    Seafood crock

Celebrating a birthday...came early because we had an infant with us. Ordered the seafood crock for the table. It was a bit salty. Each of our main dishes was very salty!!! When looking around we saw everyone had been given baskets of bread rolls. As a first visit it was disappointing! The final negative was not having a place to change an infants diaper!

I usually do not order pork chops when I go to dinner. Mostly because they are dry and not cooked well. That was until I ordered the bourbon and apple pork chop. It was fantastic, great flavor and not over cooked. We also ordered the honey glazed salmon and it was just as good. Both of these are definitely good choices. And the prickly pear margarita was also fantastic.

Honey Glazed Salmon with Brussel Sprouts

Let's first start off with our amazing server (Deanna). She was all about service and attentive to our table of six needs. Pointe should be excited to have you as part of their team. Now, let's talk about our culinary experience; however I'll point out my tasty nom noms. I was pretty basic with the beverages, until my crew coerced me into trying a (mini beer shot). Well, it turned out there is no beer and poured with Licor 43 and a float of heavy cream giving the appearance of a beer. I have to say, it was pretty good and because I don't often indulge it snuck up on me during my starter. I started off with the Mussels. These awesome things were the bomb. Tender and wonderful with a butter bath could have been placed in a cup and I would have drunk it. They were that darn good and is a MUST. I then opted for a salad with ranch dressing. Maybe it was the booze, but it was also amazing and I'm a Pescatarian and all I eat are salads and seafood. We also had fried pickles on the table and they were very tasty and I typically don't like them and ate (3). Now for my main dish: Honey Glazed Salmon which I ordered (medium) and it was perfectly cooked to temperature. The Brussel Sprouts are another MUST have and if I were alone, I would have ordered another order or two to go. Obviously there was no room for dessert for anyone, but it appeared that everyone else enjoyed their meal. I can only praise this establishment and will keep on supporting local business here in Tuscarawas County. Perhaps I'll check into seeing if they can cater at my facility one day. Keep up the great work and God Bless Deanna for making our experience so pleasurable. Shout Out to the Chef and other support at Pointe.

I ordered carry out & asked for Salad dressing. My server said it was already on the Salad. It wasn't. Definitely not worth what I paid.

They were kind enough to recommend Brewhouse. Glad they did. It's open every day. Big place, high ceilings, barroom, huge dining room, giant TV screens everywhere. It was late Sunday afternoon and still pretty busy. Cleveland Browns fans in abundance. It was very loud in a stimulating way. We and the waitress had to yell at each other. She was very busy but on the ball. She let my husband sample a couple of the many beers to make up his mind. The portions are huge. The nacho chips were hot and fresh, the seasoning was interesting and the cheese dip was great. I had the roasted turkey avocado BLT, all the ingredients came together like a symphony of taste and lovely contrasts of texture....and oh, that grilled Italian bread. BIG oval slices from a round Tuscan loaf. It was heaven. Honestly this was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. As an added bonus it was enough for two meals. I liked the place and would return.

Others were there already so one would think someone would be around to at least check on them. Nope. My first bad experience here was the server palmed my credit card to another patron when going to pay my bill. Watched her do it and they both looked right at me from across the busy room after the fact. Good luck.

What has happened to the chicken noodle soup? Ordered a bowl. No chicken, not chicken broth…read more Broth tasted more like onions than chicken, a few carrot were the only vegetables. Overall an odd taste. It did have a fair amt of noodles. Did the soup change or did I get the leavings at the bottom of the pot?

This place is a joke. Continue to attempt to give this place another chance but get disappointed…read more We have eaten here for 30plus yrs. I even used to work there in the 90's. Ordered two turkey and dressing dinners, mashed potatoes one dinner side carrot's one order of green beans. Two salads two strawberry pie and extra gravy specifically on the side. The first issue was on pick up the manager was checking out in house guests with a lengthy line, that continued, it was a Sunday after church. I was only carry out and my food was on the counter ready, so getting cold as I waited for in house line. No acknowledgment from manager. Finally another gal came from back and checked me out and I always dble check orders anymore. She specifically stated oh the gravy is on the meal instead of on side. Ok. Got home not enough turkey between the two meals to make one serving, literally two small bites of turkey. No extra gravy at all, carrots were hard. Strawberry pie was not the old full strawberries in pie that Bob Evans was known for. My pie had one quarter of a berry in the red strawberry glaze, for the whole piece. I don't know what happened to this corp or this store but its sad and disappointing. Go to Texas Roadhouse much better!
