I put everything for mix-ins (tofu, seaweed, cilantro, masago, green onions) and toppings/sprinkles (avocado, crab mix, spicy crab mix, squid salad, seaweed salad, corn, cucumber, tomato, pineapple, edamame, mango, pickled ginger, furikake, tempura flakes, crispy garlic, dried seaweed, almonds, sesame seeds (except jalapeño, crispy onion, and chili powder). Picked up my bowl about ~20 minutes before closing. It was very quick. The poke bowl was fresh and had generous serving. It was excellent. Grabbed a quick lunch from here. They have online ordering for pick up later. Once you order for pick up, it should be ready to the side near the fountain drink machine. I was only there very briefly to enjoy my meal, but from what I can overhear the staff are super friendly and welcoming and they have some regulars too. I liked how one of them tells the customer, "Yes, Chef!" after finishing their order. Fun and cute! I got their medium poke bowl with 2 scoops of protein and split carbs. For my medium poke bowl, I got: spicy tuna (ground tuna), spicy salmon (diced cubes), 1/2 regular white rice and 1/2 matcha rice, spicy and regular crab salad, spicy mayo aioli, seaweed salad, edamame, tempura bits, fried onions, furikake, corn, squid salad, masago fish roe, tofu, and chili powder. Pretty decently sized for a medium order and they don't skimp out on all of the sides ordered and the scoops they use aren't tiny either. I'm used to poke places using those tiny ice cream scoops, but it looks like they don't here. So many toppings that I had to scoop a bit of it out on the lid so I can do a better job of mixing. Fresh fish, delicious toppings, overall not bad. They don't have a wide variety of proteins to choose, but that's alright, you know considering that we're land locked. It was the first time I've had matcha rice too, which mostly tastes like regular rice with a slight, very, very subtle matcha taste. Looks interesting for sure. I had the fortune of eating at this restaurant on my last trip to Denver before the pandemic and was very please by my poke bowl which was filled with a generous helping of shrimp and salmon. The ingredients were high quality and fresh, and the bowl was constructed in nice layers with care and good presentation (Fish on the inside, rice on the bottom, mixes on the side). The flavor was very good, especially with the fattiness of the fish. This matched well with the fluffy rice and crisp vegetables. I was quite surprised at how much food was in my bowl as being tall instead of wide made me think that there was less food than there really was. I ordered a large bowl which is supposed to come with 3 scoops of protein. I am not sure what size scoop they use, but I was disappointed in the amount. The remainder of the toppings were fine, but not anything special. Despite adding what I thought was a lot, the bowl was not full. Very very good poke bowls with fresh ingredients and generous servings. I'm used to other poke places limiting the amount of mix-ins and toppings you can get, but at Poke World you can get almost all the ingredients without an up charge. I ordered a large bowl which comes with 3 scoops of protein and it was more than enough for me and my husband to split. They're allowing dine in. Luckily no one else was dining in when we were there. I've been on a poke bowl kick lately, and this is my favorite I've found in Denver. The fish is fresh, and the add ons are plentiful. I also like the option of matcha rice, and being able to do a combo of half and half. I don't like how you can only order a small in person, and it doesn't show up as an option for delivery- at least on Postmates. The other thing that is less than ideal is the actual layout of the store. It is super snug (not ideal for wheelchair users) and the flow of ordering is confusing. You can enter from both signs, so the order of the signs for toppings doesn't really make sense, and when it's crowded, forget it. I like the option of online ordering, so you can pick your toppings, and you don't have to worry about the confusing line, or the staff not hearing you when you try to order. I love this place, but will stick with delivery, and probably skip dining in! read more

Places like this tend to give me anxiety since there are SO MANY CHOICES of what I can add to my tasty poke bowl. Hence, I stick to the online ordering system so that I don't spend hours in line trying to decide between a scoop of tuna or a scoop of salmon (I'll settle for both). You have your choice of base, or half and half. I recommend the matcha rice (it really seems as if they are putting matcha in EVERYTHING these days) and the salad. You can also get white or brown rice. Then on to the fish/meat. Tons of chunky and solid fish or meat (I tend to get the salmon and tuna), all for an excellent price. Then comes the unlimited toppings (so many!). Get the crab salad. Do it. Do you know what they make crab salad with? It's still seafood, so I'm good. But google it if you really want to know. Nothing against this place since all places do this. But just wanted to insert a PSA in here. Top it off with some sauce, and you're good to go. I've tried both the spicy shoyu and wasabi shoyu, and neither had much spice, so I'll have to try another one some other time. I really hope that this fast casual place sticks around, as we all know, this address has housed many a restaurant before. As a downtown office-dweller, I can honestly say that I squealed in delight when I saw PokeWorld's 'Coming Soon' sign. I stopped counting the number of times that I went into PokeWorld during their grand-opening week special. My coworkers caved and also stopped counting. It's THAT good! So what makes PokeWorld so wonderfully delicious? Well for starters, you have the base- brown rice, white rice,or salad. You can also try matcha rice- a tasty rice made with matcha and some coconut milk, think sticky rice. Personally, my favorite is the matcha rice- it actually pairs very well with the savory fish and toppings. You can choose your number of scoops of fish based on the bowl size- 2 scoops for medium, 3 for large. Their mix-ins and toppings are awesome- choose from a variety of fresh veggies, fruit, and more. I personally recommend their spicy crab salad (I have yet to see this elsewhere!) and the seaweed salad. Service is fast and friendly. Pro tip- if it's busy, there are actually two lines! You can enter either door and there's a line on both sides of the service counter. You can also order in advance and pick-up. I went here for my Birthday Lunch on Friday December 1st 2017. The KEY is to arrive early before the Lunch crowd which I managed to do before the long lines. The staffs are efficient. Just make sure, you know what you want to order so the lines will move much quicker. During ordering, the staff who handled my poke bowl did not put some of the toppings I requested. I managed to check my poke bowl before, they closed the lid. Just make sure what you want is in your own poke bowl. I opt for the LARGE Bowl with 3 Protein options, which I choose, Salmon, Shrimp and Tuna. The base was with White Rice. The Mix-Ins I opt for was Masago and Green Onions. The sauce was Spicy Aioli. Get here early for lunch. I arrived at 11:40 and there were four people in front of me. By 11:45 the line was out the door...for good reason. For those who don't know, Poke (Poh-keh) literally means to slice or cut in Hawaiian, and poke bowls are typically comprised of fresh yellow tail tuna. I was fortunate enough to live in Haleiwa, on the North Shore of Hawaii in my past life and poke is everywhere. PokeWorld takes me back to the culinary delights I enjoyed in the Aloha State. The process for ordering here may seem overwhelming on your first visit, but it's fairly straightforward. You begin by selecting one of three sizes and each step up in size adds an additional serving of protein, which we'll get to shortly. You build your bowl by starting with a base of rice or salad. You could go with a familiar option and simply choose white or brown rice. However, I can't begin to tell you how amazing their MATCHA RICE tastes and you're doing your tongue a disservice if you deprive it the experience, at least once. Protein selection is next in the process. Here's your Pro-Tip...mix it up, go half and half. Your protein can include the following options: Tuna Spicy Tuna (ground) Yellow Tail Tuna Salmon Spicy Salmon (ground) Tofu Tuna Tataki (seared) Shrimp (cooked) Scallops (cooked) Chicken (cooked) Next, pick some mix-ins to accompany your protein. You can choose from masago, green onion, cilantro, tofu, seaweed or all of the above. I usually stick with seaweed, cilantro and green onions. I have ordered the tofu and it does a great job absorbing the flavor profiles of any sauce you add and isn't a bad option. For me, it's typically too much so I pass on the option most days. Speaking of sauces, I've tried them all and they're each amazing. I typically stick with a spicy aioli or creamy sesame, but I don't think you can wrong with either of the following: Shoyu or Spicy Shoyu Wasabi Shoyu Yuzu Citrus Spicy Aioli Chia Honey Mustard Creamy Sesame And finally, you pick some toppings and sprinkles. I usually stick to the tempura flakes, almonds, sesame seeds and chili powder. They also offer fried onions and dried seaweed if you want to pile it up. Overall, this is a complete meal, served in a single bowl at a reasonable price for fresh food. Probably my favorite place to grab lunch during any day I'm working downtown. read more

I took this bowl back to my apartment so it's a little late for showing any employees there. I now have hesitations about ordering online at PokeWorld and coming in at lunch since someone overlooked my order in two places.
