Yall need to stop playing and go eat at The Drunken Wok NOW! WOW. This place was phenomenal. Even with a backed up line, they were able to crank out our food quick and it was delicious. Honestly tasted like we were eating at a restaurant. The noodles, rice and all the protein were cooked amazing and it's the perfect food to either eat during the day, before you go out drinking or had a long night of drinking. Definitely check this place out.

Ordered on a Friday night, was the first in line, and I stood there for over an hour to get my food. I understand there are Ubereats orders, but it was very unfortunate I missed the entire half of the football game with my friends to wait for my food. Apparently there was a mix up, so they gave me free crab Rangoons in my order, which was very nice of them. Unfortunately, that was probably the tastiest thing I ate compared to my order I'm very picky on my pad Thai, so I wasn't expecting a lot, but it was probably one of the worst I had. The noodles were undercooked and somewhat hard, and there was slaw in the pad Thai?? I've never had pad thai with slaw in it. The flavor was just not there. I also love tofu in my pad thai bc it absorbs all the flavor but it was lackluster The crab fried rice was a little better and they gave you a decent amount of crab but again, it lacked flavor Overall, I wouldn't have waited over an hour for the food.

I found DrunkenWok by accident and I am so glad I did. I had gone to Fergs for the one dollar wings but I missed the cutoff and the kitchen was already closed. The bartender told me to check out the food truck outside, so I walked over expecting some wishy washy asian fusion that would be just okay. I was wrong, very wrong. My friend and I ordered the crab rangoon, the braised BBQ pork belly bao, the crispy garlic chicken, the shrimp pad thai, and the garlic crab fried rice. The food came out quickly and looked like classic Chinese takeout in the best possible way. The crab rangoon was perfectly light, crispy and warm. The pork belly bao was tender, juicy, and so full of flavor that my friend wouldnt stop talking about it. The pad thai dish had that perfect texture and bounce that many places struggle to get right. It had the ideal balance of egg, meat, bean sprouts, peanuts, and sauce. The crab fried rice had great flavor and came with a very generous amount of crab meat. The crispy garlic chicken is exactly that. It had an amazing crunch that lasted the entire meal without getting soggy and the garlic sauce flavors really came through and blended well with the spice. Oh yeah, there's heat in these dishes. I went back up to the chef and told him how impressed I was. I admitted that I expected something watered down, but instead I got legit Thai flavors (i'm Thai btw). He told me he is Thai too which connected all the dots. This was honestly one of the best Thai meals I have had in Tampa Bay, and it came out of a food truck. The ambience is cute and cozy with a few outdoor tables that is good perfect for the food, people watching, and chilling. Chef Steve is passionate about his food and is very friendly to all of his customers. His teammate Dillon was also very friendly. This is the spirit of St Pete and exactly what I love about local spots like these. Cannot wait to return and I will be telling everyone about DrunkenWok.

ribeye fries. you would think the fries would get soggy under all that but they came out perfectly!

The bao buns are a favorite of mines- the sauce for the chicken one is SO tasty. However, this time and the time past we were disappointed. I am a pescatarian and my daughter is a vegetarian, husband eats everything. They have removed so many GREAT items from the menu. The vegetarian section is literally stuff we make at home and we travel to eat here for the foods that are difficult or timely to make at home. Tom Yum (literally was the best EVER), baby bok choy, along with several other dishes are gone. I was left with eating Roti (great but fattening) and edamame. Again, I can make this at home. Worth a mention. We sat down and it took our server 20 minutes to greet us. We asked what was on draft, it says on the menu to ask, she handed us the menu (that we have already looked at for 20 minutes) and walked away. She complained that she had a huge table and was busy. No offense but...So...then ask someone else to handle our table. Not trying to be rude but we drove 1 hour and 45 minutes to specifically eat at this restaurant and you want to complain. So we waited ANOTHER 10 minutes and thank goodness the bar opened up with 3 seats. We moved after 30 min of waiting just for her to just take our drink order. Fortunately, the bartender was on point. She served our drinks and took our order. She is the reason for at least 3 stars. Not very happy about our last visit and friends have told us there are other places around there that the servers & menu will serve our needs better than our last experience. We never go to a restaurant and our bill is under $150. We work 6-7 days a week and are stressed just like many others. We just want good food, COLD drinks and friendly service.

Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. My friend and I both ordered the Mangosteen noodles, and they were honestly some of the worst noodles I've ever had. They were overcooked, mushy, and clumped together into one sticky mass. The service was just as disappointing. We waited for long periods without anyone checking on our table. Our dirty plates sat on the table for a very long time, and eventually I gathered them myself and handed them to a staff member because no one came to clear them. Since we were celebrating my friend's birthday, I wanted to order a dessert. Instead of simply taking the order, the server immediately focused on asking whether I was okay with the price, which felt unnecessary and awkward. At the end of the meal, we asked for the birthday guest's meal to be split among the rest of us. Unfortunately, that request was ignored, and the entire amount was added to my bill instead. The next day I called the restaurant to share my concerns. No one followed up with me as promised. On top of that, I noticed two separate charges on my credit card, so I called again and spoke with a manager. The response I received was extremely dismissive. I was simply told there was nothing they could do. I work in the hospitality industry myself, so I understand that mistakes can happen. However, what truly disappointed me was not just the food or the service it was the complete lack of concern for a guest's experience. I have rarely encountered such an indifferent attitude toward customer feedback. I wanted to share my experience so other guests know what to expect.

We arrived around 10:15 p.m. on a Friday night, with the restaurant closing at 11:00 p.m. Maybe that contributed to our experience, although several other parties were seated after us, so we weren't the last customers of the evening. We ordered quickly since we already knew what we wanted. My partner ordered the special, I ordered the ramen, and we shared the fried shrimp dumplings as an appetizer. Our server was friendly and attentive, though it was clear the staff was beginning to transition into closing mode. Unfortunately, that affected the atmosphere. While we were still eating, employees were spraying tables and mopping nearby. The smell of cleaning chemicals mixed with our food, which made the dining experience less enjoyable. When my ramen arrived, it looked more like a wonton soup or pho than the ramen I was expecting. I didn't question it because I assumed it might be their interpretation of the dish. However, the broth was quite bland, and the vegetables were still somewhat undercooked. The chicken had no seasoning, it tasted like it was boiled within the broth. After a few bites and sips, I decided not to finish it. My partner seemed to enjoy his meal, though he tends to be pretty easygoing when it comes to food. I didn't try his dish since it was very spicy and that's not really my thing. The restaurant is in a great location on Central Avenue, which makes it a fun area to walk around and people-watch. However, with most dishes priced around $20, I expected a better overall experience and higher quality food. Unfortunately, this isn't a place I would return to.

Even the cart on the street could do better work than a fancy one. So, walking into PIN Wok & Bowl I thought it would be worth the try. It could not be a bad choice. And it was not. It was authentic in many ways. Walking in we sat down and the gentleman came over with the menu and water. We took a lok and could not decide. It all sounded great. We knew we needed to have some dumplings to start. After that it was a touch choice. I was not decided so I asked what he would recommend if he had to decide. He told me he would get the RAINBOW BOWL. That was one of my choices. Placing the order we waited. And not for long. Out came the STEAMED PORK DUMPLING. It was well packed and had the correct dipping sauce. With my sticks in hand I picked one up, gave it a dip and tried. It was ideal. Think and rich. Well seasoned. Slightly warm and moist. It was perfect and just enough to give you a taste of what is ahead. And that did not take long. Up next we had the order. First was the RAINBOW POKE BOWL. This was a combination of tuna, salmon, cucumber slices, shredded carrot and red cabbage, a good portion of edamame, flakes of scallion, tobiko with kinchi sauce and a touch of sesame seed spicy mayo. It was wonderful. We also had Unagi Bowl, which is not easy to find. This was combination of BBQ eel, tamago, crab, shredded red cabbage, edamame, masago, with eel sauce sesame seed and scallion. Very traditional. And, as with the Rainbow bowl, the fish was very fresh. There was no problem eating it. It was a great meal, and at a great price. The team were perfect. And it does get a crowd of local people. Just as you would find if you were in. Thailand, Vietnam or in Japan. That is what is special. It is a combination itself with the food from the region which was always a mix of various meals that are combined and seasoned as one. It was like being living back in that area of the world. I already have an idea of what I will get next time I go. And, if I didn't I would just as one of the people there. They would recommend what they might order for themselves that day. As they say in Thailand: Khopkhun.
