Looooove pokebowls. I love raw fish and theirs always tastes fresh so I trust I won't get sick. They have filling pokebowls and if you're really hungry you can get a large. I like the Spicy Ahi Tuna with Kale noodles. I've stopped there on my most busiest days and they pack the food quickly and also everyone is polite and friendly. Great place! read more

I've been waiting so long for the poké trend to make it to Fairfield County, and luckily this place is close to home. I've been a few times and it's pretty good overall. Good topping options and the salmon has been really fresh tasting. I've made a couple poor choices with toppings (shiso leaves, blech) but now I've got some good combinations figured out. The staff is friendly but seem to still be getting into the rhythm given it's a new location. The only thing I don't love is the sauces/dressings. The few I tried were either too sweet or tasted kind of fake like bottled salad dressings. read more

While I have been a big fan since they opened, tonight I left terribly disappointed. Sign says they are open till 9pm. I got there at 8:01 and they are breaking everything down. They stop and ask to take my order. I say one bowl and one burrito. Well they had already cleaned the burrito machine so that wasn't an option. So ok two bowls. And what do you want as the base to the bowls? How about kale noodles. Oh sorry we are out of them. And then they're surprised when I wave them off and leave. I hope the manager reads this and knows that they are shutting down early when they're not around. Really disappointed. read more

I was absolutely crushed when Pokeworks closed during COVID, and checked everyday to see when they'd open back up. I am SO glad they've reopened and have eaten there twice this week. Awesome staff too-- always friendly and helpful. read more

A welcome addition to route 7 directly on the Norwalk/Wilton line. Have eaten here at least 20 times. Every experience has been fantastic. Yes, once they were out of kale noodles but I didn't care that much. Maybe I'm low maintenance. The food is ALWAYS fresh. The place is always clean. The sauces are delicious without tasting overly salty! Add sesame oil (self serve) if you like a little more "dressing." All of the staff is good; some are outstanding. The only weird part is the odd Muzak piped in. I'd prefer something else - or none! Give em a try! read more

I love this place. The fish and all the ingredients are high quality and super fresh. I've been coming here for either lunch or dinner almost weekly since the opened a few months ago.... I've never been disappointed. My go to is the Hawaiian Classic poke. A bonus is it's the healthiest quick meal available on the go. read more

Excited to be here. But overall experience is just okay, not as good as the one in Providence, RI. I ordered salad bowl with salmon and spicy salmon. The portion is very small. My bowl is only 2/3 full. Can't taste the fish. Not as flavorful as the one I tried in RI. read more

We tried Pokéworks for the first time last night - and I had to hold myself back from going again tonight! I was really impressed with how fresh everything was. My husband got the Hawaiian Classic with shrimp instead of tuna. He said it was excellent. I got a "make your own" with brown rice and a combo of tuna and salmon. I am gluten free, so they handed me menu cards that clearly showed what was safe. I chose the rest of my toppings based on that. The only thing I was disappointed in is there are very few sauce/dressing options that are GF, and those that are GF are mostly spicy. If there were more options in that category, it would be a 5-Star from me! read more

I have never written a Yelp review before but felt I had to. This is hands down the best poke restaurant my bf and I have ever been to. We have tried many different places, including several in LA, where we used to live. The food at Pokeworks is fresh, it tastes delicious, and the service is excellent. The portions are also very generous. We have been regulars at this particular location (Wilton) for about a year. All of the staff are great, but one guy in particular is so good, he has our orders memorized. He is extremely professional, very fast, and always makes us the best quality bowls. I love sushi type foods so decided to try this place. I attended their grand opening recently and have since visited them 2 additional times. Great selections, very fresh proteins and toppings. Very friendly and courteous service, very clean place. Only negative for me is the cost: the amount of protein is very small for the price, and the toppings are pretty small, too. read more

Even though there is no good atmosphere (high tables and chairs that we sit at with our trays) and I fear we are doing a disservice to the planet as the bowls are single use plastic - this place is a gem. The poke is fresh, the choices are plentiful, and the portions are generous and reasonably. I am particularly impressed with how careful and clean the staff is. My family goes there at least once a week, and I see that they are consistent in keeping things meticulously clean behind the counter. Also, last week on our visit they didn't have out any avocado as an available topping. My son asked why, and the worker said that they actually did have it - but as the avocados weren't ripe enough, they didn't want to offer it. The workers seem to take pride in their work. read more

A great option for a healthy lunch. I never thought salmon and quinoa could taste so good. It is a little on the pricey side considering it's farmed chicken and fish, and I could get a completely organic salad for the same price. But overall I am happy with it. read more

Fine I'll say it, I'm totally addicted. Poke as a whole is a delicious cuisine and this is a fantastic chain. Much like another popular fast casual restaurant, you can make a bowl, a salad, or a sushi burrito. Fish has always tasted good, looks bright, and never smells overly "fishy." There are so many great topping options, I love to add cucumbers, green onions, sesame seeds, masago, and wonton strips just to name a few. I really like to pair the Pokeworks Classic sauce with the Ahi Tuna. It's a bit like a Ponzu and adds a nice acidity to the bowl. I've also tried the Sriracha aioli when I've ordered Salmon. I'm pretty sensitive to spice and it's got just enough kick without being too overwhelmingly spicy. One thing I really really like about this place is they allow you to adjust the amount of protein and the amount of sauce, two elements that I think can really make or break a dish in a chain where personalization is key. Pokeworks is available for delivery on Door Dash and I actually love ordering through the app because you can look at all the toppings and put thought into making your bowl. All around I'm thrilled to have this chain location nearby! read more

Tried Poke for the first time today. I went with the Hawaiian bowl to warm up to the idea. Chose kale noodles. All the fixings that came with the combo. Added some crab salad and avocado. Sauced heavy. I enjoyed it immensely and will be back to try other combinations. Seemed fresh and the amount was fine for a lunch portion. Price a bit high, but I think value pretty good. read more
