I was genuinely excited to try this new poke spot, but my first experience was a letdown. I originally asked for a mini bowl with two scoops since it was my first time there. The employee with the blonde highlights immediately came off rude and argumentative, insisting the mini bowl only comes with one scoop. That's completely fine if it's the policy, but there was no reason for the attitude. A simple, friendly explanation would've gone a long way. After that interaction, I just ordered a regular bowl with two different tuna options, and the entire vibe changed. She seemed even more irritated while making my bowl, barely spoke to me, never offered me any samples (even though she was offering them to everyone behind me, including my boyfriend), and it honestly felt like she just wanted to rush me through the line. Then I sat down to eat and couldn't believe how tiny the portions were. The tuna scoops were so skimpy that I literally counted four pieces of tuna in one of them. For the price, that's pretty disappointing. We spent $43 on two bowls and a Spam musubi, and the food wasn't enough to make up for the poor customer service. First impressions matter, and unfortunately ours wasn't a good one. I really wanted to love this place, but between the rude service and the small portions, I don't think we'll be back.

We visited the new Santa Fe Springs location, & it was super easy to find with plenty of parking! As soon as we walked in, we noticed how clean & bright the restaurant was. The decor was modern, inviting, & it definitely had us even more excited to eat. We were greeted right away, & the staff was so welcoming & helpful throughout our entire visit. Since it was our first time trying poke bowls, we weren't sure what to order. Kelly took great care of us & gave us some of her favorite recommendations. She helped us build bowls with salmon, two kinds of tuna, crab, half rice, half salad, kelp noodles, almost every topping, & their recommended sauces. She got down!! Wow! Every bite was incredibly fresh, flavorful, & absolutely delicious. They also recommended the musubi (we got 3 different kinds: crab, salmon, spam) & the crab hand roll, which were both so tasty. :D To drink, we ordered the Thai tea & the Tropical Guava, both were so refreshing & delicious! Mmmm! I'm so glad we decided to stop by & give this place a try. The customer service was truly 10/10. Kelly, the manager, the male manager Victor & the entire team were incredibly kind & made us feel right at home. I already can't wait to come back & am planning my next visit! :D

Great customer service. Fresh and flavorful poke! $10 for 2 scoop bowl. Regular price for 3+ scoop bowls but totally worth the price.

Ok the service is great. But for 40 dollars for two 3 scoops bowls.. here is my take. The scoop is super small! The poke has mixes in it and you get even less fish. I eat poke often and well it seemed to be flavorless even with the mix. The bowls are wide and shallow. There is a good variety of toppings. I think I will stick to my other poke places..

I'm back! Omg!!!! I've never been a fan of masubi but omg tried on piece yesterday and I couldn't wait till this morning to get my hands on a full size and took a gamble and all got a hand roll and that was def a good choice!!! All the food is soooo yummy!!

My 2 Scoop Poke Bowl and his 4 scoop bowl

Was heading home and saw the $10 for 2 scoop bowl promo banner and I had to come in and give it a try. The selection of protein was good and all yummy I got a 2 scooper for $11.09 total with tax and my boyfriend got a 4 scooper for $21 the price to food ratio was great and we were both satisfied. We ate inside it was clean and cool inside. We'd come back. The servers were really nice too because they offered samples to be able to try out their proteins and were friendly. If I could give them 6 stars I would

The poke bowls were so fresh and delicious! It was my first time trying the Unagi Musubi, and it was absolutely amazing. I also loved that they let you sample the food before ordering. And I can't forget the drinks--you can't go wrong with the Thai tea! It's so good. If you like sweet and refreshing drinks, you definitely have to try the tropical drink too!

I have never had such an amazing experience ! Everyone was so helpful, friendly and enjoyed offering samples! Everything was delicious and affordable. This will be our go to place for sure. The sweet young worker that helped us went above and beyond! Definitely a must go.

Been here twice and it's fresh. Loved the grilled salmon bowl. You get it sizzling fresh. Will definitely be coming back regularly.

Ordered the kalbi BBQ plate with rice and mac salad, plus an extra mac because I usually like 2 mac + 1 rice. The mac salad was easily a 1/10--basically mayo and noodles with no salt, vinegar, umami, or real flavor. Definitely not how Hawaiian mac salad should taste, and I was even more annoyed that I paid for extra. The kalbi was decent but got way too fatty as I ate. I was happy they topped it with green onions (flavor was good) 7/10. They also didn't have a teriyaki/soy glaze or house brown sauce, which was disappointing. I tried the katsu sauce instead and that was easily a 9/10. Customer service was decent. Overall, not terrible, but not necessarily great either. I wouldn't drive out of my way or necessarily recommend it.

We walked in and were greeted unenthusiastically by the woman behind the register after she walked out from the back and I tried to make some light banter and talk about the menu, mentioning that we had just seen a video online that made it look like a good spot, and she didn't engage at all. Okay, maybe she was just tired. So my girlfriend and I both ordered a chicken teriyaki plate and out number was called, we began to eat and were looking over the menu, which looked good but was very standard, aside from items where you could put hot sauce or hot Cheetos on it sort of deal. The food was just okay--nothing to write home about. It was a standard chicken teriyaki plate with a soda. Walking in on a day where the World Cup games were going on, one television was turned off and the other was showing a tv show with the volume off. There was no music in the restaurant, which was sort of weird feeling. The only thing in the background that cut through the four people eating and speaking to one another was the chopping of meat in the background. As we sat there to eat, we realized just how bare the menu really was and how expensively priced most items were. There were advertisements taped to the wall advertising discounts that had ended in the middle of last year right next to us as well, which was odd. Do they still honor the discounts or do they just not clean things up thoroughly? The decor was very cookie-cutter smash burger hipster, with the silver paneling lining the walls and the silver tables and chairs throughout. It just felt bland and in desperate need of a redesign and cleaning. Overall, very bland and I personally won't be back. I'll stick with the classics, I suppose! Thanks for reading!!
