No one came to take our order until 3:00 PM--which, conveniently, is when the lunch special ends. When I brought this up, I was told no, which felt unfair since the delay wasn't our fault. We ordered a dinner box with 3 fresh rolls and 3 baked rolls. The baked rolls came out fairly quickly, but we waited about 40 minutes for the dinner box. When I asked the waitress, she said "2 minutes." Five minutes later, I asked another waiter, and he said "5 minutes." In my family, we don't start eating until everyone has their food, so our baked rolls just sat there getting cold for about 20 minutes. I did bring up my concerns, but nothing was done to resolve the situation. At the very least, I expected some kind of gesture--maybe a small discount or even a complimentary dessert. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression, and I won't be coming back.

My husband ordered dinner through DoorDash one evening and spent over $100. Unfortunately, when we attempted to call the restaurant, it was already a little past closing time. We also contacted DoorDash, and the delivery driver explained that he simply delivered what the restaurant provided. Our kids were understandably disappointed since some of the missing items were part of their meals. The following day, my husband called the restaurant to explain what had happened. They were very understanding and kindly offered to provide the missing items that same day; all he needed to do was stop by and pick them up. We truly appreciate when businesses take the time to make things right. I'm sure it was an honest mistake, and their willingness to resolve the issue speaks highly of their customer service. We will definitely continue supporting this restaurant, though we may choose to dine in moving forward.

Well, today, we were in the mood for Poke, and we remembered that Ramen Boy has Poke on their menu, so we stopped by and we ordered the small (two scoops) and they came back with this huge bowl of Poke! It was fresh, delicious and better than other poke I've had in the area. We will definitely be back next time we're in the mood for Poke. Service is always great too!

I love them, because they combine the best features of "pure sushi" with white-glove Michelin Star style tasting menu dining. Kaze, in Thousand Oaks, is one of the most fun Omakase experiences I have ever had! The head chef/owner is a great guy, and he employs equally fun chefs and beverage team members who seem to have the singular goal of making sure that all of the guests not only have a tasty dinner (honoring all sorts of food issues, here in SoCal) but also have a great time! The fish? Fresh! The rice? Polished! The toppings? Creative! The beverages? Plentiful! The seats? Comfortable! The bathroom? Clean! The Parking? Free and safe! The Price? Fair for what you get!
