Shared a tuna and salmon bowl.

OMG absolutely delicious. First time customer. My bowl was a salmon with rice and sauce. My daughter first time she ordered tuna bowl. We shared. What a delightful dinner. More than plenty. Our new favorite we will be back

If you want fresh food and are starving, this is a great option. The quality of the ingredients is great, all fresh, we left completely stuffed and satisfied.

Spicy Tuna over white rice with seaweed, avocado, green onions & edamame, topped with tempura flakes, ponzu sauce and OG sauce

I can't even begin to describe my excitement, when I found out we were getting a poke bowl place in Lexington. I had to wait a few months to try it out because I was on a strict diet with my pregnancy. So, by the time I was able to go, I had high expectations because I had heard so many good reviews. Unfortunately, my first impression of this place wasn't a good one because when I walked in, I waited a long time before anyone even noticed I was there to order my food. Now, granted I walked in after the lunch rush hour around 2:00pm and I was the only person in line, but still... Someone should always be around the ordering counter or keep an eye on it at all times. All of the employees were in the back room and there wasn't anything I could do to get their attention... Not even a bell I could ring. Finally, I was able to order and ended up getting the spicy tuna over white rice, with avocado, nori (seaweed), masago, green onions and edamame, topped with tempura flakes, ponzu and og sauces. It came out to $14.00 and I was kind of surprised because I didn't expect the price to be so high. I didn't see the prices on the big menu board, so I just assumed it would be around $8.00- $10.00. When I looked at how much they upcharge for many of their ingredient items on their to-go menu, it all made sense. The food itself was very fresh and delicious and the lady who helped me was friendly, quick and precise with my order as I told her what I wanted in my poke bowl. So, really the only thing that is keeping me from coming back to this place often is the pricing of their menu. They have good food and you get what you pay for because of it's freshness, but I think that their corporate office should find a way to work with those prices, if they want to stay in business.

Super accommodating during the Social Distancing order in place. Was able to run in and out with no issues. Alcohol gel was available and staff washed hands before serving, after serving and wore gloves. I appreciate the processes they have in place

The food on the bar is not fresh. I think they reused the rice from prior and it tasted hard. Also, the carrots were dry and the avocado was old. i usually eat the whole bowl, but it wasn't pleasant this time. Nothing on the bar looked fresh. I visit this place often in Charleston and never experienced old ingredients and bad customer service. Try a different location. Maybe the food is fresh.

My wife and I stopped by to try this out the other day as we went through Lexington. I have been reading the reviews on here so my expectations were kind of high. When I ordered I just ordered the Duke because the menu is sort of overwhelming, my wife went out on a limb and tried her own with spicy salmon and some other stuff. I found my bowl to be pretty darn good and my wife's was marginal but that might have been her fault because she chose the ingredients. It was good food it just wasn't remarkable and I would try it again. The staff was very polite and courteous and helped us with our decision making process. I have no complaints.

Perfect for takeout poke bowl. Definitely not cheap especially with all the extras I wanted, but you get what you pay for. Everything was fresh and delicious and their to-go packaging were up to par. I'm glad I was able to try this spot while I was in town.

I love doing Yelp searches in order to find a uncommon or new place to dine. Poke Bros popped up & immediately caught my interest. My sister in law is from Japan & talks about fresh pokè all the time. I built my own bowl with the help of one of the workers/artists & dove right in. I must say, I'm a huge fan of fresh sushi, a huge fan of uncommon presentations, & a huge fan of beautiful presentations. I got all 3 qualities in a friggin bowl! I am a true foodie and I have to say, the serving size was generous, the quality, excellent, & the flavor, YUM! Definitely coming back & most definitely writing down what I ordered today because it was the perfect blend of textures.

The food still felt authentic and full of true Hawaiian flavor. Coming from a family with roots in the Big Island and Maui, I can appreciate when a place captures that genuine island-style taste and atmosphere. One thing that really stood out was how they start you off with fresh in-house made pork rinds, similar to how Mexican restaurants serve chips and salsa when you sit down. It was a unique and welcoming touch. We ordered the spicy poke, Spam musubis, and a mixed BBQ plate with two scoops of mac salad. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The mac salad especially had that classic island-style taste that's hard to find done right. The staff was friendly, the decor looked great, and the restaurant had a warm, inviting feel. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for authentic Hawaiian comfort food.

It had that perfect char on the outside while staying incredibly flavorful and moist inside. Definitely the star of the meal. The chicken was just as impressive. Well-seasoned. Perfectly cooked. Every bite was tender with a hint of sweetness and that signature Hawaiian-style barbecue flavor that keeps you coming back for more. Don't overlook the rice. Soft. Moist. Buttery. It soaked up every bit of flavor from the meats and tied the whole plate together. Simple, but done exactly right. The restaurant was busy, which speaks to how popular it is. The staff looked a little overwhelmed during the rush, and you could tell an extra set of hands would've helped. Even so, everyone remained friendly, worked hard, and never let the quality of the food slip. If you're willing to be a little patient during peak hours, you'll be rewarded with a meal that's absolutely worth the wait. I didn't dine in this time, I ordered my meal to-go but I still got a good feel for the space. I ordered spring rolls and shrimp and scallop hibachi. The veggies was definitely the highlight of the meal. The seafood was cooked nicely, but it was the fresh, crisp veggies that really stood out and gave the dish its balance. The portions were generous, big enough that you're not leaving hungry, and maybe even with leftovers for later. The spring rolls missed the mark for me. They lacked the veggie crunch I was hoping for and didn't have that crispy, golden snap that makes spring rolls irresistible. Instead, they leaned a bit on the soggy side, which left me wanting more texture and flavor balance. Overall, Hawaii Steak & Seafood House is one of those spots where you'll walk out full and satisfied portion-wise. The hibachi veggies shined, but a few other items could use a little fine-tuning. Clean space, big plates, and a meal that's worth a try if you're in the area.

From the outside, it doesn't look like a whole lot, but the inside was quite meticulously kept and had plenty of space to eat in, though most of their fairly vigorous business was takeout. As Poke-type places go, this one offered a ton of options. Virtually any diet could be accommodated, vegan and gluten-free easily so but also whatever you'd want in terms of limiting carbs. They had a splendid selection of ingredients with multiple fruits, several ways to get your greens, but also some delicious crunchy things and spicy sauces. And it was a good sized bowl. It was one of the better such bowls I've had, and for the ingredient quality, the price was not bad. Having been impressed into ordering a tea, I did not like that as much. My lychee tea was not excessively sweet, but the fruitiness didn't quite make up for it. The popping boba didn't quite pop the way I'd hoped either. Maybe another drink would have been better but I preferred the food over the tea. Still given the range of options available, I really could not have expected much better of a meal than this.
