Best value poke I'll probably ever experience. My brother recommended this place to me and I drove across town today to check it out. Cute interior, ample parking, and the friendliest staff that's more than accommodating. I got a regular bowl which comes with a choice of black rice, white sushi rice, or salad as your has option, three proteins and a bunch of free toppings. I had half and half black & white rice with a bit of salad on top per the suggestion of the worker. The spicy salmon is apparently not always there but it sure was today so I had to try it. Would recommend. I got the spicy shrimp and spicy tuna for my other options. For my toppings I got every free option and a light unagi drizzle to finish. Generous is an understatement. It's probably double the amount of protein you actually need and I bet not a single soul would complain. It's located in a shopping complex where there are plenty of parking spots. Not many people there when we got there so we were able to order right away. As we looked at the menu, we noticed the pricing was higher than what we saw on the menu in the photo section from about 5 months ago. Not happy with that, but oh well we are already here. We ordered 2 regular bowls. Each regular bowl receives 3 scoops. The employee scooping for my daughter was quite generous with her bowl compared to the one serving me, but the scoops felt small. Perhaps that's how much most places scoop nowadays. We like that they have a house sauce they and other options you can choose from to mix the poke with. We both chose the house sauce which is good. I thinks it's a sweet soy base sauce. As for the toppings, we like the toppings they offer and a big plus is that a scoop of avocado is free! Most places charge for avocado. We also like that they offer aside from spicy mayo, a mango sauce. There are other interesting flavors as well such as a blueberry sauce, but I chose the spicy mayo, mango sauce, and unagi sauce. Honestly this place deserves 5 usually. So I give it 5. Last time I went in there were two girls working and it was a very unusual 2-3 star experience. I asked for tobiko, which I know is an extra charge (I was willing to pay for and yes there was tobiko there!!!!!) and they just looked at each other and then one whispered to the other one to give masago instead. I have good hearing haha. I did feel cheaped out like maybe they were trying to pull a fast one on me. It kind of turned me off from coming back now and I am not 100% sure I will ever go back unless a friend of mine wants to go.
