This is my wife and I go-to Poke spot close to home. Every time we come here for dinner, we always see one or two people dining in. We also order to-go as well. All the ingredients are good. The tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, and shrimp are the typical proteins we get. Regular size, you get three scoops of protein. Yes, you can double-up on proteins. The sauce, I get the house, spicy mayo, and creamy sesame. They do take Apple Pay. They have plenty of seating inside and one television. Tried this today, ordered a small and paid what I would pay in other places for the Large portion here. But I was like fine whatever it's pricey hopefully it's good. But the avocado was an extra charge and I've always gotten that in other places included and sometimes 2 scoops of it. The rice was terrible it was so dry that it almost tasted fried. The quality of fish was good and tasty but also the same quality all the other places have. Too small portions for the price and also expensive to have to pay for the avocado too. Didn't like the ponzu sauce either. The service was great and much appreciated but over it wasn't as good as other places and on top of that more expensive, too. Just not my cup of tea. But give it a try for yourself at least once. read more

Went here for the first time today. Was super hungry for some poke and this hit the spot. Food was ready right when I walked in. I have tried this place twice and the first time I tried it the bowl was very dry and didn't have much flavor. However, I have recently decided to try it again and found that adding the spicy Chile power and house sauce made it savory and delicious. I placed an online order and they forgot the eel I paid extra for, was very disappointed they didn't offer any solution to resolve this besides to contact DoorDash. Best poke place that I ever have. They have more protein choices than the other places I went. The place is clean and sauces are tasty, fish are sooo fresh(sushi grade). Beside the taste, service is also very helpful, and the staff walked us through and answered all of our questions. I'm going to first admit that I am not an expert at ordering poke, however, it's hardly my first time and generally I'm not treated with as much disdain and attitude as I experienced my first time at this specific location. I wanted to introduce my mom to poke as she had never had it before. I tend to have unagi with various toppings that I happen to have accidentally mixed together and like very much. I guess this chain has very specific unagi orders which are not customizable so when I was told this, I said that I'd prefer to customize and ordered 3 medium-1 with all unagi and 2 with all salmon. I'm not sure why there was confusion but hey, communication sometimes breaks down, so everytime I was asked the protein I repeated on 2 of the orders all salmon and on one all unagi, but the person behind the counter seemed increasingly annoyed and frustrated. We eventually got it all figured out and when my unagi was done and the orders completed, I said thank you and sorry for the confusion and the person looked at me as if I had committed some great offense. My mom is older and as mentioned, not familiar and her comment was, " What did you do? she looked at you as if ready to kill you". I told her I had apologized for not ordering more smoothly and shrugged it off but can't really say the experience is something that would make me rush back. I will say the quality of the ingredients was very good and the salmon was fresh as well as the unagi portion was very plentiful but I think we generally have thrown away the idea of customer service to the point to where even the most basic level is lacking. I'm not sure if the pandemic has caused this, but we seem to have become very grateful for bad service under the excuse that the businesses are doing the best they can, well, it's December 2022 and most have returned to pretty much full service but somehow the customer service has not. How one is treated is part of how they leave feeling and if they will recommend or feel good going back. I generally give places a couple of chances before I decide not to frequent a specific location anymore and I hope this review will serve as a reminder that as much as a lot of us understand that dealing with the public can be a pain in the ass, especially when a customer may require more explanation, it is not necessary to treat them badly, particularly when you've done all you can to relay that you're annoyed serving them and they apologize for invonvenincing you...there are many other options and today you may lose 1 but eventually more will choose other places instead of going into a place that treats them like crap. Oh and the place was empty and we were the only customers until almost towards the end of the process, so the added pressure of people waiting in line behind someone who is taking longer than usual was not there. The staff was really nice and helpful, since I was new to poke, but I ended up with a bowl that made my day :) I'm also a big fan of the interior design - it looked really clean and modern and eating here was generally a good experience. Im a fan of poke and im scared sometimes of trying raw fish anywhere new but I had to have some yesterday so I stopped here and I was impressed it was a little pricer than normal but the food was very fresh and the portions very generous both girls working were very nice took their time even though they were a little busy.
