I ordered some last minute to go poke here and it was absolutely delicious, fresh and made to order. I was able to customize it with whatever I wanted and the workers were helpful and quick. You can eat there if you want but I got mine to go and it traveled home well. I also got some sushi rolls and ate them in the car as a snack and those were delicious as well and super affordable. I can't wait to come back!

Listen, I tried it and tasted it and I won't go back. The customer service is great the rice felt like it sat in my throat hard to get down. The Salmon was overcooked and thin not a fan and I love Salmon. The food looks good the taste could have been better. Maybe not enough teriyaki on the rice. The steak looked good, but I won't try that food again. The spring roll and fried dumplings were good. It's like those places in the mall. Nice and clean, because it's new. I expected something more authentic, not mall food.

But at last, as I searched on DoorDash I stumbled upon this glorious restaurant they call Izakaya Fuku. I was drawn to the adorable names for their sushi roll dishes like "Strawberry Fields" and their Italian Japanese fusion pasta dishes, "Creamy Mentaiko Bacon Pasta" with creamy mayonnaise, spicy cod roe and bacon like are you kidding me? It's a bummer I wasn't more hunger or that I didn't have more bucks in my wallet because I wanted all these dishes. And the Chirashi Don, god it looks so beautiful the way that it's arranged in the photos online. I finally decided on the carbonara. And I was drawn to the fact that it was udon based. Now, I've just been living in hawaii these past years so that Japanese twist on an Italian dish that I just love oh so much really brought me back to missing the islands and the Asian spins they had on cuisines. Now my food may have not come in a jiffy but for after midnight cravings I'd say it was well worth the wait. And my oh my the portion was huge!!!! I slurped that big boy up. It was SOOO delicious and savory. I love comfort food and this had me in carbonara heaven. I loved indulging into every single last bite. By the looks of the picture the restaurant looks lovely, I'd love to stop there and try it in person. Thank you. Thank you! My belly and my heart are very much satisfied.

The service was attentive yet not pushy. Knowledgeable and hospitable without being extra. Just chill and on point overall. They definitely read the room and that's my favorite kind of service. The food: Chicken curry katsu! Perfection! Carbonara udon! Delightful! Black garlic ramen! Delicious! Whatever you choose I'm sure you will not be disappointed! Honestly. And tbh, literally because of that, we're headed back today! lol. Like for real no joke haha

Entering the area I was almost immediately greeted and ordered the food I had an interest in within a decent time frame so service is pretty good. I stuck with ordering mainly Japanese dishes I was familiar with because not many of the Tibetian dishes caught my eye. I had the chicken Teriyaki Lunch Box along with Shrimp Tempura Sushi and Lemon Iced tea. The food was good and pretty affordable. Note: The Ambiance quota wasn't highlighted so a short summary of the place. It's well kept but not outstandingly special or anywhere near gross. The lanterns hanging above are a nice touch.

As a big fan of tongue, my mouth watered. The waitress asked me how spicy I wanted it, so I requested mild to ensure it wasn't going to burn my mouth. The Sushi Pizza was tasty, although thought some may think it was a little pricey for the size. The flavorful tongue in the Cheley Khatsa was tender, as expected. Glad I didn't get it spicier! It came with white rice, which helped. Although I'm not often in this section of Jackson Heights, might consider stopping by another time to check out other specialties. Recommend you check it out as well.
