    Brown Sugar Milk Tea

PokeMan is a decent ramen and Poke spot located in an unassuming location in the heart of Plantation. On this visit we got both the Shrimp and Crab Meat Bowl along with the Tokasu Ramen and tried two varieties of tea. First the Shrimp and Crab Bowl. It was a typical Poke bowl consisting of shrimp, crab meat, edamame, seaweed salad, avocado, and white rice drizzled with eel and yum yum sauce. It tasted pretty good, but not outstanding. The Takasu ramen on the other hand, was really good. A hearty but not over powering broth with seaweed sheets, a soft boiled egg, and pork. I would definitely get this again. The milk teas were good. No complaints here. The service was solid, but the problem lies in the size of the restaurant. There's only room for one or two staff to prepare the food at any given time. We came in during lunch, and waited 25-30 mins to get our food. The seating area is exceptionally small as well. I would not bring any parties larger than 4 to dine in. I will mention, just because it came up on the news literally the day after we visited... but they had some pretty significant health code violations that caused them to temporarily close. I am basing my review based on my experience alone, but the health violations are worth noting.

By coincidence decide to give this spot a try. It's located on the corner end of a large plaza. Seemingly sufficient parking. The decor is like a sticker and poster anime explosion. Very colorful to say the least. A few dine-in tables. Service was welcoming, friendly and helpful. They also have a kiosk where you can place you order. Unfortunately the tea fell short in taste and texture. It had an artificial taste and the texture was thicker than I'm use to. The truffle fries are just regular fries with spray on truffle oil and jarred parmesan sprinkled on top. Overall impression...forgettable.

Thursday, March 7, 2024 Was craving a boba tea and found everything I needed here. Private parking lot, pleasant staff, delicious boba tea and dumplings. I will definitely be back to try ramen and soup.

Phenomenal little restaurant! Love the Pokemon theme and the food was great! We got there right when it opened and good thing we did as it got very busy. The food took a little bit to come out but totally worth the wait.

Went here with some pretty good expectations judging from what I saw on yelp. Unfortunately, I was severely let down because this restaurant is so severely understaffed and could not handle the giant wave of people that were coming in, thanks to several influencers posting about this place. Since they were so short staffed, there were blatant food service issues that I noticed. I did not see people washing their hands, items were stored on the floor, bare hands were used for scooping ingredients, etc. Thankfully my party, and I only got bubble teas, but we will not be going back here again. It also does not help that they were featured in the dirty dining section of the news for multiple, food inspection i fractions, most notably multiple roaches were seen in the place.

The ramen and bubble tea were very fresh and delicious, The atmosphere is pretty nice and unique, my son and husband are pokemon fans and they loved the restaurant. The restaurant is Pokémon theme. The only bad thing is that they don't have restrooms for the customers.

I was really excited to try this place being a big Pokémon fan. There are several teas to try but I went with the Red eye rabbit which was a strawberry tea with white cream. The signs mention that they are understaffed and there will be a wait be prepared for that. It was hard to enjoy my drink in there knowing that the staff was drowning in orders with a line leading out the door. Overall the flavors were good but nothing out of this world. There is several pieces of Pokémon decor but I wish they would dive into their theming more. Like with dedicated Pokémon drinks or dumplings.

I was hoping the food would make up for the mess and disorganization of the place. The decoration is made of posters and toys, the place looks dirty and old. We ordered the Tokasu Ramen with chicken and it had no flavor at all, the only tasty thing about it was the egg because it's definitely not made there. I'm giving it 2 stars because the "Horse tail" drink I ordered was good but my daughter's "Caramel milk tea" drink was watery and bland. The service was nothing special and because there was no one else in the store, the ramen took a long time to be ready.

This is the receipt for the two boba teas.

I didn't get a chance to try the food but the Boba Tea was good. I think because of their new popularity they were behind and just have a sign that says to basically be patient with them and there was a processing fee that I wasn't expecting. I'll have a better review when I try their food I think. But for Boba sake it's a good place.

I was a little disappointed in the ramen. There was not enough broth in my bowl which is a big part of the ramen. The toppings were also very ordinary as well as the quality of the noodles and I found an eggshell in it. I think the biggest disappointment was the service. We sat outside trying to enjoy the cold weather and they did bring the tea out which was good but we waited a long time for the ramen to later learn it was ready for a while inside. They didn't have to take it out to us but would have been nice if at least they would have popped out let us know it was ready at some point. It became busy during our wait so not sure if that had an impact but with all the factors it was just not to my satisfaction. The actual decorations inside are very neat and the aesthetic of the place is very fun.

Great place with lots of fun Pokemon decoration, variety of thematic bubble tea/drinks, and ramen/poke/appetizers. The customer service was excellent with the workers willing to customize menu items to fit our dietary restrictions and choice. The serving sizes are HUGE for the poke bowls which definitely makes the price worthwhile. We got ramen and poke bowls. The ramen was decent but next time I'll definitely go for the poke bowl - beautiful presentations and great fresh flavor in every ingredient. The drinks were good too. The mango pikachu bubble tea was great. Taro was alright. Overall definitely recommend this place!

Found this by coincidence and I was glad. I was craving a Boba tea and I was glad I did go in as they serve besides teas and appetizers they also serve Ramen so I had dinner as well. I had the Tokasu Ramen with beef and shrimp and was not disappointed it was tasty and full of protein. The mango green tea with mango boba and lychee jelly were awesome and I get to choose the level of sweetness which is always a plus. The ambiance it lively as the have many cool decorations and anime figurines all over as well as many board games and a Pokémon machine to play claw style. Service could be a bit better they are not very attentive and took their time to serve the food with the rest empty. The space is small but enough for you to eat there.

This was such a cute surprise of a little lunch spot. If you don't know me by now, I love trying Asian food & boba spots with my little dude. Since he is an avid Pokémon fan, we decided to put this on our weekend to do list. Apparently it's been open around 2 years ... not sure how we missed it all this time .... Anyway. It's a small shop on the corner of the pine island and sunrise plaza. Anime & Pokemon decor everywhere!!! Even a claw machine & games out for anyone to enjoy. Pokémon named teas, poke bowls, ramen, dumplings & buns available to choose from Little dude got the Pikachu mango tea & I went with the lemony blue dragon tea. We also shared the steamed dumplings, spring rolls & a grilled eel poke bowl which was better than I expected. Cute place to visit with children of any age !

Everything arrived within 40 min, still hot. I ordered a ramen broth, an order of tempura shrimp along with the spicy yaki udon. The udon was not spicy at all, but very delicious. Not sure why it's referred to as "spicy", there was not a single sight of red or green chilies. I would have loved for it to have a kick of spice, but nevertheless, still delicious. The appetizer shrimp a fail, they did feel a bit chewy/ rubbery, and dry. This was not my favorite. The hot ramen broth was soothing and on a cool day like today, well worth it. I wish that my order had arrived with chopsticks, or some type of utensils. None were provided, not even napkins. And I was a little disappointed that no sauces were provided, not even for the noodles. Often times some oriental places will provide siracha or some type of chill sauce. Perhaps this places does not offer those condiments? I was so excited to finally make a visit! Like others have said, Theres a garage or you can park on the street. It was $3.75ish/hr on the street. I'm not sure how much the garage was. We came right at opening and there was already people there! We took a Quick Look at the menu outside. It's at the bottom floor of the garage and the plaza looks like it's in a subway station. It reminded me of Japan! They chose a great spot. It was well thought out. The art, walls, plates were so aesthetic. Services was great as well! I had to start with the classic Japanese food. Although I did want to try everything. Started off with the JFC. It was perfect! Perfectly fried and had just enough sauce. The marinade was perfect. The crisp-perfect. I love that they used chicken thigh. It was a perfect start. It was nice because they waited for us to finish our appetizer before bringing out our entrees and that's never done at a lot of restaurants anymore. I'll start off with the disappointment. I ordered the tonkatsu for myself. I was shocked at how burnt it was. And how disappointed I was that they allowed it to be served to me. It was very dry on the inside. And the whole dish wasnt as piping hot as the karaage was. Kinda like it was sitting on the pass waiting for the ramen to be done maybe? I wouldn't have mind if it was lukewarm if it wasn't burnt. That really bothered me. Not something I expected so early on in the day. But I ate it. It was hard to chew because it was dry. This was my only complaint. I wouldn't suggest ordering this dish. I liked the details. How the cabbage and carrots were cut. I liked the Japanese rice too. I could tell it was Japanese rice. It reminded me of going to mt Fuji when we went to a restaurant there that had the mt Fuji rice. It was perfectly cooked. Not soggy or hard. My partner had the house ramen-ichimora. It. Was. The. Best. Ramen. I've. Had. In awhile. lol. It used to be Momosan but went down hill about 2 years ago. They ended up shutting down this year. Anyway, back to the ramen. It wasn't as thick as Momosan (I like thick broth). But I liked this one too! They are both different broths. The meats were very very tender. Noodles weren't Al dente. But overall loved it. You won't find another broth like that in florida. Another thing I'd like to mention was the plates with good portions. Which I haven't seen done in a loooong time. We were stuffed! Next time I'd like to try their sushi and hopefully bentos for lunch because I miss going to Japanese restaurants that have the bento boxes.
