This awesome location is hidden near the smart & Final. It had so many options to choose from to make the Poke bowls and the bowls are so worth the price, be it custom or a selection from the menu. We ordered a Poke bowl with all the fixings and added spicy imitation crab to it. the AHI was very fresh. They heap on the toppings and are very customer service orientated. Came here on a whim after checking out the San Diego Botanical Garden nearby. I really wish I lived closer and can come back on a regular basis! The beef curry was exactly what I had in Japan and Taiwan, and absolutely hit the spot. Well worth $10 because I still had a bit leftover for lunch the next day. The small poke bowl with 2 scoops of rice, 2 scoops of fish and about a dozen toppings was only $15! We got the marinated albacore and marinated tuna, both very tasty and absolutely fresh. My absolute favorite poké spot in North County! Prices are great for how generous the staff are with is scoops, and the fish and toppings are always fantastic. It's so rare to find a poké spot that not only has scallops, but actually tasty, non-suspicious scallops at that! I love all of the options for toppings, especially the range of unique sauces. Last time I mixed ponzu with garlic/lemon aioli, and it was to die for. They never put in too much sauce either, nor do they give you too little of any topping (in fact, sometimes they give too much that the lid won't close, not that I'm complaining!) I am craving Poke Chop as I write this. I'm overdue for another bowl! Oh but side note, I'd stay away from the octopus, it always has a weird bleach-like flavor to it. read more

I'm so grateful to the employees working there for their wonderful service! Catherine helped me out with all my questions and was incredibly kind and patient! Chris was also super helpful, giving tips for what toppings would fit well with the proteins I had chosen. They were both so nice and didn't make me feel silly for not knowing the procedure. Hands down some of the best Poke I've ever head. Raw, fresh and tender just how I like my ... hehe I absolutely love sushi but I usually have to sit down at a restaurant for good sushi and it's not that convenient. But this place is a great, fast and fresh alternative if your craving great RAW fish. It's fresh AF, no weird seafood tastes or smells. It's so amazing I'm sad I didn't find this place sooner. I love the set up and build your own bowl or burrito. It gives me chipotle vibes the way it's set up but Poke style. The staff are really friendly, fast and make the process smooth. Sooooo good!! Hard to find good poke since there are so many poke spots around but my boyfriend recommended we try this spot. Not too far from PCH, super easy to bring back to the beach. The fish was fresh and the ingredients are good. My favorite part (which is hard to find) is actual sushi rice that isn't hot! And the portion sizes are far better than you'll find anywhere else, especially if you get a large. I love what they did with the outdoor patio! My healthy go to is the small bowl with half salad and half brown rice and (of course) got to get the seaweed salad and cucumbers. My favorite proteins are seared albacore and seared ahi tuna with ponzu sauce. Finally toppings edamame, jalapeños, green onion, and sprouts. They are so generous with the portions! The ingredients are fresh and good quality. Everything was seasoned super well. I will recommend you hold back on the types of sauces.
