We had our Pod delivered this morning. It amazes me how a company can deliver on time consistently like they do. Today we wanted to tell everyone about our Pod delivery service. This morning we get a call about 30 minutes before our delivery from a gentleman named Louis Rivera, he was bringing the Pod and wanted to know how he could place the pod in the driveway to make it easiest for us to unload. We discussed details and he arrived right when he said he would. He walked up with a smile, shook my hand and introduced himself, then we briefed again before he started moving things around with Podzilla. We were very impressed with Louis from start to finish. Louis Rivera is the kind of guy that enjoys his job and he's very proud to be wearing a Pods uniform. He's kind, professional, and efficient. If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. PODS rescheduled my container delivery to a day later than originally scheduled. Then, on the day it was finally supposed to be delivered back to me, I received four different emails within a two-hour period, each with a different delivery time. In the end, they rescheduled the dropoff yet again! I had already hired movers and taken two days off work to complete my move and get settled into my new home. Because of PODS' repeated scheduling issues, all of those plans were disrupted, costing me both time and money. To make matters worse, when I called customer service, I was told there was a 25-minute wait. I chose the callback option to "hold my place in line," only to be informed that it could take up to two hours to receive a call back. This has been an incredibly frustrating and stressful experience during an already stressful move. I would not recommend PODS based on my experience. read more

Today was a big day- the POD I packed 3 Years, 10 Months and 5 days ago.... was FINALLY delivered back to me. Alby called this morning and said "I get to be Santa Clause today and bring you your POD" - it brought a smile to my face. He had no idea how significant that statement was. Alby was the best. He was on time, answered all my questions and didn't mind me obsessively taking videos and pics as he unloaded my container off the truck. Today was truly a momentious occasion, and I needed to document every minute of it. THANK YOU ALBY FOR BEING AWESOME AT YOUR JOB! We selected a 16 ft. POD based on PODS' website, which states this size is suitable for a 3-4 bedroom home. We also spoke with a PODS representative, who confirmed the size without asking questions or providing guidance. On delivery day, professional movers advised the container would only accommodate about half of our belongings. Because we had to vacate that day, the POD was not used and alternative arrangements were required. We contacted PODS immediately to request pickup and a refund. Our calls were transferred multiple times, promised callbacks did not occur, and the refund request was denied. PODS stated an internal review found no error and declined to provide the call recordings referenced. Based on this experience, I would not recommend relying on PODS' sizing guidance. read more

Mark delivered our POD today, was on schedule and exceptionally professional and courteous. Mark made sure the door was able to be opened, it was stuck. Mark help us by tipping the POD and removing pressure from the door. The driver that picked it up, Shakina, was awesome in getting it loaded with no issues. She was delightful to talk to and informative on the whole procedure. Really represented the company well. I'm so frustrated with my in-laws' pod delivery. They moved from CT to FL at the beginning of December, and their pod was transported to Orlando. They have now moved to Titusville, but when they called on December 27 to request pod delivery, they learned that the pod could not be delivered until January 8. It must be transported from Orlando to Melbourne (for an extra $335 fee) and then to Titusville. Why 13 days for delivery from Orlando to Melbourne and Titusville? CT to FL was easy, but man, from Orlando to Melbourne and then Titusville should not be this challenging. read more

On the phone from the National location to the local locations at both ends and every driver we've had at Riverside, California pick up to St Cloud, FL drop off made us feel appreciated as valued customers. PODS in Florida was a good experience. PODS in Ft Worth TX is horrible. In Florida, they showed up on time with good customer service. The only down side was my fault for not scheduling pick up ahead of time and having to take open spots to get my container picked up. read more

My PODS expensive was good but definitely expensive. Moving in general is expensive however the POD came as scheduled. The delivery guy was pleasant and efficient. The drop off took about 10 minutes. It has a wooden floor and plastic top so at first look I thought it was flimsy, so after having my stuff stored for 6 months I decided to move from Virginia to Florida. I was worried about how much damage I would have to my things since I didn't pack the POD knowing it would travel long distance but everything was in place when it arrived. I paid a moving company to pack and unpack it, but between monthly payments and delivery I paid a little under $5k. My experience was good but I'm going to try to stay put for awhile because my pockets have suffered a great loss. read more

Wish I could give it 0 stars. Lost our pod in Alabama for over a week, but website said it was delivered to the local facility on time. Kept pushing back our redelivery date, which makes us reschedule our work week at the last minute too and continually take off just to be notified last minute that it will be 'tomorrow' three times in a row. And all we get is a sorry. Or service associates that don't know where it is. What a failure. Never again. Oh and no refund. read more

BEWARE. ANYONE CAN CALL AND HAVE YOUR POD MOVED THEY DON'T VERIFY ANYTHING. I have had a pretty good experience with Pods professionally and personally as I do real estate development and move around a lot. But I rented a pod in February and had it on my property for 199 a month.. I wanted to store it at their facility but they said it was full. I leave town for a couple weeks come back and it's gone. I call pods they don't know anything. I go to the cops report it stolen. After several calls to Pods finally someone tells me the pod is at the facility. Noone can tell me WHY it was moved or WHO authorized it. I want to pay the second months rent and get it delivered to my new place, but they have now billed my account $999 per month. My balance is over $1500. I started trying to get the account corrected second week in March. Noone I talk to, which is like 4 different people in a month, understand why it's billing me 999 per month. But they all process a correction request and sayit will take about 4-5 days for the correction to be made. And then the following week it's still the same and I go through this again I can never get a manager. Today FINALLY I talk to a lady in collections and she actually knew why it was moved and why it was such a high rent. She has no customer service skills at all, but that's not her department. I get it. She's in collections. Basically my neighbor called Pods and said I moved out and to pick it up. She didn't want to look at it. She lied and said she owned the property. PODS did NOTHING to verify this call it could have been ANYONE. Pods made ONE call to me at 11 am and my voicemail was full. They picked up the pod at 8 am the following day. No second call, no letter in the mail, no email, no text, nothing. She SAID PODS POLICY IS IT THEY ARE THREATENED TO HAVE IT TOWED THEY PICK IT UP NO QUESTIONS ASKED. She argues with me for over an hour about how pods acted by policy and I'm to blame I agreed to this in my lease agreement and tells me about the online account. After she tries to transfer me to a manager and disconnect me, I look online my account was corrected a week ago to the 349 storage rate. Who does noone at pods know what's going on? Even their in house collections has wrong balances. Out of curiosity I look at my lease with them to see the "fine print" and guess what ... It said I never signed the lease for the pod. Who runs this place?!! Every departments needs help. So I racked up a month and a half storage at a rate of 349 waiting for them to correct my account so I can get my pod delivered. During that time I have moved into my new place. After paying for a hotel for 4 nights, I gave up and boughtn an air mattress and had to spend SO much money on little things I had to have for the whole month that are in my pod already like linens , shower curtain, basic kitchen stuff, work clothes, dog crate, bathroom items, it has really added up....I can't afford this. their disorganization has cost me over a 1000 at least. That doesn't include my daughter that's 18 and having to do the same thing. . I want a credit issued for April rental while I was waiting on A pods to correct my account. That's fair. And I want the 349 adjusted to the 199 I was quoted. Y'all failed to have me sign the agreement so legally you can't have me go by the fine print in your lease. And you had my email address wrong, name misspelled and the old number and address still even though I updated it it three separate pods reps. Y'all need to get it together PODS read more

pods is the worst company . i had a pod in storage in vegas for a year to have transferred to florida. upon arrival , i noticed my 2 original locks were cut off and a random lock was put on . i had to call a locksmith bc they would not come cut the lock off . after opening the pod it was evident that aomone in their stroage facility broke in . they not only store half of mt belongs, they broke the majority of my boxes ans flipprd them upside down . i spent 4 grand to be robbed and pods wont do anything about it . i wish i had never used them and will never again. i wiill be alerting the news as well to do a segments on storage facilities and who is most trusted bc pods IS NOT ! read more
