My wife and I live in Miami and we went to meet miss Janet poggi at POGGIS ANIMAL HOUSE in Davie Florida. We put down a substantial deposit and got to see several very healthy tamed and socialized baby monkeys and interact with them. We got to ask all of our questions and got very professional answers. We noticed that their home was very clean and the baby monkeys were very clean and healthy !!  Janet also took the time to answer all our questions about the Florida permit process and helped us to be sure we applied for the correct license from the state of Florida. We were so excited to get our monkey from Janet and have a baby monkey companion. Unfortunately, my wife got very ill so we could not proceed with getting the baby monkey that we had hoped for. They took care of us, resolved the deposit concern, and we were so happy that they were very empathetic and understanding. They had so much integrity and followed through on our agreement, which is more than most breeders would do. I highly recommend them for the tamest, most socialized monkeys and the most integrity. I went to visit Michael at Poggi's Animal House. His facility is VERY clean. It's a pleasure to do business with a person who is serious, professional and puts everything into raising his Monkeys. I was literally floored with his knowledge about the various species. They KNOW their stuff his love for animals, and it shows with how he operates his facility. I'm purchasing a Squirrel Monkey. I have researched breeders ALL OVER the country this last three years. I'm telling you there is no one better. Michael has gone above and beyond to help me through the buying process. I am from Las Vegas and was a little concerned to order a monkey from another state. This breeder is very trustable and responsible. My monkey flew from Florida to Nevada, she was sent with all of her documentation and healthy certificate. I was trained how to take care of her. The monkey was very easygoing and hand fed . She was social and friendly. It has been 1 year and now she is a huge part of our family. P.S. Also even after a year, these people still help me in the care of my monkey by answering all my questions and send back information I need. I bought my marmoset monkey from here. When I decided this was the road I was going to go down, I as much didn't even have a permit. He walked me thru that process and had me approved. 3 weeks later I had my monkey. He was easy to deal with, great communication thru the entire process. We had a class where his wife, taught us how to raise a marmoset. She was such a pleasure. Down to earth and matter of factual and I love that when I'm trying to learn something.
