Churri Waffle and a Tito's Lemonade
    Lyn S.

First-I am amazed that they could get us in, at a shaded patio table, no less, right away. The service was immediate and super professional, too. We decided on The Special, the Berry Churro Waffle, a side of bacon, a Bloody Mary, & a fresh lemonade w/Tito's. It was all exceptional!!! This spot is a fantastic choice to dine at in a town filled with great brunch options!

Wilma & Frieda's lives up to every bite! I ordered the chicken sausage omelet with potatoes, and homemade biscuit, We also shared the shrimp and grits, which were rich & creamy! Everything was delicious! To top it off, my watermelon margarita was refreshing and hit the spot! Another winner in Palm Springs boasting good vibes!

With a rooftop view of the main drag, delicious shrimp and grits, and a dog friendly patio, Wilma & Frieda's delivers. There were plenty of people on the patio because of the weather being fairly nice. There were only a few waiters serving the outside, so it was a little slow, but we were in no hurry. The shrimp and grits were nicely portioned with three very large shrimp/prawns. The jam for the biscuits stood out very nicely and complimented the savory of the grits. I ended up sharing with one of my friends, and we felt full and satisfied.

Cute but busy place located in the heart of downtown on the second floor. We checked in and the hostess said it was about 20-25 min wait, however we were called fairly quickly in about 10 min. Really cute bar area at the entrance, then you head over to the restaurant area. I had the California Benny and a pineapple mimosa, both were absolutely delicious. Service was a little slow, and it took a while after being seated for the server to actually come over and take our order. She was pleasant though, as was everyone we interacted with.

Yum! Brunch here was delicious. Located on the downtown strip. Lots of seating. Service was great. The Biscuits & Gravy was amazing! I liked that it came with 2 eggs on top. The house potatoes are a MUST. Mimosas were also very good - and only $6. Such a good brunch spot!

We came in around noon and waited about 30 minutes for a table, but it was absolutely worth it! Once seated, the service was incredibly fast. A huge shoutout to our server, Andrew, who kept our refills coming and handled all our requests perfectly. The atmosphere is lively and upbeat, and the food portions are very generous. This is definitely a MUST visit brunch spot if you are in Palm Springs

Shrimp and grits, enormous biscuit and hash browns

We met two friends of ours here for lunch brunch. They live here in Palm springs and really like it. I can understand that. First off, we had great and I mean great service from Orville. My meatloaf melt with tater tots was excellent. The ranch dressing was really good, and I assume they make it. The other sandwich was a short rib melt with tater tots, and she liked it very much. One person ordered shrimp and grits with a biscuit and hash browns. She loved the grits, wished there were more than three medium size shrimp, but enjoyed them. The hash browns were frankly inedible, but she didn't care. The fourth dish was biscuits and gravy with hash browns. The hash browns were again inedible. His biscuit was just okay, the eggs and gravy were good. There were a couple of three stars, and a couple of four stars. I would be happy to return here and try some other dishes which looked good on the menu.

First stop in Palm Springs. Service was good. Food was flavorful. Second story view on balcony was nice. Overlooking the main strip!

Blackberry French toast (included in The MO)

I have been to this restaurant once before and decided to come here again. Both times I've been here. The food is amazing. I am not sure if they make everything in house fresh but even by the way, my French toast was and my mom's muffin was made it seem like they might make them in house. Everything tasted perfect eggs, bacon, and French toast. My mom also got poached eggs and toast and she enjoyed it a lot. Although the menu isn't giant everything on it sounded good. It also seemed like a good place where you can get healthy options as well. Only bad part is since this restaurant is so great. The wait time was about 35 minutes at 11 AM. If you can sit outside, that was the best option because of the covering and misters although it was about 80° outside, it felt like perfect weather so would highly recommend the outdoor seating.

    The Berry Pop tart

My friends and I were visiting from out of town and decided to give Wilma & Frieda's a try. For three people, our bill came to just under $100 including tip, so we were expecting a quality brunch experience. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Berry Pop Tart. It arrived warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We finished every bite. One of my friends also ordered the freshly squeezed orange juice, which was excellent. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. We ordered the Churro Waffle, and while it was okay, it was barely warm and lacked the crispy exterior you expect from a waffle. I had a churro waffle at another restaurant before and wasn't expecting the exact same experience, but this one waaaay fell short. The biggest letdown was the Chef Chad's Biscuits & Gravy, which the menu proudly claims are "the best." The dish arrived barely warm, and the gravy was extremely runny. All three of us agreed that it tasted more like something poured from a jar than homemade gravy. After a few bites, we couldn't continue eating it. We also ordered Benny's Bennie. Again, it arrived barely warm. I took one bite and immediately spit it into my napkin. The sauce had an unpleasant flavor and was so runny that it seemed more like canned sauce than freshly made hollandaise. None of us could eat it. The sausage patty we ordered to accompany our meal was also undercooked. We informed our waiter, who quickly brought out another one. Unfortunately, it appeared to have simply been sliced thinner and reheated, and it still wasn't fully cooked. We then requested bacon instead. It arrived almost immediately, but rather than being freshly cooked and hot, it was barely warm, oddly hard yet chewy at the same time. By the end of the meal, most of the food remained on our plates because we simply couldn't stomach eating it. The only items we completely finished were the Berry Pop Tart and the orange juice. To be fair, the restaurant itself was lovely. The atmosphere was welcoming, the bathrooms were clean, and our waiter provided excellent service throughout the meal. I truly wish the food had matched the quality of the service and atmosphere. Based on our experience, spending over $95 for a meal where most of the food was left untouched was disappointing.

    Amazing drink

Love coming here , the food is amazing and the drinks are the bomb. Also the bartenders are Great , look for Levi and Aaron .

    California Benedict

Some of the best brunch I've had in a long time. I got the California Benedict. Simple menu item done right. The English muffin they use is home made and tasted really fresh. Their biscuit was delicious and lovely service. The server made a mistake on my dish and he admitted that error and brought out the dish asap so I could eat with the rest of my party. Would definitely revisit!

There's never been a negative time at Wilma & Frieda's. When we arrived for Sunday brunch the placed was packed yet somehow our party of 6 got seated within 20 minutes. My omelette was packed with goodies as you can see from the pics. The rest of our party thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. We stop here anytime we're in the area just so we can have a fun and safe space to dine.

We were immediately whisked away into a night of unrivaled service and culinary perfection. Tucked away in one of Palm Springs' most charming shopping plazas, this meal was easily the highlight of my week. The menu is brilliantly varied, but a few dishes truly stole the show. The grilled artichoke is a classic, but their execution of it is completely elite. The Halibut main was a revelation--hands down the best I've ever tasted. There's plenty of parking, and if you do have to wait, they have a cute little covered outdoor seating area with chairs and tables where you can relax. We sat on the patio, which was surprisingly cool and comfortable, so don't let the Palm Springs heat scare you away. The whole restaurant has such a sexy, colorful, candlelit vibe that somehow feels both lively and intimate. We kept the drinks simple and ordered Hugo Spritzes, which were refreshing and perfectly made for a hot afternoon. What we ordered: * Caramelized Onion Tart (Puff pastry, chive, Comté) - This was recommended by our server and I can see why. It reminded me of French onion soup wrapped in a flaky puff pastry. Rich, savory, and definitely shareable since it is a bit on the heavier side. * Red Thai Curry Mussels (PEI mussels, ginger, garlic, lemongrass, red chile, coconut milk) - WOW. This was hands down my favorite dish. The broth was incredible, rich and packed with flavor without feeling too heavy. I was worried the lemongrass might overpower everything, but it was perfectly balanced. It comes with toasted bread and trust me, you'll want every last drop of that broth. I'd honestly come back just for this dish. * Steak Frites - The steak was cooked perfectly medium and was delicious. The fries were crispy and seasoned well, making it a classic done right. * Broccolini - Simple but really good with a nice char that added great flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. The atmosphere is one of the best parts..beautiful, moody, and full of personality..but the food absolutely held its own. Service was friendly, the patio was comfortable, and now I completely understand why it's one of Palm Springs' hardest reservations to get. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

We happened to be a bit early since he had not been able to finish setting up shop yet. We went ahead and waited until he was ready without rushing him because we ourselves weren't in any rush at all. Surrounded by a ton of nice interesting artwork, it was a pure joy to enjoy a drink or two in this environment. The bar can be found at the corner on the other side of the hotel concierge in plain sight from such a big space for a lobby, directly left upon entrance through the front. Since it was slow in the morning, we were able to chat it up with the bartender and even explore a bit of experimentation in the form of a particular top secret cocktail that every mixologist knows. I definitely exercised my etiquette and reading the conditions to even suggest it. He couldn't be any nicer about our time with him. So yeah, Christopher H. from 9/9/18, I don't know what you're talking about. I make it a point to visit the bar at any Kimpton location nowadays. I always seem to have a good time.
