I normally never write a review unless a restaurant is so inherently bad that I have to make sure other people don't make the same mistake. I don't know who they have working here but the workers seem to be incompetent. They have gotten my order wrong multiple times when I ordered through uber eats and the rice almost every time has been delivered cold.. They even included raw whole edamame pods mixed in with my fish.. And if you decide to go into the shop to order, make sure you watch the workers when they are ringing you up, because on multiple occasions they have not turned the ipad around to let me choose tip and instead tipped themselves the full 20%.. They really need to get better workers here because this is not it. You are better off going to another poke spot!! read more

This review was honestly overdue!! First of all, let me just give a shout out to LUPITA, she's the MVP! Always providing the best service at this location! My boyfriend and I visit Poke Rainbow whenever we can and I'm glad when she's there. My poke bowl is always the way I ask for it. Lupita doesn't mind when I ask her not to mix my ingredients - I know, it's weird but some places mix everything and I don't like it like that. I like taking my time when eating. LOL. I would say it is a hit or miss ? It just depends. If you go in person ofcourse the order is going to be right but if you do doordash or uber eats then they will definitely find a way to mess up your order lol. When we brought our food home my son's salmon and pineapple were not good he smelled it as soon as he opened it up(salmon was white slimy and gray dark spots on it pineapple smelled like beer) he took out the salmon and pineapple and tried to eat the rest but he ended up throwing it up after two bites. I took it back within 30 minutes spoke to Krista the manager she was very rude and angry about The whole thing. She made it seem like I was lying. I told her I'm sorry she's having a bad day and she said "yes I am I have a lot of workers out because of Covid and you're not wearing a mask" when I ordered my food the first time I wasn't wearing a mask when I walked in to talk to her she didn't ask me to wear a mask. when she first came out she was already angry. Last month I got a medium and a soda it was almost $20 which I found to be reasonable. Today I noticed prices have jumped since my last visit. I opted for a small which was about $17 total and all of the portions were miniature. Its one thing that food costs are high but when you're spending $17 on a meal, you shouldn't feel hungry and dissatisfied afterwards. Really disappointing meal for this price point. Food itself is satisfactory at best. I hope this place figures it out and makes some improvements. read more

Its my second time going and I think the food was good. My first bowl was so good that i had to go back. I basically got the same thing, just this time a small instead of a medium. I ordered online both times. And I get that online orders are tough to follow especially when helping people in store. But i ordered avocado and crab salad and both were missing. Im just bummed because I had to pay extra for avocado and didn't receive any. I did get a lot of toppings so its understandable. I wanted to like this place. The rice was kinda crunchy. The fish was not un fresh but it wasn't good. There was a fridge smell to the plate. I saw the pickled ginger and decided to try it, pass too salty doesn't really go with poke. Very over priced $16 and change for 3 scoops of not great tasting fish. Okay so this place is really good. I was able to substitute the rice for quinoa which was awesomee. BUT it's way too pricey. I got a small with a sub for quinoa and 1 extra protein and it was almost $20. Which surprised me and my mom obviously. I really enjoyed going here! Inside is clean and modern looking, and the staff is helpful and kind. I ordered a medium size, which gives you three proteins. If I were to go back, I would probably just get the small (two proteins)- because I am STUFFED. This place is really generous with the toppings. One scoop of crab salad is about two scoops- the helpings are big! They have plenty of yummy proteins to choose from, as well as delicious toppings. Plus, they have several sauces to go on top of that, and they even list sauce combos you can choose from, basically spelling out for you which sauces go best. They even add more toppings at the end, like roasted garlic, crunchy onions, sesame seeds- things of that nature. I was really happy with what I ordered, and this is definitely a place I would recommend to my friends. I hope to be back soon to continue supporting this business. They are doing good work!! I will not be coming here again. I've been here about 8 times I always get 4 medium bowls for me and my family never had an issue. Today I had really bad customer service from a lady I didn't get her name I wish I did. She had long puffy dark brown hair with a grey shirt large build. She looked annoyed of me ordering food lied to me about not having avocado and shrimp at the end I saw some the girl behind me ordered some they brought some out She did not put napkins on my bag or forks I asked her for some forks she only gave me 1. I asked for Sriracha she looked so annoyed. She didn't even tell me when to take my card out when I paid. I didn't even enjoy my food cause of her. I really loved coming here. Got here around 7:35 went based on the time on Yelp. Walked in when another gentleman was walking out with his order. Girl. Behind the counter greeted me I did notice that there were a few items missing from the trays. The girl asked what my base is going to be and I said salad well that one was missing from the tray another girl that come from the restroom walked out and turned off the lights while I was standing there then walked over to the open sign in the front and turned off the light. Again the time is not 8 yet. So when there girl that was helping me asked the other girl where's the salad she then said "it's put away already". The girl helping me then said "oh I'm sorry we don't have anymore salad". Like really your not close yet and the items are put away already. I then walked out and couldn't believe that this business hours on Yelp say closes at 8:00pm. So if this business doesn't close at 8 and they close at 7:30 then the hours need to be changed and not confuse customers . I obviously walked out and noticed there's 15 mins left and the employees have everything put away. I get it the employees want to go home, but acting like this is making the business look bad. If I were rating this place based on just customer service, I'd give it 5 stars. We went in today for lunch and Lupita helped us out. She was the best, very friendly and attentive. She gave us suggestions and was just overall a nice person. You can tell that she's a hard worker and does her job well!! Overall, the fish is good and fresh and the sauces are delicious especially the chile paste (per my husband). The only reason why we don't go here that often, even when it's literally a 2 min drive/walking distance from our house, is because of the price. It's much more expensive than the other places we go to and the last time we were there (when it opened was the only other time we've been), they didn't give you extra scoops of the toppings (like Bay Poke does). I'm not usually for sea taste but their scallops are really good! good portion. I ordered a large and got 2 scallops, salmon and tuna. I tried to like the salmon (it's personal preference for me) but I still don't like salmon. but their tuna and scallops are good!!
