I stopped in for a quick snack. I noticed they started selling Spam Musubi. I have only ordered from this location once maybe a year ago to try the dole whip frozen dessert. I finally found out it is dairy free. I don't eat many vegetables. Their bowls seem to be full of vegetables, then you pick what meat you want in it. I have been wondering and waiting to see if they would just sell the fish or meat by its self. Then I noticed the spam musubi. I walked up to order. I waited a while at their counter. The young man behind the counter was busy putting an order together so no big deal. But the wait was getting longer and longer. Then I noticed other customers ordering off of a stand up computer tablet thing. I thought maybe that's how I need to order? No hello I will be right with you. Do you have a question? Do you want to order something? You need to use that ordering system. The spam musubi was already pre-made sitting under a heat lamp. I ordered with the tablet, then the young man gave out the orders he made. Then my ticket was printed out he handed me my food with a few napkins. Best poke in the town! Today I tried shrimp and salmon poke bowl, it tasted so great! I've been in lots of different poke-spots and Uncle Sharkii is making a REAL poke. I just wish I could choose quinoa as grains option... The menu is not super big but every ingredient they have is a must-have for a real poke though. I am just so glad to finally find a wonderful place to eat poke. The price is also great, I would pay 20-25$ everywhere for what I had today, but in Uncle Sharkii it only cost me 16$. Ingredients are fresh, rice texture is good I would also like the server to wear gloves during all the time of preparation, not just when she transferred my food to a different bowl. Decided to stop by on my way out of Walmart to try a coffee milk tea with boba. The menu consists of poke bowls, tea drinks, & Dole soft serve flavors. The environment was clean. The man who helped me was friendly, helpful, & humorous. When I realized I didn't get my boba addition, he was apologetic and immediately had it corrected. I enjoyed my drink--tasty coffee flavor, level of sweetness made it feel like a treat. The boba tasted fresh--soft with a nice chew. Ahi Tuna & Salmon Poke bowl: - Tuna was a bit mushy but not bad, good flavor - Salmon taste & texture were good, not too fatty Thai Tea: - Tasted artificial (as most are) but still not bad - A bit on the sweeter side - Boba texture was chewy in a good way Decent price for a poke bowl & drink ($21 originally but ~$18 with first purchase 10% off) Overall, I recommend giving this place a try at least once. Came for their grand opening and being super excited for a new poke place in the area. I ordered a uncle sharkii salads bowl ( shrimp, tuna and salmon). Overall, the salad was fresh. The salmon was good but there were pieces that has the black /darker side of the salmon. Tuna was ok, a little fishier to the ones that I have had. Shrimps was good. It was very light on the crab meat, about like a sprinkle of a few pieces of it . I got it with the sesame mayo dressing and it was good. Supposedly, there were a soy sauce base but don't see or taste much of it . Also, not much of toppings: crab meat, nori/sesame seeds, 5pieces of onions and green onion, masago, corn and cucumbers. yes, this place is located inside the walmart. i didn't know as this was my first time here and shocked when i came to learn this haha! i came on a weekday evening and it was not busy despite there being a decent amount of shoppers. as you walk in, there is a self serving kiosk that you will place your order on. this place has pre-selected bowls that you can pick from (i.e. salmon & tuna, spicy tuna, etc.). honestly, im more of a fan of the place where you can design your own bowl, so it felt limiting ordering here. there also isn't much of a selection for the protein compared to the other poke spots around town. the worker preparing/giving the order was quite friendly and this was a clean space. would i come back here? probably not, there are far better poke spots to go to than here. read more

So this is one of those being in the right place at the right time scenarios. My last stop was at Walmart, that's right Walmart, for a few things before I grab some dinner. I hadn't decided what I was going to get for dinner, maybe something between Walmart and my hotel. As I walked the wide aisle between the cash registers and the store service area I see, of all things, a Poke restaurant. I'm intrigued. The restaurant was located at one of the two entrances/exits, where a chain restaurant is normally located. The restaurant was clean and well lit, and again, in a Walmart! I guess I just can't get over this lol. I was hungry and tired from driving and really just wanted to get something but Poke sounded great! The counter person was friendly and attentive. I placed my order and she asked me a few questions about how I wanted my bowl prepared... all rice or all salad or half and half? She also asked about what toppings I wanted. She made it easy by saying "what toppings don't you want" lol I also ordered a boba drink. The order counter wasn't laid out in the typical Poke restaurant style with a long counter where you start at one end and pick out what you want assembly line style. You order by bowl number and your bowl is made according to the bowl description. I was surprised by the large size of the bowl. You get plenty of food! I'm guessing the bowl weighed approximately a pound when done. The food was very good. The ingredients and accoutrements tasted fresh and where appropriate, crunchy. The salad was fresh and not wilted or soggy. The sauce was very good! I chose the house spicy and sriracha mayo. The only minor complaints I have are, the rice wasn't a higher quality short or medium grain. A higher quality rice would have enhanced the already good bowl. It may have been a little overcooked as well. A little more fish would have been good too. With that said, the bowl was still good and worth a return trip. My boba drink, the honeydew milk tea with boba was surprisingly good as well! Boba was fresh, and the drink good. I wasn't offered a choice of sweetness level. The drink was sweet but not overly sweet. I generally go with 50% sweetness level. Overall Uncle SharkII (pronounced Sharkee) was surprisingly good! (Surprising, only because it's located in a Walmart). The food was fresh and delicious and the staff friendly and efficient. The restaurant was clean and uncluttered. I finally got it! Walmart and Uncle SharkII's... what a great combination! I recommend this place to all. Great desserts too! Went grocery shopping at Walmart today and stumbled upon Uncle Sharkii on my way out never knowing it had opened inside. What a great surprise! Happened to be lunch time so I took my chances and stopped in. Ordered the #1 which was an Ahi Tuna/Salmon combo. Got the non spicy sauce and sriracha Mayo with all the toppings. Great idea but the raw tuna was NOT fresh and tasted so. If you want to succeed you need to be willing to throw the old out and order new. Also neither soy sauce nor wasabi was offered. The mild sauce has mayo in it: not great with sashimi imho. Everything else seemed fresh. The salmon did not taste sour but was perhaps a little slimy. The service was prompt. The ambience is Walmart & there's no decor in the dining area whatsoever. They do offer very fancy insulated to go bags. If I owned this, I'd drop the expensive bags and order fresh fish, and then decorate like a tiki bar! I did not try their boba drinks. I went out of my way to go to this poke restaurant specifically because of the food and drink menu. There are several closer to my house, but I didn't mind making the almost 30 minute drive. The hours say 11-9. Walked up tonight (Friday) at 8:15, the gates were open. An employee made eye contact with me and immediately walked up and closed the gates, locked up, and said they were closed. Why did she have to explain it? Well the process is a bit different than others where you build your own. Here you choose your bowl, which comes with certain components, your proteins and sauces. Light and soft low volume jazz would really add to the atmophere along with some cheap art for some sort of decor. Poke bowls are a little on the small side, but they give you a fair amount of Poke, so I can't complain. Order took over 15 minutes, so I think a 2nd worker would help. I ordered the Uncle Sharkii with all Salmon and a Mango Green Tea. At the time of writing this review, the restaurant had 4.8 stars, so I had very high expectations of the quality of the ingredients. To my surprise, the poke was actually not that bad. The ingredients all tasted fresh and I felt satisfied. I honestly would've given this place 5 stars but the Mango Green Tea was WAY TOO SWEET at base level. It's similar to drinking sweet tea from McD but more sweet. I was watching how the drinks were made and it's just water with powdered flavoring and spoons of sugar. No tea. They should stick to just selling Poke and ice cream. My wife and I ordered this through door dash. The size of the bowl was absolutely piss-poor. It was below the size of an appetizer. My wife eats like a bird and she was so hungry she made herself more food before I did. I ordered a double serving of chicken and I barely got anymore than she did. Visited this brand new poke spot that just opened up inside a Walmart and was blown away by how good the food is. I ordered #1 which is the ahi tuna and salmon bowl. You can choose from a spicy or non-spicy soy base. You can add sriracha mayo (which I think is definitely the way to go) or other sauces as well. For the price (I think it was around $13), it was well worth it as the portion was a good size and the ingredients were fresh. The service was good too- the cashier was very polite. Ummmm.......there is a poke restaurant inside a Walmart. Wrap you head around that for a just a second.......... This used to be a McDonalds. The addition was odd, but it was kinda cool at the same time. Saw them when we visited Walmart this past weekend. Had to give them try and glad we did! Ordered 2 bowls, of which one was them was the Uncle Sharkii which included salmon, tuna and shrimp and made it spicy everything. It was kinda spicy, but not overbearing until you bite into a fresh jalapeno and that burned my mouth. When you order at the counter, you don't pick and choose what you want in the bowl. There were just a few options like rice or salad and spicy or not. Every topping that is on the bowl is just added on. I think if you order online, you get to pick and choose what you want or don't want. We also ordered a milk tea. Everything was actually really good - a suprise indeed! The milk tea was more milky than tea-ee. The bowl was good. The sauces were good and the toppings were fresh. The fish was actually sushi quality, not horrible fish stuff u find in the walmart freezer. They had this cooler bag, which we asked for and the dude gave us for free, whereas it's $0.25/each. All in all, we'll come back here. If you look through their website, you'll notice this is a chain restaurant that is fairly new, but they are opening up a lot of locations within lots of walmarts stores. I'm sure they got a big agreement with the big box store to lease multiple spaces for a good deal i hope. Guess this what we'll get for lunch/dinner when we visit Walmart...we may need to go back to walmart more often...damn smart walmart. read more
