few times a week. It would be enough for the entire day. All the ingredients are very fresh and well made. I especially love their pocket sauce. My favorite burger is the Sunset Beach burger. The delivery would be at my house fairly quick. Most time around 20 min. It helped because I was unable to drive. Love that they're open now I think on Monday but maybe that was just for the summer. This is a very small shack in Sunset Beach. I was worried about parking since it's such a small shack, but there's actually a residence area with a small parking lot in the back. There was a bunch of spots open but maybe that's because we were there at around 9:10am. Both my brother and I got their signature Pocket Burger and paid extra to upgrade them both to garlic fries. Our total bill came out to $37.38 (includes tax). Even though we were the only ones there, it took them a long time to make our order. Thus, I imagine that this is a busy place where people just make to go orders for pick up. There is no indoor seating so we ate at one of the benches outside. I wish they cleaned up the benches as they were somewhat dirty. The pocket burgers comes with their special sauce, 1/3 lb beef, mayo, avocado, fried egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, and provolone cheese. It was definitely very tasty. A pocket full of sunshine in Huntington Beach. Pocket Burger is a hidden gem! This small, hole-in-the-wall spot serves up some of the best burgers and fries in the city. I recently stopped by after a nearby paddle boarding adventure and was absolutely ravenous. I ordered their salmon burger, which tasted fresh, juicy, with the perfect amount of toppings. I also ordered a side of their crispy, perfectly-fried, fries. These were honestly the best fries I've had in years. This business sits on PCH, just steps away from the ocean. There's a small number of patio seats available, but it's well worth it to take your meal to go and enjoy it on the sand. The only downside is the parking, which can be a bit tricky, but the meal is well worth the effort. read more

After a decade of driving by this spot I finally ordered an OC Burger via the Yelp app for pickup. That was a pretty seamless experience. On arrival I confirmed they had the order. Ten minutes later and I was presented with a box with my OC Burger and fries inside. I just live down the road so I ate it at home. Fries were perfect, crunchy and nicely spiced. The burger was really good, very tasty. It came with jalapeños to add some kick and a little burn - perfect! Service was really good. The OC Burger, which comes with fries, cost just under $14. I was bike riding around the area and decided to stop here for lunch. There's a few bike racks outside and picnic tables where you can eat. I ordered the Aloha burger, the grilled pineapple sold me yummmmm. And garlic fries on the side- literally SO GOOD. there were two women working. One at the counter and the other cooking. This place truly is "A POCKET-SHACK" and it's got a really warm vibe about the staff. they are efficient and they are fast with your order. The burger patty had good flavor but overall it was dry, almost no cheese on it. A similar burger at 4 Sons blows this away. Got it with garlic fries. The first time I got them they were good but this time they were bland and lacking flavor. Lots of chopped up garlic but I detected no taste of garlic. The first thing that struck me is that this little spot is really a "shack"... it's a tiny little spot that only allows for no more than 3 people to stand inside at once. The second thing that struck me was that the place appeared a bit out of sorts. Although the place is small... I think there could be some attention given to its presentation. Now, on to the burgers. The burgers are quality in every respect. The patty is a good size and veggies and sides are served up generously. We sat outside to enjoy our burgers and enjoyed the casual so-cal beach vibe of this little spot. The only reason this was not a 5-star was that the seating area and restaurant really are in need of a serious revamping. But...
