After a clustered poor grub job order and no follow up from business I am going to share. It's not hard to execute an order that comes on line with instructions especially when the consumer is spending a lot and expects common sense and attention to detail. How difficult is it to read comments. Put chopsticks and ginger in the bag. Not only didn't this get read and no unagi sauce on my poke as stated in the description. When you are at a motel and there is no plastic wear or silverware the $30 for the bowl becomes absurd! Not even a napkin. Called shop and asked to have manager ...Phil? to call me. Well I vote with my wallet and no thank you I'll go elsewhere since you couldn't call me. Train your staff to be reading! Attention to detail.

Jumbo bowl: white rice, spicy salmon, red onion, edamame, cilantro, cucumber, jalapeños, citrus ponzu, sriracha, and crispy onions.

I absolutely love this place! It's my favorite poke spot in Roseville. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, the food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the restaurant is always spotless. I highly recommend it!

I was hesitant to come at first based on the past reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The guy serving us was somewhat quiet but friendly. We ordered in the store and it was clean and food is fresh. We would definitely come back!

so bummed having to write this place a bad review! I used to go to Yummy Poke but the quality and customer service got pretty bad so I tried Poke Town out recently. I went for the first time last week and it was great! fish was fresh, ingredients were fresh, all in all great bowl! 2 stars for that! today I went back again for the second time and had.. just about the worse poke bowl i've had. the fish was all either chewy and muscle-y (photo attached... so sorry), and any piece that wasn't too hard and chewy to eat tasted like, and I mean this with 100% honesty, a goldfish tank. it tasted so, so, so fishy and gross I was besides myself. sadly the fishy-ness ruined the whole bowl and made the rice and everything around it taste so gross. and for a 20$ small bowl for it to be so bad... I can not justify it. I really wanted to like this place despite the bad reviews, but sadly don't think i'll be back! :(

Ordered several times. The young kid is unfriendly and sometimes rude. I'd let it slide if the food was great but only okay. No ty!

I always crave Chaodown Poki! I'm thinking I need to be here at least once a week!…read more I was just in here the other day and thinking... I have been to other poki places and nothing compares to the freshness, the flavor... and THE PRICE! I am always satisfied with the flavor and I am so happy that after getting a large bowl (5 scoops of protein!) I have enough to make 2 meals out of it! I always go with their fresh salmon (there is tuna and scallops available as well), but let's start with the base... I have them put in some spring mix in the togo container and then cover that with some white rice. Brown rice is an option as well. Next, you pick your protein. In a separate bowl, they put your protein into it and you have your choice of success they can toss it in. I like a sweet and savory, with some spicy, so I go with sweet and spicy mayo, salty sesame shoyou, sometimes sweet unagi, and definitely add sesame and chili oil... what can I say, I am a saucy girl! Then they put that tossed fresh fish over the base. Then you pick your toppings. There is a soft boiled egg, cucumber, pineapple, crab mix, seaweed salad, kimchee, masago (they also have spicy), jalapenos, green onions, and so many more choices. To top it off, you can add the chili oil, soy sauce, furkake, and crispy wontons. For measly $22 and change your got an easy 2 meals. Please, don't forget to leave a tip! I like to sit inside and eat half here. They are always working hard with online orders and customers walking in. I like to use the chopsticks, but I also get a togo fork as well in case my daughter eats my other half (highly likely!) The biggest reason for this review is that this is the best price around. The best fresh flavor around! If you guys like poki bowls, I absolutely encourage you to come to Chaodown Poki and I promise you'll be a fan, too! There is teriyaki chicken here as well if you aren't down with the fresh taste of fish!

I finally found out it is dairy free. I don't eat many vegetables. Their bowls seem to be full of vegetables, then you pick what meat you want in it. I have been wondering and waiting to see if they would just sell the fish or meat by its self. Then I noticed the spam musubi. I walked up to order. I waited a while at their counter. The young man behind the counter was busy putting an order together so no big deal. But the wait was getting longer and longer. Then I noticed other customers ordering off of a stand up computer tablet thing. I thought maybe that's how I need to order? No hello I will be right with you. Do you have a question? Do you want to order something? You need to use that ordering system. The spam musubi was already pre-made sitting under a heat lamp. I ordered with the tablet, then the young man gave out the orders he made. Then my ticket was printed out he handed me my food with a few napkins. It was pretty good, I wasn't sure how to order the other spam musubi options they have listed on their sign out front. I only saw the plain one in the computer.

I just experienced the best food and hospitality from Hometown Dumpling…read more I went for lunch on a Friday and with their help, I ordered the pork and shrimp dumplings, BBQ pork buns, and my favorite, sesame balls. The portions were generous, and everything was delicious. There were so many dumplings in the order that I couldn't finish them, and I took them, cold, to my teenager, and she thought they were fantastic. Further, they let me stay in their restaurant and finish a work project. I took up a seat and they were nothing but accommodating to me. I really appreciate all the hospitality that they showed me while I was there working.

Hometown Dumpling in Folsom, CA, serves up some authentic homemade dumpling... they gots boiled,…read more steamed , and pan fried in a variety of fillings. The menu also has wonton soup, noodles, soup dumplings, fried spring rolls, crab rangoons, cucumber salad (Asian style), Chinese egg custards, bbq pork buns, sesame red bean paste fried balls,, stir fry veggies, taro steamed buns, and some other items. I've tried the dumplings boiled, steamed, and pan fried. The boiled ones are slippery and best when I'm in the mood to have them swirled in a sauce like hot chili oil. Streamed ones have a slight chew to the dumpling exterior than the boiled or fried dumplings. But doesn't take away from the taste. Pan fried is good when you want a crispier exterior and slight crunch. Whatever way you order 'em... it's all good! The egg custards, sesame balls, and crab rangoons are classic and my other go tos. I enjoy the diversity of the menu. Gotta confess, in Folsom there is not a lot of these good authentic dumpling places. Plus throw in some dim sum items...score! Is it Michelin star, no. It is homemade and comforting, yes! The place is clean, comfortable, and has basic furnishings and decor. There is no music or TV. The owner works most of the shifts. It truly is a small family business that welcomes your family.
