Pretty good! I subtracted a star due to cost.. I don't think my meal was worth $20 (vegetarian too) but the ingredients were fresh and correct. The avocado was perfect, worth the +1.50 up charge. The service is very fast. I will probably return, but maybe get a medium vs. a large.

My first poke bowl ever, and it was delicious! I finally found a poke place that has gluten free stuff. I did a small build your own poke bowl with salmon, avocado, cucumber, edamame, spicy mayo (GF), and Tamari soy sauce (GF). It felt healthy and had lots of flavor. The spicy mayo packs quite a punch. We ordered through Door Dash, and our order arrived accurate and quickly. I can't wait to eat Poke Bar again!

A little pricey for what it is, but still tasty, and there are seemingly zillions of options to choose from. Fun piece of trivia: you know in the Outkast song "Ms. Jackson" where Andre 3000 is apologizing to Ms. Jackson for making her daughter cry? That's based on a true story. The reason Ms. Jackson's daughter was so upset was because Andre went to the Poke Bar in Decatur - her favorite restaurant - but didn't invite her to go, even though she lived just a few blocks away. This slight caused a rift in their relationship and is cited by both individuals as the main cause of their breakup. Andre allegedly hasn't been to Poke Bar since the incident.

So I goofed up on this one, I completely forgot that I've had this place before in L.A. and by the time I got here it was already too late. I really wanted to try a new poke spot I never had before but oh well there I was parked and payed so I went in for a build your own poke bowl which was good. I can be a poke snob I admit it and unfortunately with poke bar there's just one thing that's missing from here. For me their poke just doesn't have that total crisp taste that I've grown accustomed to, it's satisfying don't get me wrong but to me Im not completely satisfied after I'm done and I'm just looking for more. I wound up going to a pizza place nearby shortly after I was done.

I know Poke Bar from visiting other locations. We had a bad sushi experience nearby where the fish was not fresh, but this wasn't the case with this Poke place. I came around 11ish and it was still early, so there weren't a lot of people yet. I was able to find street parking and walk and get my food. Got a custom bowl - with kale noodles and mixed green. I'm a big fan of any point place that offers noodles as I prefer them over rice. I got spicy tuna, albacore and scallops. Bowl was delicious and fresh! Friendly service and great place for delicious poke! Highly recommended.

After having a scoop of ice cream right across the street at Butter and Cream, I was interested in lunch and decided to step into Poke Bar! Poke always makes me weary because everything is fish related (or can be), and in fact when I visited the menu photos from yelp, they weren't as updated as the latest offerings here from poke bar (I was just going to get tofu), so hooray! What did I get then? With Poke bar (and many poke places actually) you start with the size of your poke bowl followed by the base. I got their medium poke bowl ($10.95) and brown rice. You then get to choose your protein(s). See those red dots underneath the bowl size on the menu? The number of dots translates to the number of proteins you can get. For the medium then I got 3 proteins (Beef, chicken and tofu)! Sides and toppings fill the bowl out and you're out the door pretty quickly and there's no limit to these....add to your heart's content! The flavor of the poke bowl was great! Everything from the veggies to the tofu tasted very fresh. The beef (bulgogi) is warm, sweet, and tender. I like it! The grilled chicken is also pretty juicy and flavorful. Again, customer service is fast, seating is plentiful with a few outside tables as well (where I sat). Poke Bar is smack in the middle of the Decatur square, directly across the street from Butter and cream ice cream. There is a small amount of parking directly in front of the storefront, but you'll be lucky to nab those spots. I like Poke Bar. It's a nice fresh alternative that makes you think you're eating healthy, even though you probably aren't. That's okay though. It's delicious, and if you find yourself in Decatur, stop on in!

The best poke place! They are open for you to come in and safely order. You can also sit outside if it's a nice day. I always build my own bowl. I love it because I can do half and half white rice/brown rice. My favorite part is that they don't charge anything extra for seaweed salad or crab salad. They also have delicious sauces. I typically get a mix of two and you can add as many as you'd like! I highly recommend getting a boba tea with the strawberry popping. They also have a King if Pops stand and I've been eyeing the Thai iced tea popsicle.

I love the freshness of the ingredients used by this restaurant. Poke has healthy options for those looking for something other than fast food. The prices will not break the budget. I prefer the build your own option to ensure I get the ingredients I like most. They offer gluten free dressings which is a huge plus. The spicy tuna has a niceeee kick to it. If you like sushi then you will like poke. Usually get a poke bowl once a week. Yummmm.

I only work I Decatur so just drive around on my lunch break just searching for something new. I found this place after randomly parking in a garage to get out and walk around. Since I've been here I can't stop thinking of it and I wish they would build one in my city!!! A+ for me all the way

We did food family style. We ordered the addictive cabbage which is made with raw cabbage, sesame oil and fried garlic chips (super tasty and I understand why they call it that) as well as the smoked scallop. It has an amazing presentation and the sauce I was able to put on the cabbage as well. It only has 2 pieces but was worth it. For the rolls, we ordered the Picante (not pictured), Fujisan and Love Triangle. My favorite roll was the picante because of the spice and the Fujisan had too much imitation crab meat for my liking. Quiet, unassuming spot that has booth seating and tables with chairs that could fit groups of up to 4-5 comfortably. There were two servers who rotated and were helping all the tables and were very sweet. I'll definitely come back!

Parking is limited, and you can immediately tell the small lot fills up fast, especially during peak hours. I stumbled upon Tenya while in town on a Tuesday, scrolling Yelp in search of a solid lunch spot, and I'm glad I did. This is a family-owned Japanese eatery that specializes in comfort food, and according to their website, everything is made from scratch, which absolutely shows in the quality. I placed my order online and picked it up with ease. I ordered the Shrimp Saku Saku appetizer along with a fresh garden Tenya salad. The shrimp were excellent, perfectly crispy with a flavorful panko coating that didn't feel heavy or greasy. The salad was impressively fresh and came with their house-made ginger dressing, which paired beautifully with the crisp greens and added just the right balance of sweetness and tang. Inside, the restaurant is quaint and cozy, with a decent amount of seating for its size. The customer service was warm and welcoming; the lady at the counter greeted me kindly and had my order ready shortly after I arrived, making the pickup process smooth and pleasant. A nice bonus is the selection of packaged Japanese snacks and drinks available at the counter, always a fun touch and something you don't see everywhere. Next time, I plan to dine in and explore more of the menu, along with sampling some of those snacks and drinks. Tenya is a great example of simple, thoughtfully prepared food done right. I'll definitely be back.

I was vindicated when I watched her scurrying around and couldn't immediately find clean glasses. The restaurant had 2 parties finishing up. Not busy at all. Food: 3 stars; we only came here because THAICOON (around the corner) was closing. I highly recommend thaicoon, ive been going since 2008. The California roll was decent, the shrimp spicy basil fried rice was good and i was impressed they didnt skimp on the shrimp, the coconut chicken soup was good. The star of the show for me was the sweet tea. The food wasnt bad but it didnt knock our socks off either, it could've used more seasoning. It's more like commercial Thai vs authentic Thai. Price point: 2 stars: the items I described above came to roughly $53, totally not worth it! Lol the portion size didnt match the price point. At thaicoon i wouldve paid $46 for the same items. Maybe $7 isn't a big difference to alot of you but that extra $7 there wouldve gotten me an appetizer at thaicoon or i could've put another $10 with it and got another dish. Cleanliness: 3 stars: 3 tables needed bussing, dirty water glasses ob several tables lol, they was having a rough night. Overall; I wouldnt come back if thaicoon is open. If thaicoon was closed and i really wanted thai food i would maybe give them another try. I wasnt bad and im not trying to slam them, my dinning experience couldve been better. Plus side is they do validate your parking ticket if you park in the garage. I would give them a solid 3 stars, had the portion sizes been a tad bigger or cheaper, or had the service been better i wouldve given them 4 stars.
