    Flatbread and Korean wings

There are so many incredible restaurants in Palm Springs but we grabbed a quick dinner at this hotel bar/restaurant because we had to be up at 5am for a flight the next day. The bartender was friendly and the food arrived in a timely manner but it's just nothing special for the hotel prices they charge. The flatbread wasn't bad but I'd prefer it a little crispier and cooked longer. The wings were average but the sauce was good and wasn't too much on the wings. The beer selection is minimal but it's a full bar, which is a plus.

Ice coffee a nice pick me up

A real stay in town staycation hotel & their Palanco Kitchen restaurant for breakfast is so delicious with very nice waiters/waitresses and town staycation hotel also love their bar menu for late night dinners a great experience

The butter came frozen... But bread was great

The food was pretty good, but the service really took away from the dining experience. We came here for Christmas dinner because they had advertised some special dishes. We ordered both of the specials (prime rib and salmon salad) and were excited. However, it seems that there were only like 2 waiters taking care of about 15 tables on one of the busiest holidays. Needless to say, service was SLOW. We waited over an hour for our food to come, but when it finall came, it was very good! I enjoyed the Seafood platter appetizer, basically a mix of seafood (salmon, shrimp, maybe some scallops) as a dip that you eat with chips. The seafood felt really fresh and there was a kick of jalapeno that rounded out the whole dish. The salmon salad was a special for Christmas. I really hope they put it on the menu because it was excellent! The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the salad was great; the craisins and toasted pine nuts along with the sweet dressing turnes kale and some other mixed greens into a fantastic dish. The flat iron steak was also great. It was perfectly cooked, and really tender. It was seasoned well without being too salty, and it worked really well with my salad too ;). Overall, I really really enjoyed the food and it's nice to have a restaurant like this so conveniently placed in the hotel. However, I was disappointed with the lack of service, especially on a day that is expectedly busy. I would want to give a higher rating, but the poor service took too much away from the experience.

Delicious flat iron steak and great service. Calamari was meh but hubby liked his flatbread and kids loved their burger!

Bad angle but it really was grey not pink.

This place was not good. I ordered their $28 New York strip steak, medium rare but on the rare side and the first one showed up burnt all the way through, the second took about 25 minutes to arrive so I was sure it should be just the same. I was wrong it looked too have been frozen when placed on the grill, it was past well done all the way through except for about a 1/4 inch in the very center that was still ice cold. The mashed potatoes were a pile of yellow, oily flavorless mush work lumps in it like instant potatoes made with cold water. The veggies were ok but the whole plate was a soup of yellow oil. The calamari appetizer was actually really good as well as the French fries on my kids plate, my wife's fish and chips were ok also. It appears as though their fry chef is on top of his game. The waitress was actually great and I feel bad for her having to deal with the chefs ( I use the term loosely) disaster. I would never recommend this place.

We decided to treat ourselves to a quick breakfast, and I opted for the veggie omelette while my husband chose the French toast. Let's begin by saying our exceptional server, who was incredibly sweet, kind, and pleasant throughout our meal. However, let's address the food. The veggie omelette was a letdown. Instead of the traditional omelette where vegetables are incorporated into the eggs, this dish had eggs placed on top of the vegetables. This deviation from the classic omelette concept completely defeated its purpose. I was able to separate the vegetables from the eggs, but that's not what I paid $20.00 for! Moving on to the French toast, which was supposed to be a delightful banana French toast with a nicely caramelized, battered crust. Unfortunately, it was far from that. The French toast was extremely soggy, and the banana sauce, which was meant to complement the dish, soaked up everything, leaving it a soggy mess. While the service was excellent, the food left much to be desired. With a few tweaks, The Farm has the potential to become a stellar dining destination.

I noticed a sign that said that you will be seated once your entire party has arrived. We didn't wait too long before our group of 19 arrived and were seated. The decor has a vintage feel with beautiful chandeliers/lighting and dark, but warm color wood throughout the restaurant. Even the ceiling is detailed. My 2nd visit was with my husband. He decided to eat here after I had brought home a coconut crème pie for him from my first visit. During my first visit I enjoyed a wonderful chicken pot pie. Even though it was a warm day outside, seeing it on the menu caught my stomachs attention. It was a good size, I wasn't able to finish it. The crust was baked to perfection. The filling was perfect just the right balance of meat to veggies, with the perfect creaminess. During my second visit I enjoyed one of the breakfast favorites on the menu which it is mentioned only served until 3pm. I had ordered the Belgium Waffle with Gold 'N' Spice Chicken Tenders. I added a side order of scrambled eggs to my order. Everything was fabulous! I devoured everything. Sadly we didn't have room for dessert! There's so much unused space that I'm sure they could fit three restaurants inside. The first thing you notice as you walk in is the large koi pond full of fish and turtles. We were mesmerized. The next thing you figure out is this is definitely an old school spot. All the servers and hosts are older women who have probably worked there for years. Already, it was my kind of place. My sister ordered corned beef hash and eggs, and the size was massive. It was so much food that she took it to go and we shared it for breakfast the next day. I ordered the tuna melt. I'm pretty picky about my melts, but the server spoke highly about it, so I was convinced. It was albacore white meat tuna with very little added besides the mayo, and it was perfectly grilled on rye bread, their recommendation. It came with several side options, but I went for the cole slaw. Suffice it to say it was delicious. We liked the place so much, we decided since it was on our way out of town, we'd stop in again for breakfast. Again, we were not disappointed. I had the short stack of pancakes which were perfectly done and fluffy. Sister had the pecan waffle, which came with dollops of whipped cream and loads of pecans. Another total hit for both of us. I highly recommend if you appreciate old school diners, you stop in and enjoy a meal here. We loved it and will be back next time we are in town.
